MTV dream

Now and then I'll have a completely wild dream. No zombie. No.. it is more like rom coms type of dreams.

Recently I had a dream. It felt like I was in a music video.

I dreamt I was young, wild and Caucasian. ( Ni kes banyak sangat tengok series US ni).

I was waiting to perform , fiddling, at a bar during the twilight hour. I remember because everything is orange. The sun is setting down. I was sitting clutching my violin, eyes rapt on the stage. There was a young man, performing on a stool. Rocking a guitar. He looked a lot like Christian Kane with his long hair (if you watch Leverage it is Elliot Spencer, but to me he will always be Lindsey from Angel).

He finished performing. There was a wild applause. He was good. Very, very good. I remembered I then stood up, walked up to him as he walked off the stage and then practically I threw myself at him. Jumped at him, wrapping my legs around and we kissed. A long incredibly passionate kiss. We broke it off because it was then my turn to perform.

Then my dream ended.

MTV dream. It is like taken straight from a cheesy music video. I would like to think a better music video than the one you normally seen in karaoke. One of the many, many joy in karaoke, is also laughing at the incredibly cheesy videos. Especially the 80s one. You can't beat those.

It was a nice dream. I basically get to have an affair and be beautiful without all the hassle and trouble. LOL.  Maybe it just shows you that husband tiada lama sangat so I gersang. Haha. But nothing erotic was going on, it was just incredibly cheesy romantic.

p/s: But kenapa mesti Christian Kane. Kenapa kalau orang yang I kiss in my dream mesti bukan James McAvoy but always some random guy I never minat. James McAvoy is persistently absent!

Dream a little dream

I had the weirdest dream.

I dreamt that someone stole all my credit cards and bankcard. Then to cheer me up husband and friends drop me off at this historical place that does not exist in this world, so I can walk to and fro to my heart content. It was suppose to be some old hospital/monastery which looks that it may crumble to the see. And of course when I went up there, bits by bits it crumbles to the sea. Then it got very confusing, with images of bags washed up on shores, various semi naked people carrying knives, random dictator seizing my wallet, hordes of sick people still at the place looking for treatment and not budging from their spot even though the place is gonna fall down. Weird I tell you.

Then for a second there, I thought I have more to say, but then it eluded me. Maybe I need to type on notepad like the old days.

Zombies Apocalypse : White Meat or Dark Meat?

Did not mean that in racial term or disgusting term ( suddenly am reminded of a certain hilarious smut manga).  Had just been watching The Walking Dead and the character said something along the line of "There is no longer, white, nigger or white trash. There is only white meat or dark meat. White meat is the alive and dark is the dead." Excellent series. I implore you to join me in my zombies frenzy and be disgusted together watching the series.

So the question is will you be a zombie or a survivor? So in line with AMC awesome new show. It got me thinking, if say we are in the midst of a zombies apocalypse, how sure are we that we can survive? I mean sure, we saw all these movies that the people somehow manage to dodge all these zombies lunging at them. While random strangers suddenly shrieking, gone down, is now dinner. So why the other people who got eaten, got eaten? Are you following my logic here?

So in various zombies movies rules, here's MY probability predictions if you are more likely to survive or chomp on some poor soul brains.

  • If you are a woman: are you a hooker ?
  • If not, do you sleep around and are proud of it?
  • Are you racist and not afraid to make your view known?
  • Are you incline to be violent or had records/moments of violence?
  • Are you obese/fat?
  • Were you involved in any way beforehand in the creation of said zombie apocalypse?

If you say yes to any of the above, I'll say about 90% chance you're most probably gonna be lunging around groaning for some fresh meat or fresh meat strewn across the street.

  • Are you above 19 yrs old?
  • Are you consider as a minority group/race?
  • Were/was you a hooker/stripper ? Were is the definitive word here. Basically had you resigned from such profession in search for greener pasture before the T-Virus Rage Virus zombie apocalypse came upon us?
  • Do you work in a secret underground office dealing with biological/pharmaceuticals stuffs?
  • Are you a single father with child in tow?
  • Do you have a hero complex?

Do you say yes to any? I say you stand 50-50 chance of surviving.

What about those who stand a very good chance of surviving eh. If you are any of the below, most probably you'll be riding to some forsaken land somewhere while the sun set.

  • In a group of survivor, you are the only teen/child.
  • You are a single mother with child in tow.
  • Female with a knack in weaponry. (and moral tendencies)
  • You have mutant abilities.
  • You are a retired stripper with machine gun as leg. I mean really. If you're dead when you've machine gun as leg, you just got what's coming.

Yeah, I ran out of scenarios after I put mutant abilities there. Feel free to add em!

Life Goes On

When I was a wee girl, I thought to myself that at 25 I should be a VERY grand lady, where dining and wining (ala sparkling drinks je) is a norm in life. There would be a few movie stars personas worshipping the ground I walked on while I pined away for someone truly awesome like James McAvoy (hihu) or Cary Grant (masa die muda2). If the guy is a small country prince is even more awesome. Anak2 datuk tak main la OK masa time berangan. If you can dream, dream big right?

Berangan over kan masa kecik2. What I want to be in term of career is of course somewhat vague. But from all the movie air stewardesses seems to have a lot of fun in my 9 year old mind so I used to think I would like to be that so movie stars entering the plane can easily notice me and worship the goddess I should be. Of course the notion of being an air stewardess is never serious as I continue to be short and get motion sickness very often. And of course it was deemed uncool among the 'smart' kids to be 'pramugari', so it is entirely just a fanciful whims then, though I do suspect even nowadays that air stewardess still get to have lots of fun (even more fun than what my innocent 9 year old would think eh).

Well, so my ambitions seems to be always somewhat vague, even today. But a guy that should worshipped the ground I tread upon is always in my mind. I dreamt of love in a grand scale when I was small. I declared (in my mind but still quite loudly) that no ordinary love would settle in my life. And always, always... I would end my dream as such most fairy tale end their stories. "So the maiden marry her prince and thus they live happily ever after".

How laughable. How pitiful pon my dreams are. So years later , past 25. Here I am. Certainette not an air stewardess. Most certainly not living a grand life. Fine dining and wining make me uncomfortable. And I certainly cannot see how any movie star even the local independent cikai made by college students one, would notice me much less fall for me. And love stories in my life, though some are somewhat quirky and some are just blergh, but nothing really extraordinary happened or do not happened. So my life somewhat summarize goes on boringly like studied, worked, get married.

So perhaps my 9 year old self would wrinkle her nose in disgust when she saw me now. But I got a husband whom I believe love me wholeheartedly in spite of all my failings and whinings. Its no love in a grand scale but it is somewhat daunting in itself as new experience goes. I was then thinking, so there, a chapter close. The fair maiden marries and ..... . Happily ever after does not translate to life. How much more time do I need to stress this.

I was thinking, what is next? What is in store for my life except kids, work, more kids, more works? Oh... I guess I am hanging by the little things in life between mundane life routines, work and kids. The hanging out with friends. The weekend outing with the one you loves. The laughing on the antics of your own demented self and others. The hope of getting little wish lists fulfilled. And dreams. Oh... let me be 50 and never get tired of dreaming.

Glowing

There's a scene in the Stardust movie that I love, where Yvaine dance with Tristan. While Tristan whirl and whirl her around in his arms, Yvaine kept on glowing brighter and brighter.

I guess some glow the brightest where only the blind remain unseen. While some only those with the keenest eyes can detect that glow.

Hmmmm. I want to watch Stardust again.

An introduction...

Chapter 1, Part 1...

"Tap" " Tap..."

She looked out of the windows and felt her heart dropped a little. It had been increasingly dropping these past few days.

"Persistent ugly bastards.." she swore quietly and looked on. This time ignoring the creatures, she looked around the outskirt of the house.

Scanning the area, she quickly calculated her way out. Too easy, too dangerous, not good, no escape route, easy to be overpowered... She dismissed it one by one until she found just the right one.

"Such a bad idea.." talking to herself. It’s a habit that is hard to break, but she found a comfort in hearing the voice of a human being. Even if it’s her own.

Letting out a sigh, she closed her eyes for the moment. Eyes screwed shut and with fist clenched, she stood still as if contemplating her next move. Few seconds trickled by. A distant resounding crash was heard and her eyes flew wide open. She looked out the window again and saw that the neighbour car windows are now shattered. Her mouth set, she gathers her thoughts or more like courage, she thought grimly and went down to the kitchen.

Whistling a songless tune, she went through the kitchen cabinets and drawers. Foraging and tossing things out needlessly. The clatters and clangs of kitchenware falling to the floors and tables created a din that erased the nearing persistent tapping sound that she dreads.

When she went out, she is wearing a makeshift belt with several types of knives including a butcher knife tucked snugly in. She walked upstairs to the study and opens the door to the balcony.

Standing at the edge of the balcony, she looked down. The creatures are still tapping softly the onto the entries of the house. They still didn't notice her, she thought.

"Ready. Steady. Go..."

She sucked in a deep breath and jumped.

The recycled tale

MS Paint present, this shoddy story:

Once upon a time, there is a boy
Boy meet girl

They fall in love

Shit ensues

Misunderstanding and/or separation happened

Misunderstanding and/or separation cleared up

Boy and girl get married and live happily after

Or so they say

Not another Zombie Movie

  • Set in an abandoned school

  • Near a top secret high tech military base complete with a satellite dish

  • Zombies attack!

  • Zombies can move as fast as the zombies in 28 Days Later if they chose to.

  • The above and the below are all Part 2

  • Survivors from Part 1 Zombies attack had now been infected or still surviving.

  • I had no idea when Part 1 had take place just that it had happened and now Part 2 is in progress

  • Zombies infection had now weakened. A mere scratch would not infect you. However the zombies can smell you much better now.

  • The military did nothing but watch people keep on getting pick off one by one to be eaten by zombie using their satellite dish.

  • The darned satellite dish somehow can also function as some sort of laser ray to blow off anything to mere smithereens, which they chose not to use.

  • All this is a government conspiracy, where an experiment is being conducted using ordinary people who had encounter with zombies put in the same place to see how they would survive against zombies.

  • The zombies are kept by the government.

p/s 1: Not a review. Nor a movie. Nor a book. Nor a comic.

p/s 2: Welcome to the bizarro world of Dila's dream where monster and zombies make their debut in a weekly basis.

p/s 3: Actually not a bad plot for a movie or a badly written book/graphic novel yar.

Once Upon an ... Egad!

Do I even need to comment on the election result?

A lot had been said, many a jubilant, some with angry words. Me... I am sad. Haha. I don't know. I am a little sayu with BN many defeats. I do have to agree that a change is needed and BN need to recognize that somehow ruling by majority may not always worked or perhaps BN need to improve more within. But what's done is done eh and I am no certified observer or whatever to make an intelligent remarks out of this. However, it would make for an interesting years ahead (Hope the interesting would not translate to even more rants and difficulties).

And a little side note swipe: I stand behind Pak Lah decision to continue as PM, even though there are some things I don't agree on; what he did or his choices.

So my election comment would end here.

And I am coming up with nada a topic.

Ah yes... I am however coming up with a several persistent plots for a short stories. This usually came before sleep and ended up with me not remembering what it is all about the next morning.

It is usually of most horrible and vicious tale. I am seriously considering that I might be a little psychotic. And I am kinda of afraid my stories.

My thoughts ran full steam ahead of some murder child and child ghost stories type. Then I get too petrified to even think of it. My mind then start to conjure of white ghost child coming at me beside my bed staring with beseeching eyes. Gah!

Then I get to be a real loon for a while where I had a thought if I pen this story down and nurture it, give it a soul, a voice to speak to the world, it will then come to life and wants to keep me company. Then I begin to really thought that if 1 story can come to life, then all the other stories I had conjured up before this will then come to life and the monsters and killers and ghosts and restless spirits will always dance their merry ways all around me at all the freaking time!

What delicious thoughts to be having before going to dreamland! I then am too freaking terrified to sleep and begin to imagine of Care Bears and rainbows and many colorful flowers which obviously dull the mind senseless and lolled me to sleep!

All of the above do not make sense whatsoever. Well.. I am updating just for the sake of updating. Maybe I will have more ... coherent post later. We'll see. Damn, I am wanting some roast chicken.

Heart Shaped Stained Glasses

Can it be consider as fictionalize thoughts? Definitly fiction. Not thought of.... conciously.

I got the weirdest dream last night. It was soo horrendously funny that I am smiling as I typed.

Let's start from thebeginning shall we.

I dreamt somehow my friends and I went to watch a movie. When we reached at the cinema complex, people are running out of there screaming. (My typical dream... yeah I have nightmare almost nightly and I really need to write down one particularly disturbing one. That's for later though).

We were feeling curious and none of the screaming person felt like explaining anything. So we went in after all. It's all very blurry afterwards. People screaming. We were forcing our way in. The next thing I know, I was grabbed and taken somewhere.

Then the cause unravel. It seems Marilyn Manson was behind it. LOL.

He is divorce from his wife and so was feeling a tad bit lonely. So he felt like taking a new 'queen' (Evan Rachel Wood somehow do not exist in this alternate universe) and felt like by force is the way to go. So to grab any girl he could find, he created some chaos. Whatever that chaos is... (probably he summoned some dark evil demon to unleash their fury?) And in that chaos by abducting 1 person, that person will not be missed at first and will be presume to be missing or died in that chaos itself.

In that dream I was like a hostage where I cannot run and everywhere I go , I am watched by his henchmen while Marilyn Manson is forcing me to like him. Everywhere I go he seems to know automatically.

(Let's be warned that no 18SX nor R-rated acts are being performed in my dream. So yes, those who is hoping so much more can stop reading now. )

The dream then goes to the tedious on how I keep on hatching plan to escape but it was unfoil or I cannot go through with it. However after sometime, I manage to get a chance. It seems that I convinced him to go to a trip somewhere ( trip to the mall. Yes.. roll your eyes). After some cajoling here and there, I manage to hoodwinked him at get out of there. However as I walked away, I totally got the Stockholm syndrome!

I came back and felt something like a fondness to him. As so I stay and became the 'queen' to Marilyn Manson side. Haha.. I think the dream does goes on afterwards where people try to rescue me then I am feeling attached and not wanting to blame him for my abduction and feeling reluctant to leave. I can't remembered if I ever leave...

Oh and Marilyn Manson was not wearing any makeup during the dream except for the first time I met him after I was capture.

Totally ridiculous and yet so Freudian.

p/s: Why can't it be James McAvoy or Ewan McG or even Taylor Kitsch la kan...

8 Rules of Typical Hollywood Horror Movies

The movies may apply only for one or all of the rules. However at least one of the below 'rules' must be applied.

1) Girls. If you are a slut, you will most certainly die first amongst all your friends. So don't ever go skinny dipping with guys nor cheat with your best friend boyfriend. Or worst, cheated by skinny dipping in a supposedly public place with your best friend boyfriend. You are most likely to die in the first 30 minutes.

2) Guys are not spare too. If you are obnoxious, are all talks and thrown a child or a girl in front of you as a shield, you will most certainly be next. After the slut.

3) If you recently been dumped or someone close to you died, and your friends or siblings think its fun to take you somewhere far and remote (read as nobody ever goes there anymore) to camp, caving, lodge, road trip, there is half a chance you will find either cannibals, urban legend monsters, psychotic villagers or roaming serial killers. Girls. Go shopping instead. It's safer.

4) Killers must always always taunt/give reason why they are killing/confessional to their final victims before beheading, choking or whatever deathly blows they are gonna use.

5) When a killer chases you. You must scream like hell first. Then run.

6) If you had run over someone, drown them accidentally, left them to die of starvation or mortal wound without helping, and not tell the authorities or tell the truth. You are pretty much screwed. Karma is going to come either in the form of deranged sadness-induced dementia killers or murderous spirits.

7) Help is futile. Either the police station is wiped out, your phone not working (cut off by killers or your coverage does not expand to woods and cave) or everyone had been killed off.

8) The girl(s) always survive. Always. The least slutty one usually. But usually it is always the girl.

Those that smell oh so sweet..

"What about this one?," A tall pretty girl is tapping her feet almost impatiently, calling attention to a bunch of sun kissed roses to her friend.

She whipped around after squinting questioningly and snickering on a card attached to a huge floral arrangements, hideously adorned with multi colored flowers.

"Hurmph. Yellow roses are too blah." The petite girl waved her fingers airily. Her friend looked exasperated.

"Why.. we had been in this shop, not to mention countless other before this for hours..!", she almost wailed. She checked herself and turned her voice into a whine..

"I am dying of hunger. My legs just might buckle down if I don't shove something down my throat soon. I don't care. This shop is just as good as any other. You are choosing your damn flower now. I can't see any difference what it would...." Her impatient tone trailing off and her sentence left unfinished.

The petite girl are fingering a beautiful red rosebud that hint of growing into full blossom. Somehow, she looked almost lost amidst all the loveliness.

Eyes shining, the petite girl says, " Roses always seems to signify to me of the flowers of love"

Her friend smiled. " Then chose this one. You seems to like it.."

The petite girl just continue to caress the flower. " You don't give a guy roses, Rina. Inappropriate." She sniffed as if the very thought offend her. "What's more they won't appreciate it as it should be appreciated.."

Rina laughed. " Some guys.. or should I say gays may not agree with you.."

Her friend laughed. " People used to love flowers for the different interpretation they gave. Red roses always seems to me to signify passion. Pink, are for the hopeful. White, are for the pure, forgotten and forsaken. "

"Black?" , teases Rina.

"Withered out." The girls laughs together but Rina's friend sigh.

She looks around the shops again. Unsatisfied she called the shop owner, requesting if she have a pictures of the shop's flower bouquets. She didn't tell Rina that the real reason she took so long in making up her mind which flower would she pick is because she really have not make up her mind whether it is a good idea to send the flower to him. She prefers gift. A hand picked gifts and things she knew he would love. But the thought of the gift being thrown back at her face is much more than she could bear. Giving out gifts anonymously is the only way and she can only do it with flowers in such a short notice.

"A coward way's out I guess," she whispered to herself.

Surreptitiously stealing a look at Rina, confirmed her feeling that Rina is really not going to stand for her nonsense much more longer. Rina is now salivating at a sushi poster nearby and Rina actually really hates sushi. The thought of raw fish sliding down her throat make her gag she once said.

The shop owner brought a battered looking folder for her to browse. Going from one page to another, her eyes caught on a bouquets brightly yellow flower with a purple wrapping. Not too shabby, she thought. And sunflowers could do no wrong. A strong vibrant looking flower that send out its message loudly.

She pointed this out to the shop owner.

"How much?" She asked. The shop owner gingerly inform of the price.

Rina's friend eyebrow shot up for a moment. "Fine," she replied resignedly and take out her purse.

"Eh.. You had picked out which suited your fancy?" , Rina's jauntily walk back to her friend, giving her a wide smile. "Finally! Dinner time!".

She smiled and gave a nod. After taking her receipt, Rina's friend write a short message on the card given and handed the card with the address attached on a piece of paper.

" Sorry ok, Rina. You had been such a good sport. Dinner my treat," she smiled to her friend.

"Miss! Miss! " Both girls turned around as the dumpy shop owner waved at them to come back. "Miss.. you forgot to sign your name in the card.."

"No. I didn't. Just leave it unnamed." She smiled to the shop owner. Rina slipped her hand into her friend and they walked back toward her car.

Rina looked searchingly at her friend and voices out her thought. "Why? He might like that you know.. It probably is a good thing for him to know from whom the flowers came from.."

The earlier sparkle in her friends eyes seems to had been diminished.

" It doesn't matter. It won't change his mind about me. Just want to wish him all the best "

Rina gives her friend a little pat. "Come on, dinner waits for no man.."

Thinly veiled fog

"So?"

" I don't know"

*insistently* "What do you think it meant..?"

"I don't know. Its a dream ok."

"Well... in your dream, he is taunting you aight.. Surely you must know what it signify?"

*exasperated* "Listen. I don't know. Half of the time, when he is speaking to me, face to face so earnestly, I think I knew. But then I realized later that I don't know him at all. Much less if he ever meant what he said. If in reality, I never know what to believe, you think I know what he said in my dreams?"

"You can't forget him."

"Oh. You are repeating him now."

"I'm not. Those line. It can be a fact, a statement or a question. In fact I think its all of them."

"Hmmm. That's silly. *sigh* "I just don't want to think about it. Forget it"

" How mature of you."

" I think its a pretty good defense." *shrugs*

*raised eyebrows* "Did he attacked you then ?"

"Quit it. I'm trying to be realistic." *rolls eyes*

" The line of dreams and reality are just a thin veil of fog."

" You should know."

***************************************************************

Eh. The above? Just saje-saje aje.

Will update a more rational post later. Just very tired lately. I can hardly keep my eyes open.

At first this photo was meant for my IG story, but the mess is too much. So I opted not to, and in a whim decided to just post it here. Beca...
