Awalkan sikit random rambling session sebab esok aku cuti. Horey!

That is my breakfast for today. Awesome for giving you that sugar buzz early in the morning and tooth rottening. Courtesy of the friendly bai roti of the neighborhood.

Books!

Tomorrow aku cuti. Saje2. And kebetulan pula there is some World Book Day promos ongoing at BookXcess and I am so going there tomorrow morning to haunt their new bookstore. I am hoping for some good deals, and a bit excited if I can find some books that I had been itching to read at half of the price as the one in Borders. It always kinda irk me that Kinokuniya and Borders don't offer membership cards for their frequent customers. I do like Kinokuniya stores better than Borders though. A tad bit cheaper, bigger selections and they blared out great music. Also Borders placed their books haphazardly, author with surname start with K ade kat J, M ade kat L. Confusing. But given the choice, if I can get cheaper books elsewhere, I'll go there instead.

Speaking of books, I had started reading that trilogy Inkheart books. I am not sure if I can deem it as boring, but it seems to be by the first few pages I read it ( I can't seem to get past chapter 2). But the thing is that, the characters are extremely unlikable. And I hate how the author seems to hit the readers on the head repeatedly on how the characters seems to REALLY LOVE BOOKS. Really? Mr/Ms Cornelia Funke? Like I didn't get that, the last 50 times you mentioned it! Maybe I'll need to read another book first before delving further into Inkheart. Who knows, it may get better after the first few chapters.

Birthday!

Besok is my hubby birthday. Barf. Hubby. I had to laugh out loud when Taqi used "your hubby boo". That is the most sickening thing ever. Husband. I'll use and be using that. Senang kata, ni haa laki aku dah makin tua esok. So, besok birthday dinner! Yeay! Kalo aku rajin aku post pics.

And yesterday was James McAvoy birthday! Happy belated birthday and may your blazing blue eyes be blazing some more at the cinemas nearby for me to gaze adoringly at! Eik, and I am giddy!

Bloody Idiot

That's me.

Damn fool.
Me also.

I wish I was a little bit less melodramatic. Turn down the melodrama a bit down would then prove beneficial for my overall common sense and dignity.

Do you know I like to talk to myself when I am embarassed? Fun fact no. 1. But that can also happened if I am bored. Ok, that no 2, is just a cover up just in case you find me talking to myself and know that I am embarrassed because I am mentioning it, so I am throwing fact no 2 which maybe true or not so I can disguise the fact if it does happened and you people who reads this blog and remembered this and found me in a situation where I talk to inanimate objects deduced that I am embarrassed. Why do I have such thought process?

God. I am such a bloody idiotic fool. I just can't get over on how much of a total idiot I was. That word is becoming redundant. I wanna Shift + F7 at Words a bit to get a little variation. By the way, I always totally did this when writing an assignment and sometimes this blog, hitting Shift + F7 to widen a bit the vocab.

Let see what it had to offer.
unintelligent - nope
dim - true!
thick - true!
dense - true!

I tire of typing and copying so the above: dim, thick and dense all apply to me.

You, yes, you must be agreeing and saying to yourself I brought it upon myself. True that. But I ain't going down alone.
This nonsensical entry does not make sense, but it does to me. In a way. Maybe I'll look up this entry and thought to myself, yeah, this thing does not make sense. I just need to VENT!

On how FOOLISH I had been.

It is one of those mood swing Adek been talking about that I have which seems overdue.

Oi balik la Dila.

You know what

Writing about the below post, I remembered something else and looking on it back objectively I am freaking hopping mad.

So, the next time you want to dump someone, say it clearly and concisely. Not with songs that can have multiple meaning according to the listener. Because that is just fucked up.

Called this delayed anger reaction. Now I am feeling nauseous because I am just so freaking angry and resentful.

Damn it, I am going to write about my tiny man in a hole and bring him up appropriately that he won't give any tiny ladies mixed messages.

Writing here Tuesday:

I spout random stuffs on Friday. It's becoming a habit.

Damn! Is this a thing now? Is blogging becoming a thing so difficult for me to do? Even spouting off nonsense things? Bah! So I am giving my fingers free reign to type whatever things they want. Ok, fingers. Be free!

1. Eh. My man in a hole story had evolved to another paragraph. He had now 'homified' his home a bit, and dig tunnels to make rooms. I only started on the bedroom and lounge though. Kitchen next.

2. I had ran out of perfume. I am waiting for my mom to get back from Qatar and bring me the perfume I asked from my sister. In the mean time, I am searching for my other perfume laying somewhere around the house. So right now I am not smelling wangi which makes me sad. I do have my Annick Goutal though, but I can't bring myself to spray that everyday. That shit cost RM500 per bottle. I am wearing gold jeweleries that cost less than that. Shit, and now I sound like the bloggers that parade around their LVs and 'Couches' in the blog. Erase this from your memory. But I do have to add Annick Goutal perfume is super amazing. You sprayed it the night before, bangun pagi esok tu pon you are still smelling like you just sprayed the perfume. And I will still parade around my Sungai Wang bought bags in the blog. If I bought any. I haven't. But I did bought new clothes from Sungai Wang! Squeal! Oh God. I need to stop typing this paragraph now.

3. I am thinking to watch movie alone tonight but my husband frowned upon the idea. Not that he is afraid that anyone will hit on me or maybe I will hit on anyone. More like his tone of voice is like when I wave off the idea of asking anyone to join me, "Can't you be any weirder." But he doesn't mean in it in bad way, more like in an exasperating "Why you don't enjoy the company of people like any normal people do?." Oh, I didn't asked my husband because he already have other plans. Eh, how about we organize some movies outing on Friday. Who wants to come, come, but everybody buy their own tickets and sit anywhere they like to sit and no asking somebody else to buy your tickets unless you can come on time. BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT I HATE? Missing movie trailers. And secretly, I think people who hang out with me don't really like hanging out with me because I either bored them to death or irritated them to death.Or they plain. Just. Don't. Like. Me.

4. There's a career fair in Midvalley, perlu nak pergi ke?

Was not in the mood

for blogging. Don't know but my mood was a little bit depressed. Probably because I found that I can't seem to breath going through the difficult project been assigned to me. But LETS (with a hysterical note) forget that for a moment, ok! So at the moment, I am listening to Devics which is always good at soothing me or lulling me to sleep. And do you know that Devics is considered as a dream pop group. Awesome genre. If I ever would fall in love with a group, the group SHOULD fall into a dream pop genre. Just seems apt.

Oh, I started a story about a tiny man living in a hole, and so far he still lived in a hole because I only got to one paragraph. I have no idea where the story will lead to or if it will ever continue.

I am always making stories in my head , very rarely it made it to paper because I just have too many damn interests including laziness occupying my time. Sometimes, I paused the story in my head and the characters will tap their feet waiting for me to remember them. Then after a time, when I am beginning to forget them, they will turn hazy and are lost wandering the land of Nothing-Absolutely-At-All-Is-Happening-To-Me. Then I too get stuck in that land. Which then I meet these characters again and they begin to tell their stories again. If I am feeling generous I will fabricate them a hasty ending. Some does not seems satisfied on the ending being given to them, but away they goes. Some, got lost so long forgot their stories and disappear as a mist of whispered words and promises of a rebirth in another character.

Ah, such is the life of an imaginary character living in my head.

I think tomorrow I will put up a post with pics! I think!

Random Rabbles

I think Taye Diggs is kinda hot. Idina Menzel is a very lucky woman.

I hate breaking in a new shoe. But my new shoes look hot anyway.

I had finished watching HIMYM Season 1 - Season 4. It is indeed legend-Wait for it-ary.

Went to the Sony Expo just now. Its fun if you like hanging around playing games and stuffs, and not if you're in a hurry.

My mouse is stupid. Malas betul nak beli mouse baru ok.

Ok. I am kinda bumming out that we had ran out of HIMYM eps to watch. Decided to wait for Season 5 to finish, so can marathon it. Just because Barney Stinson is not meant to be taken in moderation.

I run out of idea, and want to go home now.

Late post for Sheema's Birthday Events

Macam biasa aku memang lembap bab-bab upload gamba ni. So here some chosen pics to go into this blog, and later in Facebook perhaps!

Last Saturday was Sheema's birthday. So we started our outing with Redbox karaoke. Di mana, mesti posing dulu amik gamba sebelum start menyanyi

Selepas puas melalak and an unsatisfactory meal at Redbox, we headed to Toastbox ke Mytoast for munchies and drinks to replenish our voice. Seriously we were kinda wiped out.

Then we headed to ice skating! But no pics! Boo! I am kicking myself that I do not at least take pics semasa kami-kami memakai skate. There were many, many, many slippery and unforgettable moments at the ice rink, which resulted in a few falls and wet jeans. Bah!

And later for dinnertime, Sheema telah membelanja kami at Fish & Co which is delicious. Terima Kasih, Sheema.

Oh, the ice skating experience leave a prolong mark' or injury to one of us, when Seri ended up in a hospital due to fractured bones sebab jatuh terjelepuk di ice rink . Tapiiii Seri, you have to admit that the ice skating is not a complete waste of time kan, kan, kan?

Seri says hi!

My new favorite site

Funny Facebook Fails
see more funny facebook stuff!

I would think if you are typing while masturbating, it would be a masturbate fail. But then I had never participate in a sex chat.

Did I ever tell you how I try to participate in a sex chat, but failed because I was laughing so hard while shuddering? I don't know, if I ever did, but let me rehash the story. (I think I must have told to some of my friends)

I got into the internet back in 1998. It was fairly new at the time, and the thought that I can communicate with people from all around the world thrills me. Yes. I am not a boy, so I never care much about porn. But getting into the scary world of the WWW, you will be exposed to it anyway. Especially if you are new and a teenager.

Digressing. Like I said I like to chat. While everyone else was getting fired up on MiRC, at the time I got into Yahoo Chat and chatted with many, many people around the world. And I assure you, not only the Malaysian men/boys kept on asking for sex chat. Of course the phrase used then is cybersex. Is it still used now? I am no longer hip and cool. There was one time; an American, I think used the term " Do you want to Yahoo?" . Which meant cybersex. And I declined like all the other requests before me.

One bored day I got a little curious. I was wondering, how one actually 'do' a cybersex? I just want to see how it goes. So it goes something like

Boy in some part of the world: Hey you wanna cyber?

Me: Sure!

Boy: Great!

Me: Hmmm. This is my first time, so you need to teach me.
(Hmmm...I wonder if that got him fired up )

Boy: No worries. I will tell you what to do. First, go to your refrigerator and take a zucchini or a carrot.

Me: Why?

Boy: So you can slide it into your p****y ( There are some word that I just refused to type).

DilsUsernameAtTheTime had now logged out.

I was aghast. I remembered thinking "Do people actually do that?" "Gah, gah, gah, gah, gah, gah!" while laughing hysterically. It just seems painful to me. And a gross misconduct and abuse to a vegetable. While it was tempting to let him go on and on but even now being 27 and married, I don't really want to know what people would suggest another person do to a zucchini.

But hey, I kinda missed chatting with random people around the world. But from what I know with webcams and everything, the chat world had gotten a whole lot more scarier. Its not all bad then. I used to get a Christmas card from some random dude I used to chat regularly with living in London. He is either a gym instructor or a gym enthusiast because he kept on mentioning doing weights. He got the most abysmal handwriting I had ever seen but still it was nice of him.

Ranting, meandering...the usual

I am drawing at a blank to blog. So random time! Just felt the need to blog because last post is too depressing to be left for long.

Gossip Girl rant

Season 3 is so lacklustre. I am not sure because Blair and Chuck is together, but maybe because they have not tap into Blair and Chuck awesomeness. I am also quite sick of Serena sleeping around. Whenever people asked her to stop having sex, she will go all doe eyed and pouty and agreed but in the next 30 secs lost her pant in the process. Why are you writing her as such a dumb slut, show? Does Serena have absolutely no control over her libido?

Kitties

Kurap sekarang sudah sangat gemok. I need to show some pics, but really she is becoming obese. I guess I didn't played with her enough which is why I let her play with Fasha, still I guess she needed more exercise. And Fasha looks so emaciated, I am planning to coop her up this weekend to fatten her up a bit. She looked like nobody is feeding her. I looked at the stray cats around the backyard, they are even fatter than Fasha. If it continues, a trip to the vet is needed.

Shopping

I am feeling like membeli some shoes, hermmmm... it had been a while since a need to shop for shoes and handbags are lit up inside me. It felt foreign, yet welcoming but frightening. Haha! I also need to stop buying books and wait until I finish reading what I bought then continue to buy them again. I used to re-read Anne series every year, without fail! Because I don't have any money to buy books then back in college days (but I can still buy clothes), I re-read many books that I had. I am feeling like I missed my Anne books. The books are a bit preachy, but it does keep me inspired.

And the thing aside from the multitudes of clothes that I have, ( my husband lament that I took 3/4 of the big closet and left him with a tiny space. Eh, you are a dude ) I realized that most clothes that I had are oldddd. Seriously they are even some shirts from when I was 14, that I am still wearing at least to the grocery stores. Hoh! And most of the clothes there, I have had them since the end of Form 5. My baju kurung, my jalan-jalan clothes, my jeans. And the thing is I noticed that I usually kept on wearing these old clothes and loathe to wear my new one. And my jeans, I seriously need to buy new jeans. The last time I bought a jeans was when I was 8 kg heavier. If I wear them now, I only needed to unbelt it and it would drop to the floor. But I still keep it because I am not delusional to think that I will be kurus (ok, moderately less tembam) forever.. Damn! That make the fried chicken I wanting to buy today for lunch as a bad idea.

the "What If" of today

Supposedly my EDD was today. ( To the uninformed, it is Expected Delivery Date).

You know that we should not really think about the "What If's", but it seems such a good activity to be doing while spacing out, especially when stuck in jam. Curses the jam!

I don't feel bitter that I lost the pregnancy. I think I took it pretty well. Something are just not meant to be.

But it feels weird nonetheless, sometimes I like to sound it out to my husband. Like, at this particular time, if "that" didn't happened, I will probably be bitching to him about how fat I look. ( Not that I still don't bitch about how I think I look fat). Or if "that" didn't happened, I would probably have a kid around the same age as this and this. Or how changed our life would be.

Dangerous, these "what if" is. Like I said, its a bit weird.

Anyway, I am not particularly sad , I am just feeling like today could turn out differently but it do not. Maybe a tad bit melancholy. .

The past request you as a friend

Ya know, an old scandal/crush,( I don't even know how to categorize it)  requested me as a friend on FB recently.

I know it had been years since we last talk but the last time we had our interaction, he left me with a bad taste in my mouth. And I DO NOT meant that literally. And to see that he also sent me a message with a jovial-like tone to it like nothing is wrong and not that he was a jerk to me, make me feels mad. I blogged about my last interaction with him somewhere in my blog. Back then, 'category/labels' had not been invented yet, (or I haven't start using it) so it is going to be time consuming digging through all the entries.

Anyway, I do not feel like adding him to my list of friends. However I hit the "Accept" button anyway. Or is it "confirm"? Can't really confirm since Facebook is block at the office.

But I am not worrying. I also know why I accept the request anyway.

1. I am curious what he is doing now and if he is married/engaged/single.

2. Curious what he looks like nowadays. And am feeling satisfied that we lost contact for a few years because he looks like a douche now.  I may stand a jerk or a douche. But not both.

3. He would cease communication with me once he know that I am married.

So I believe that's that for this story.

Oscars thoughts churned out loud

Because the Oscars had just passed by so am feeling a bit excited. A little bit about the Oscars.

The awards ceremony

Missed the NPH opening songs, which is a shame!

It was a WTF-had-happened moment, when the Best Documentary Short speech was "Kanye West" (everyone seems to be calling it that). It was incredibly funny seeing the guy standing there with a look like " I would strangle this woman but I'm on TV" and the woman continue to yammer on.

I like that "Paranormal Activity" spoof. I think it was hilarious.

While it was certainly nice to see the horror montage, I questioned why Jaws, Silence of the Lambs and Edward Scissorhands are thrown in the mix. And Twilight is not a horror movie!!! Calling it a supernatural love story is more appropriate. I most certainly love seeing The Blob montage. That movie was awesomely B-movieish. As also The Slugs. And The Hand. Which comes to another point, that I am most certainly ANTICIPATING the new Freddy Krueger movie.

I covet that woman who won Costume Design award, look. I love, love, love her hat/headpiece. I think its a hat. But on second thought it maybe a headpiece because it seems so stuck to her hair? But I love it anyway Ok. Its a shiny beret and its awesome! .

While I do reasonably like Barbara Streisand, I hate her last night when she presents the Best Director .. "for the first time ever...it could be a woman, it could be a African-American", so the other people don't matter?

Up is deserving of its Best Original Score. Whenever I heard that song, I feel like ballroom dancing, even though I don't know how.

The fashion.

People may hate on Zoe Saldana dress. But I. LOVE. IT. I wish there were more fluffy balls of pouffi-ness around her dress! I would totally wear that going up and down the stairs 30 times just to see it bounce around me. AND THAT WOULD TOTALLY MAKE A GOOD WORKOUT REGIME!

The trends on a strapless dress is really making me weary. Especially for wedding dresses. Most wedding dresses that I seen in blogs and weddings (western style I meant) always push for strapless. And some of the women choosing to wear this strapless dress, their breasts looks sad and droopy (yes, I can call it because it does seems to look that way). An example of an Oscar strapless dress that is a a bit ugh

Not that it is terrible, it just seems unsuitable for her.

And I kinda am digging Diane Kruger ruffles and chiffon dress..

The movies itself.

I usually watch the movies after the award itself. But the only movies I really want to watch are The Hurt Locker, An Education and Up In The Air. So tengok la bile I got the chance.

In summary: Jdo

A few days back, I had finally finished watching a jdorama titled Around 40. Took me several months to finish it. I started with Around 40, but then I started watching Mei-Chan no Shitsuji and was distracted by Mizushima Hiro cuteness and abandoned Around 40 and watched Mei-Chan no Shitsuji.

So I am now itching to find a new jdo to watch. I don't have any point of reference, and I couldn't be bothered to google which is the best and so and so. My never fail method is DramaWiki the name of the actor or actress that I enjoyed watching in past jdo and downloaded it and hope it don't sucks.

Then I find myself bothered by a niggling little detail. The boys that I like to watch in jdo nowadays, mostly their birth year is after 1982. And the girls! Don't let me start on that. Some are even born on the 90s. Gah! I feel old! I am old! I am too old to be drooling over Mizushima Hiro or Yamapi.

I looked at the 'older girls' of jdo that I like to watch like Nakama Yukie and Esumi Makiko, and some of their jdo are about relationship about wife and their mom-in-law. Bah! Is there no interesting roles to give to older women in Japan?

And I don't like Kyoko Fukada ever since that God Gives Me More Time debacle of a jdo. Hate, hate, hate that jdo. I tried to like her in S.O.S. but found myself wishing that the character had been frostbitten to death at the end of the series. (there was a scene where the characters are stuck in a snowstorm, I think. I may had gotten confused with HYD 2. )

So I made it a point nowadays to check out the jdo that have Nakama Yukie, Naohito Fujiki and Esumi Makiko on them. I love anything that have Nakama Yukie (she's so pretty even if she's a bit kayu) and Esumi Makiko (she have such grace and elegance to her that I find attractive) and of course Naohito Fujiki, whom I first watched on Love Revolution. At least I can gaze dreamily on Naohito Fujiki appropriately without a sudden start in realization that the guy is wayyy younger than me.

Whenever I think of Naohito Fujiki, I always remembered Love Revolution. That is my absolute fav show ever. Ohhh. That show gives me goosebumps and butterflies even to this day. There is something so sweet about the jdo. And I fell head over heels with Naohito Fujiki. Especially the part when he called out the heroine name, all lilting and teasing. I swear I could have swoon, if I let myself.

Hmmm. Initially was planning to dedicate a whole post about Love Revolution, however all I could think about is love, butterflies, amazing, love, love, love.

So I am wrapping up this mess of a post about jdo, by saying I am downloading Untouchable starring Nakama Yukie and waiting for Naka nai to Kimeta Hi ( already out but no subs, starring Eikura Nana who is so cute and Naohito Fujiki !!! Both of them better not hook up in this jdo or I would be pissed. ) and Wagaya no Rekishi that have a lot of actors and actresses that I like.

p/s: Well, this post is most certainly link busy. I couldn't be bothered to download pics for your amusement. There were too many jdos, actors and actresses that I had mentioned.

p/s 2: Maybe I can do a bit of a post on Hana Yori Dango later. Hurmmmm.

Really short updates

I really wants to blog. But I am really super sleepy so will post random short stuffs instead. Did they put some sleeping drugs in this Shilin Taiwan XXL Fried Chicken. I ate only half of it, because I am too kenyang to finish it. It is really big! Will leave it for dinner.

Just started to watch How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM) And it is freaking hilarious! That lady in Siem Reap (I bought the dvd there) was right, it is really funny and her words were "I couldn't stop watching". True, true. Before going to work today, I manage to watch 2 eps even.

Fables Vol 13 is now out! Am so excited! And it looks thick! I saw it at Borders today, but bought something else

Why is it soo hard to get avocado juice ar? Is it a seasonal fruit or what?

The book that I bought from Borders today. Tada!

I am going to balut it, and caress it, and read it! By the way, the price at the back was 63.80RM, but with 20% off if bought another thing, (which I bought Cleo as a frivolous purchase), both magazine and book cost RM48.88. Cheaper than the Alice in Wonderland tickets I bought. Hoh!

Oh yeah, I had bought Alice in Wonderland movie tickets to watch this Friday. In 3D somemore. Never watch a 3D thingies before so I'm a bit jakun. However, I hope I will not puke like my colleague did (seems like she can't stand 3D when watching Avatar and ran out to the bathroom to puke).

Randomness

One-ness
I am feeling old because I am feeling sick and felt inclined to tell ALL people what ails me like old people tends to do. Then suddenly I remembered my arwah grandmother who had paranoia and used to think that every single noise in the dead of the night was created solely in purpose to annoy/frightened/drive her further into paranoia.

I missed my grandmother. I reserved the right when I am old and cranky to spew out any nonsense I can, not (just) because I have paranoia, but just because I can.

Two-ness
My eyes caught a news item mentioning NUBE is collecting signatures to petition government in increasing the maternity leave from 60 days to 90 days. Anything that promotes holiday, I am all for it! Honestly, I was shocked to learn that Malaysia maternity leave (private sectors mostly), is only at 60 days. I really did thought before this that the maternity leave is 90 days minimum. (Nampak sangat tak baca employment contract betul-betul. Hehe). The thing is, I was browsing though people opinions regarding the matter and came across a blog where there was a discussion going on where the women commenting on it turned the topic to breastfeeding. Mainly their mad hate to women who bottle feed their babies.

Honestly, reading a few mummy blogs here and there, the hate towards women who don't breastfeed their children is ridiculous. You would think that these women are accusing that bottle-feeding is equivalent to giving babies cyanide. If I ever have a child and the need to bottle feed the baby ever arise, I would be afraid to buy baby formula milk in fear of women around the supermarket would suddenly come up together as a mob, pulled me by the hair outside and throw stones at me for abusing my poor child, Malena style.

Three-ness
Oh, today on the way to lunch I was walking behind a woman wearing skirt. As per usual, I am walking and reading at the same time and I noticed that a man staring intently at the woman in front of me. Which I then noticed the incredibly high slit at the back of her skirt almost to her buttocks. Suffice to say, I didn't continue my reading. I am totally perverted, I know. But seriously, a slit that high,  you just have to look .  It took me a while to snap out of my reverie , so I then walked a bit faster to walk ahead of her so that I would not be caught ogling at another person butts. Though I am sure people would only notice THE SLIT if they are behind her too.

Four-ness
Have now stopped using Himalaya skin products. It was ok at first, then after about a month, pimples come up like they are having a party. Gah! Not that I have baby smooth face, tapi the pimples come up reasonably. Sebelum period, pimples come up 1 or 2 at most. Fine. Its the course of life, womanhood, bla bla bla. But when I have 4 and 5 coming up at the same time, mulalah aku berdrama. I used my brother Oxy face wash first, and the pimples had back a retreat and continuing using Simple again . Bah!

Things seems to be moving slowly today huh?

Am really lazy today. Can't wait for the 3 days hols. Then no more public hols till May. Boo! Gotten  anemail on some impending works, and am afraid its gonna be more busy for me in a few days time, so better start blogging now, spewing some random stuffs out would work.

I am feeling shaky all day too. Nothing to it, probably would be ok tomorrow.

Had now move into the house. The kitchen is completed, I don't feel like showing pics because it just a place to cook and wash plates, and also a laundry area plus drying area plus kitties area. Want to see, come over to my house~! I can't cook (for people digestion, for my own I am fine with it) but at least I will have drinks.

Speaking of kitties, last night was my first night at the house. And just I was about to doze into sleep, I noticed at our bedroom window, this silhouette (bayang-bayang).

A poorly drawn depiction of Fasha hanging onto the grills. I didn't draw the grills, its not the focal point here.

She climbed up to the first floor of our bedroom window and demanded to be let in by mewing. So  when we let her in, she asked to be let out to go at the back of the house. Mengada ok. So I left the window ajar a bit before going back to bed again, so she can climb up again at the dead of the night and let herself in easily. Kurap we already had settled in our room, because she get agitated if there is no human around so she was sleeping on the bedside table beside me. But I woke up to the sound of Fasha in the room and when she realized I am awake, she quickly jump on the bed to bite me to let me know  " I wanna go outside now , thank you very much."

It feels weird having a whole house to our own. I am used living with my sisters or friends or family that a house with only the both of us, feels very grown uppish, and I myself am feeling like playing house. Ah well, the bad thing is housekeeping chores are on me now. Bah!

CNY trips like many other before me

So, I had finally made it to Cameron Highlands after 17 years last I had step there.

Nothing to say much here because I am sure many of you had gone there and know your way and experience more than me. As I make the trip , reached there morning and going back late afternoon.

Before even reaching Cameron I needed to make scenic stops to go to the restrooms.

Above picture 1: Ridiculously 3 cute same colored cats whom were mewing quite loudly and is just so cute I wish I can adopt them all.

Above picture 2: A lovely sungai that make me wish I can dip in tapi tak sempat sebab nak gi Cameron.

Above picture 3: A ridiculously lovely view from my toilet stall. I doubt there is a more scenic views in a toilet stall anywhere else.

We reached Cameron at 10 am, after departing from KL close to 6 am. Massive jam ok. Memula rase nak patah balik je. Tayar bas tercabut, jam. Kete rusak, jam. Kete kena saman polis, jam. So we didn't make it in time to my husband's favorite breakfast spot there. Sampai-sampai je makcik tu cakap brusquely "Dah habis."

Muka monyok tak dapat makan roti canai dari kedai kesukaan. Aku ok je, asal makan. Went to Butterfly Farm. Nothing much to see, ok enough place. The butterflies dying all around was freaking me out a bit. But I find this dude looking out so haughtily, that I like him instantaneously and just have to show you guys him handsome profile.

There are similar dudes (lizards whatisname) like this in this pose around the glass case, but he stands out among the rest.

Went to BOH tea centre where the road condition there almost make me faint in my fear of heights.

Did the usual things, go take pics, factory tour, eat scones and drink tea at the cafe.

Got back, and just before buying loads of veggies at Kea Farm, drink strawberry juice and eat cakes with strawberries. Love the juice, the cake, is cake with strawberries. But the cakes is not that nice.

Then we went to Ipoh straight away and have a massive of a headache trying to find a suitable room at a hotel that don't burn a hole at my pocket. Initially planning to stay at Casuarina (now named Impiana... bah.. I like the name Casuarina. Impiana is too generic ), but the room while the price is OK, the hotel served no complimentary breakfast. NOOOOO. A Malaysian hotel that don't include complimentary breakfast is a NO-NO in my book. I mean, you basically expect it to be mandatory. So we went to another hotel, Rega Lodge I think, (not before stopping at Regent Tower Hotel and was aghast to find out the room price at RM350++ for a basic 2 single bed per night. )

After lounging around and contemplating where to eat, we went to Kinta City for the sizzling mee. Favorite haunt during uni days.

Of course I forgot since the last time I went there that the stall now had changed its kuah a bit (I think they make it more watery which makes it meh, when previously it was awesome). Next time, I will REMEMBER that this sizzling mee had now become subpar and go to other place to eat.

And in the morning, after a substantial and satisfying buffet breakfast at the hotel, I went to the pasar pagi Ipoh, which I love, love, love because the junks that are being sold there is junk worthy and makes it nice to look and reminisce.

I also looked for the stall that used to sell old books but couldn't find it anymore. Bah~! Am bummed but not too bummed because the night before I manage to go to Novel Hut at Ipoh Parade and bought 4 books ( 3 children's book, the other the famous To Kill A Mockingbird which I never read) all for RM24. Yeay!

Then we checked out to go to my ex-classmate wedding at Ayer Tawar. Selamat Pengantin Baru Pian! *waves hand at Pian even though he didn't read my blog*

Straight back to home afterwards. We did drive past UTP, but didn't stop and went through Batu Gajah to reminisce.

God, it had been 5 years since I got out from UTP? Seems like just last year we were traipsing to KFC at Batu Gajah whenever we had some KFC cravings. Now there is even a KFC at Taman Maju! Hoh!

Its been a while since I blog

Thinking to upload pics but then this laptop sucks so I need to get back at home first to edit my pic then posted it up.

Boring betul balik keje ni and the office is empty. Not really empty because boss is here. And my computer is also acting up. Idiot computer.

Was wanting to write some sorta review for a book, but I am feeling lazy so I am gonna skipped that, and hell, let me just write briefly that The Golden Compass trilogies of book: The Northern Lights, The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass is awesomely complicated, somewhat disturbing sometimes and somewhat inappropriate read for children.

The first book was a lightweight, but by second and third it got heavy and there is nothing cheerful going on its a bit depressing. There's a lot of death among the characters children included so its not the usual children books that are  happy, happy, joy, joy.

But it is interesting and engrossing. But for me to believe that at age 13, you can experience A LOVE LIKE NO OTHER is a bit far fetched. Thinking again, Romeo and Juliet was written as 13 (Juliet) and 15 (Romeo). Though some do said both are twelve then. Hoh.

Later.

Random

Random Sympathy
On the way to work this morning (at 10.50 am in the morning I might add), there was a lone lost stray dog stuck in the middle of a busy road  looking confusingly around him with cars whizzing on either side of him. My heart goes out to the dog. I wished I had the courage to stop my car in mid road mid traffic in the middle of the intersection of traffic lights and take that dog to a safe place. But I can only pray he found a safe way across the road to whatever greener patch on the other side of the road that he was heading to.

Ohhhh. I feel like snuggling to my kittehs now that I found myself thinking of the poor dog.

Random Rant
Somehow yesterday I was transfixed for a moment in front of tv showing Astro, Raja Lawak. I think its Raja Lawak based on the hosts and the weird people wearing costumes on stage. Then I got a sudden urge to punch the throat of the hosts.

Why ? The hosts was singingly berating (albeit jokingly but I don't find it funny AT ALL) the viewers for NOT voting or not voting ENOUGH of their favorite contestants. The hosts kinda goes like "Sebab y'all didn't sms enough, the person you like but DIDN'T VOTE ( or didn't vote enough) is now out and its ALL YOUR FAULT!". And you know what show I had also noticed that use these disgusting tactics? Akademi Fraktasia (AF).

Dammit. I feel like punching Astro next. You know why? Because they are using guilt to persuade viewers to give more money to Astro while the said viewers is also currently paying for their ASTRO subscription every month. It just seems like Astro wants viewers to waste more money for them to use Scrooge McDuck style.

In my head, Scrooge McDuck = Astro and the gold coins =  viewer's money.

Honestly, I couldn't care if the viewers watch or vote for their favorite celebrity wannabes ( most of the contestants does not qualified to be given the title 'artist'), but if you waste more than RM 2 to vote for your favorite wannabes, I am not so silently judging you (which is why I type this). If you waste RM10 for the said wannabes, that RM10 would serve a greater purpose in being used as a toilet paper.Because why i think its a waste to vote so much ( I heard people used RM30 to vote AF contestant per week. Are you insane?), you would help the artists more if you buy their work, or see them in concerts or shows.  Save your money on a more deserving artists will ya. This voting thing, is just a money grabbing opportunities from a big corporation who is constantly trying to up your subscription fees okeh.

Random plug to article(s) I like
You had heard GOOP right. To the unenlightened, it is kinda like a sophisticated blog (more like lifestyle entertainment page) created by Gwyneth Paltrow and her minions.

It  (at times) gives advice or tips or suggestions  to us Mundanes on how or what to exercise or eat or dress well or diet and give travel tips (which only Siti Nurhaliza could afford) on which is the best restaurants and hotels.

Well a writer is trying to "Goop" her way to the good life (those are her words), by following Gwyneth GOOP entries. I read a few, and it is hilarious. Take a look to here: http://www.vanityfair.com/online/style/30-days-of-goop/

Random pic of kitteh because I want to

Currently Kurap 2nd favorite place for her to sleep while I am busy playing games or watching series at the computer. Before this I had a flat panel monitor, which is now RIP on the floor and currently replacing it is the my bro in law CRT monitor. I had been using that  (flat panel) monitor for almost 8 years. Good times. Time to buy new one. Anyway, with the flat panel monitor before, Kurap can position her montel body quite nicely for me to be able to watch series or play games while scratching her head at the same time (very the mengada punye kucing).

Now, I can't move the mouse because she keeps on putting her butt on the mouse and if not ;as you can see , her legs will keep on punching some random keys on the keyboard. So not really beneficial when playing Plants vs Zombies ya know. Need to find new monitor soonish.

We like color, we like them a lot.

I took the above title blog line from a Barney song, I might add. That song stays annoyingly in your head.

I did mentioned before our next project on the house improvement stuff is to paint the table. The previous owner left a drop-leaf table and some chairs. Because we are frugal (ran out of money after buying house) and my husband felt it is a shame to throw it away, we decided to keep it.

However I do believe previously the table had been used as a homework table, hence the artwork and doodles that adorned the table.

I could just imagine little tykes sitting on chair with multitudes of homework spread on the table and a mother watching from the kitchen or somewhere nearby making sure the tykes are sitting there doing their homework, while the said tykes are actually malevolently doodling on the table because they are missing out on some Ben 10.

So we sandpaper the table and chairs and my husband plastered the table I think, (I think) . Then we painted the table.

And we painted the table and chair seat red. My husband then continue to spray paint the other part of the table and chairs black pulak.  Which the below is now the finished products. Tada!

Feels like brand new dan ade sedikit feeling tadika. The green and yellow walls had also been freshly painted by my husband.

Oh, I also painted the dresser half white. Didn't manage to snap pic out of it yet. We are waiting for the renovation works to finish then I can really see how the house and colors and furniture will come together. It may totally sucks as I may not necessarily have the best of taste, but it'll do.

I will rambles about books and Matthew Reilly

I had finished Matthew Reilly Temple. My blog post don't need no introductory lines, so I delved right to the point.

My husband didn't like it. He said it was boring at first. I asked him again when I was reading the book why he doesn't like it, it is actually because it is too fast and he can't keep up. Right.

Is it too fast? Maybe a bit faster than the Jack West series.

The synopsis of the book goes like this

Deep in the jungles of Peru, the hunt for a legendary Incan idol is underway - an idol that in the present day could be used as the basis for a highly destructive and terrifying weapon.
Guiding the US Army team is Professor William Race, a young linguist who must translate an ancient manuscript which contains the location of the idol.
What they find is an ominous stone temple, sealed tight. They open it - and soon discover that some doors are meant to remain unopened...

Now for point form thoughts because I am much too lazy to think of nice flowing sentences that  mesh together well.

  • The characters in the books are a bit meh. Like I said, so far from what I read in his books, Reilly does not have the talent (or I have yet to seen) in writing a character that he molded well enough for character development.
  • The action does not disappoint. The plot moves fast and in parallel with the ancient manuscript story, so where one story lagged a bit, the other pick up.
  • I do not like this hero so much. He started out too naive and innocent and suddenly he is all wise, fast acting and gun wielding pro all? I'm not buying it. I know he wants to make an ordinary man as a hero, but at times when the hero performed incredibly army-special-ops feat that you have to wonder if  it is a bit too much.
  • Both story in a quest for treasure (or one interpretation of a treasure) is nicely set and remarkable and almost believable. But the government agents/agencies conspiracy theory is blah. I don't pay much attention to it.
  • Summary: What you will expect of Reilly, good fun action book. Though I find the hero a bit annoying. But at least he is a bit better than cold, android-like Jake West Jr. I prefer the Contest hero (Dr. Stephen Swain) though.

Oh, by the way I was salivating at Borders today and just have to tear myself away from this book. I got my wish! Zombies book! Well, a compilation of short stories on zombies or the undead. Close enough.

Oh yeah, I am bringing out my coupon to Kinokuniya this weekend to see if its there.

From Ampang to JB: A Foodies Journey

Somewhere at a gerai in Ampang Jaya

Laksa Sarawak.
Decent. I prefer the Hadeeja Cafe one though.

Mee kolo. V. nice.
Better than the one at Hadeeja Cafe, though I tasted better at Sarawak of course.

Somewhere at Kampung Melayu Majidee, JB.

My favorite stall of ABC.
Pic quality kinda sucks here, but hey, it was dark and I used a cameraphone.

Yong taufu sup that is filled full with kangkung (I googled kangkung, and it is stated as water spinach in English. Really ar?)

Oh, the picture does not look much, but this is the best yong taufu sup ever. The soup is especially super tasty and their sauce just bring the right combination of spiciness in the soup. And I completely forgot to look again at which road this shop is situated in. I know how to get there but not its name. The yong taufu above I ate alll by myself. Nyam2. Didn't ordered otak-otak though because was too full.

Somewhere in Angsana, JB.

The famed Mee Rebus Haji Wahid.
If its a holiday, there is a long queue at this stall. Manage to be there at 12 am, just before the lunch hour crowd settled at Angsana, and lucky for us that my mom taman perumahan is just next to Angsana.

Muddling through the words

Gah! I was/am/should be super busy!

Less busy currently because I had finished my works. Well, kinda, almost. Needs to test out things. When I was testing out things earlier, aku sudah mahu hendak hyperventilate when I see there is no error message for a thing that should have an error message. Ingatkan dah tak betul ke , kena buat balik ke, or did I do something wrong with the code and messed it ALL AND NEEDS TO START ALL AGAIN FROM SCRATCH, OMG I WANT TO DIE . Sekali check balik document, memang betul la tu. Wargh. Panik, panik.

Good God. I can't imagine being a programmer in my 40s, I'll be sure be having a high blood pressure + heart problems whenever deadlines are nearby and I can't seems to think out a solution on why does the bloody thing could not be save.

In other good news. I got a raise. Yeay! Yippee! It couldn't have come at a better time, especially with the new house and me being broke almost every time ( Remember last time, I told you my lunch money is RM2, now scratch that. It is nada. Duit ku cukup2 untuk parking je, so makan, makan la di rumah). It is quite a significant raise and to get such amount in such dire economy when people are being laid off here and there, I am really grateful. Syukur Alhamdulillah. At least I can buy something nice for my husband this year for his birthday. (Lambat lagi, birthday die bulan 3 tapi aku suke beli-beli hadiah ni).

Oh, everyone had talked about our late Sultan Johor , his death, berkabung and not. The people in JB will most certainly felt his loss. Especially those who lived near the istana I reckon, because he really liked to mingle among the people. And he really loved Johor. And despite his 'colorful' personality, the people can't help but like him. I wondered what will happened to his buaya-buaya.

I was wanting to post a picture of Kurap doing her most favorite things when I am sitting down in front of the computer, but I felt so lazy to turn on my bluetooth, activate the receiving bluetooth from the computer, transferred the file , save and upload it here. It sounds like tooo much work. I'll save it for tomorrow then.

Its Friday!

The title is like a counter to the earlier post. Seems apt. I am coming up as blank to post. Will trying to spew some crap out to make me feel better and make my blog seems less stale. The SAP system is incredibly slow which is why I had turned to blog.

Weekends now consist of doing things for the house, so will post more if I got more things to update other than clean the damn house.

Want to lunch, but do not know what exactly I want to eat. Actually I do, but I am broke so I am being incredibly frugal by buying lunch that cost less than RM2, which does not amount to much lunch. So I had dropped some kilos lately because of my frugality caused by my 'broke'ness. Even my cats eat better than me. Sobs! But that is because they prefer cicak to dry cat food.

Before this we had a cicak (translation from bahasa: gecko lizard) problem at home. There seems to be a lot of them. And its incredibly annoying to see cicak droppings here and there. It is disgusting. It is even  we overlook to tudung sajikan food, the cicak will come and lick food. Disgusting aight? And to the people who don't know before that cicak does this, so sekarang rajin-rajin la sajikan makanan.

After we had brought Fasha to our home, there is no moar cicak! She like to chase them around and eat them. Disgusting. Some people said, cats don't actually eat the things they played with. Totally not true. I had seen with my own 2 eyes Fasha chewing on cicak and cockroach and swallowing it. Yeuch! Now, did I put off your appetite. It's my intention.

Of course there is now new problems at home, where Fasha sometimes brought in cicak and cockroaches in the home because they ( Fasha and Kurap together now) had chased all those creatures living in the house to oblivion. But of course many of those creatures cannot escape their grim future.

Ok. This post is less than inspired. Later.

Its Monday

and I am woozy.

1. Got up VERY and TOO early on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, need to service my car. And on Sunday am up at 6 am because my cat peed on my bed and I woke up because my legs felt wet. Yucky very much? Yes, indeed. Woke up husband and he asked if it was me instead who peed. My husband is a charming man. Kurap and Fasha will now sleep outside FOREVER.

2. The house cleaning is still in progress. Its going to get worse as renovation works had started today. I am starting to wonder if my weekend are ever going to be relaxing.

3. So I am beginning to be woozy which is also contributed by my crazily non-correctly aligned specs. I hope that tomorrow the kedai would siap my new specs! Grrrr....

4. Am pissed with myself and McDonalds dekat MidValley. The latter for giving me 5 piece of chicken mcnuggets when it should've been 6. The former, for not checking first before taking her take away to the office to munch.

5. And suddenly my program can't be save. Gah!

A pinch of romance never hurt but a fistful?

I was driving today and managing not to hit another errant motorcycle on the road, when I thought of something. On a side note, I always found myself hitting a motorcycle. Some are my fault, some are totally theirs. Damn it la, bile kereta bagi signal can you see that we are going into it and not prone to braking  semasa tgh membelok. Somewhere out there, there is a probably a voodoo impersonation of my car and me and someone is sticking a needle or playing dart with it.

BUT I DIGRESS YET AGAIN!

Mari start semula. I was driving today and somehow my mind flashed towards Mills & Boons. Girls would probably know it. Guys , some probably do. To those who don't...

Yeah. Those books. The covers that always have some ripped muscled men, with waxed chest. I meant those chest are waxed y'all but in the books, the guys are suppose to be macho? Whatever.  Back when I was in high school these books were hot! Girls brought them to schools in exchange for other titles of M&Bs that other girls might have. The schools administration kept on confiscating them too saying it is morally corrupt because of the quite descriptive sex scenes. No worries, we exchange our M&Bs at religious schools then where there were less 'spotchecks' .

After a few months of reading those M&B books I grew tired of them. It is always girl meet boy, misunderstanding occurs AND (little rant here) the misunderstanding is always because of the girl fault. ALMOST ALWAYS. And the misunderstanding ALWAYS happened just after a very hot sex.. Then there some hot making up to do with an equally hot make up sex scenes or at the very least a PASSIONATE KISS.

Because I am extra rajin today, I deign to make a flow chart of the usual M&Bs plot lines flowchart. Click on the image for a larger picture if you are squinting to read it.   And because I am not Effi, nor does this computer have or capable of running a Photoshop, I used MsPaint to illustrate my point. +1 Microsoft point?

So I turned to Judith McNaught, whom one of my high school mate when I was in SAKTI introduced to. She was obsessed with them. Now Judith McNaught stories are more interesting (usually the historical romance one) and she have more flair with words than the usual authors at M&Bs. But after reading some of her stories, I got a little bit, disconcerted as you might say. The cliches of the M&Bs are there but there is another thing. That is the hero is sometimes a complete jerk who can act violent towards the girl. Yes, in some M&Bs stories I read, the guy is somewhat violent and a jerk, but to my recollection they had never actually be violent towards the girl he is in love with.

In one of her book Whitney, I Love You, a hero got so angry when he thought the girl he wants to marry had lied to her and gave her virginity to another. So what the 'hero' did was that he practically rape her. To punish her. Right. In the scene, he seduced her into bed then before any warning, he forced himself on her. Then got horrified knowing she is a virgin. Ok, was. If it were me, I would kick him on the nuts and tell him to piss off. But no, the girl went all weepy on his arm. Gah!

Then if that is not terrible enough, the poor girl marry him because she 'wuvs' him or some nonsense like that. Then she got pregnant and the dumbass 'hero' husband suddenly thought that is not his baby and his wife was impregnated by somebody else. So he got all angry and violent and refused to see his wife leaving his wife brokenhearted. I don't know what to say to that except if she was raped by you earlier, I would say she deserved the right to go bone any gentlemen or peasants.

Then in another book, Double Standards (also by Judith McNaught). I can't remember exactly what happened but I did remembered that hero finding out that the girl, he is in love with is actually a liar and a schemer. So in a fit of rage he seduce her and then push her against a table painfully.Which the heroine then believed she totally deserved. Gah! Why the submissive attitude towards violence?

After that book, Judith McNaught books kinda lose their appeal to me. To be fair some of her other books are somewhat entertaining and devoid of violence. At least with these new sudden burst of chic lits authors, no matter how pathetic their heroine can be, I must say none of them would abide violence.

Though I do have to ask, why does all of the heroes I encountered in books must be at least 6 feet tall. ? Why, why, why? Okay, I have to admit that I myself have preference over tall men. But that is because I am short. So I would like to balance my offsprings DNA a bit. Which is why in my sadly pathetic novel-in-progress which is still in Chapter 6 after 2 years, I featured a 5 ' 5 hero! I mean, a relatively normal average height guy could be your Prince Charming! So don't discriminate authors and authoress! Let the short people have their adventures too!

Bah. I want to go home now

Mini rants of some kind with a smattering of ramblings

Diet pills vs Poop pills.
You know the diet product women swears by? Actually I don't know too, I never taken one because my sister would probably kills or the very least cause bodily harm to me . I know of some women taking them though, saying untuk membuang toxic badan dengan pooping so your badan can shed kilos by shedding those toxic. I am calling bulls on that. Bullshit. It is not diet pills. Or health supplements. It is called laxatives. So women, stop deluding yourself. If you are eating it to poop more to shed kilos EQ laxatives. It is probably more healthier if you eat a lot of fruits instead of drinking that tea.

Update on ME. Because this blog is about me. So I will update about ME!
My specs sudah hampir patah. Don't know about other people, but if my specs sudah start senget benget, I would be having such a massive headache. New specs! And no I would not camwhore with my new specs.

Marriage and whats not.
Its weird on how angry I can be of some other people random comments on other people blogs. Did I phrase that correctly? Oh well. There's this blog where the person wrote that she cannot imagine being married to a woman. (The woman is bisexual). You know, I never care much if you are bisex, les or gay or whats not. I even agree that same sex marriage can be legal, of course not in the religious legal POV but the law that have nothing to do with religion sorta things. But that is my POV on how the U.S system should works. Its different with Malaysia and its Islamic laws for some and not the others aight. But that is a completely different argument for another sets of people.

What I had digress from saying is, why does when a person said they do not want to marry... other married people is all jumping up and down saying they should marry because bla bla bla... companionship... bla bla bla its the greatest thing ever bla bla bla? Can't you STFU? Even I, a married Muslim person found that annoying. If a person wants to get married, they will. Sometimes these marrieds people are like a cult. So eager to pull another member in.  And don't even start if you are an Asian. Tak kisah la Chinese or Malay or Indian. Macam social stigma pulak not being married. So whatever rock your boats.

Chuck episode 3 sudah habis didonlod! Boleh tengok. So end of rant. Eh, I thought there was more. *shrugs* Later.

Cats and Mess

At first this photo was meant for my IG story, but the mess is too much. So I opted not to, and in a whim decided to just post it here. Beca...

Nuffnang
