Fasha & Puteh

Both died this month, Fasha 12 Oct, Puteh 22nd Oct which is today (ops.. I meant on this month, Oct, they died on 2011). I miss them.

I don't often think of Puteh because simply we had him for only a few months. But he was the sweetest cat. Rase takde langsung sesalan la bela die.

Wahh.. kete kuningkuuu. Rindu jugakk kereta ni.

Haa tu antara one of the earliest pic I took of him. Time ni die stray lagi. Suke datang depan rumah mintak makan. Lawa. I always had a soft spot for cat yang ala2 kucing siam ni. Mata biru. Macam my old cat kat Kelantan dulu.

I love Fasha fur. Susah taw nak cari tabby yang macam ni.

Masa Puteh tengah makan tu kat gambar atas tu, Fasha duk la perhati die dari sliding door. Haha. Biasala kan kucing-kucing ni territorial. Mula-mula Fasha paling emoism. Pastu jadi kawan. Main tangkap lipas sama-sama. Sekarang ni Gollywolly la champion tangkap lipas utama di rumah ganti Fasha. Kurap tak boleh pakai.. die nampak lipas, main-main kejab, pastu lapar datang miau-miau suh bagi wet food. Lipas tu lari balik.

Saje je post ni. Post kenangan. I missed my dearly departed cats and this is the way I remembered them after they passed on.

1 year

Today is exactly 1 year since this lovely fluffy tabby cat had left us.
Today also would be exactly 4 years she would be with us, if she is alive.

She came to our life on October 12th. She left us October 12th.

Yesterday I was a little melancholy and hugged Kurap and asked if she missed Fasha as well. Kurap mewed back. I think she missed me more. Heh.

Fasha was my first real cat. Actually it was our cat, my husband and I. It will become my or his cat if she had done something bad, which if you had followed my blog from way back was frequent. Aku masih tak habis lagi letak all those posts related to Fasha under 1 tag, but it was too painful to go through.

If Fasha was found by me peeing on something I will bebel to my husband " Kucing YOU tuuu, pegi kencing lagi tepi dinding. " Vice versa if he found something. He mentioned once that bile Fasha buat jahat je, it his cat, bile nak manja-manja jadi my cat.

Fasha taught us a lot. How to really care for a cat. I think I was neglectful in looking out for signs that she was sick, which is how she can't be saved because it was too late when I realized how gravely ill she was. From then on, at the first sign of illness my cats shown, I am super aware. Apart from that, she taught us patience. She was a handful. Many times people around me urged to throw her out sebab die suke kencing merata without any apparent reason. Tapi aku tetap sayang.

She don't show affection much, but if she's tired and when she was sick she will sought me out at night.

I miss Fasha every day. Even after a year, my family all remember her antics and speaks about her with affection even though they themselves yang pening dengan perangai Fasha dulu. She was an unforgettable cat.

Sometimes I dreamt of her, running joyfully into my arm back. Though thinking back on that dream I have to laugh because Fasha always run FROM me rathen than TO me. Bile memalam dulu-dulu selalu kena cari die balik sebab die keluar and whenever I carry her home, she always make that grunting sound cats made when dissatisfied, but she still let me carry her home. She was my grumpy cat.

I am trying to think of incident that I haven't cerita in this blog, but can't remember any. :( My memories maybe diminishing, however my affection to her have not lessen even in her death.

Love you Fasha. Hope to see you again in Jannah, if God's willing.

p/s: I will make a separate post for Puteh next week.

Randomize Thoughts

Mommy to be worries of cats
I am crossing my fingers and jari kaki semua that my husband boleh balik next week. Ade orang boleh tolong cuci litterbox. It is such a back breaking chore for me. People keep on saying cats is not good for pregnant ladies that sometimes you macam takut. I berdoa je la everything is OK and after everything I read on toxaplasmosis (malas check if ejaan betul ke tak) , just take some precaution. Macam I wear disposable gloves and mask everytime cleaning out their litter and all. And make sure I thoroughly wash my hands before eating and after handling them. Aku rase my hands will aged prematurely given the amount of anti bacterial handwash I had been using setiap kali handle die orang.

As for babies and all that about allergies, studies shown that having pets at home reduced allergies in children, so aku berharap tiny tot will have to build considerable immunity against them. I have a vague plan on how to introduce the 2 creatures to each other gradually, but I guess we will see.

Tapi I tetap sayang the kittehs. Macam I kesian kat Kurap who expected to be petted and stroked macam anak puteri raja selepas bangun tidur siang and sebelom tidur malam. The yowling she gave me if I didn't give in, perghhh. Howlah she will feels in a few weeks! time when she won't get the same treatment I'll give her now? The other 2 kittens is fine as long as they're with each other, although Bobby suke main a bit ganas. But I check so far, everything ok. GollyWolly don't seem afraid of Bobby and always ask for more play.

I read at this blog where a mummy (mat salleh punye mummy la) expressed of how she felt that her love for the cats have diminished ever since she have children. She said she loves her cats still, but sometimes they frustrate her and wishes they are not at home sometimes. Am a bit worried about that, macam will I feel like that? Sekarang boleh la cakap tak, but we don't know how we feel tomorrow, apatah lagi after a big change come over.

However how disturbing that honest mom confession was, I was more horrified at the comments she received at her blog. I guess the other mummies who thought they have rakan yang sekutu (ke sekufu?) dengannye, commented in the blogs, on how some of them basically dump their pets at the nearby shelter after giving birth to their child. They find out that, the cats are too much hassle, so dumping them is the only way, in their very narrow view. Some don't even look back, guiltily!

The owner of the blog pon expressed her concern over this. Like while she sometimes feel like the cats are a nuisance, she can never give them away. It is a horrible thing to do. The cats had been loved and pampered, and tetiba kena dump like that. Don't they know cats can die of a broken heart or depression. Kesian taw, I hope whatever I may feel, I can never be like that. At the very leastla kan, find a good home for them. Bukan dump at shelter.

Fuhhh... aku nak cerita pasal kucing sikit je. Tengok dah berjela. Depressing pulak tu.

Untuk kurangkan sikit je depressing tu, ini gamba Fasha masa die kitten lagi. Aww.  I miss Fasha. RIP lovely cat.

Cream Crackers Hankering

Sejak pregnant ni, aku suke sungguh dengan krim krackers. Naseb baik at ofis ade free. Kalau zaman kecik-kecik dulu, malam2 nak tengok movie la kan, so my sisters and I, will buat air milo masing-masing and krim krackers tin ade dah tersedia tengah bilik tv tu. I pulak, will have 2 mug. One mug adalah untuk dunk the biskut in, the other one is for minum.

But the best memories is always SBP time. The supper for our SBP is usually just Milo and whatever biscuits they can muster up. Ada la once in a blue moon, some roti or kueh. Usually the girls will tapau the Milo in their mug. Bukan bekas tumbler ok ( adalah a few yang rajin bawak tumbler but kami malas ni guna mug aje ), sesekor bawak mug and perlahan-lahan jalan to our dorm. So the Milo was drank with cream crackers depan almari storage makanan dorm masing-masing, while gossiping.

I guess biskut sedap mana pon, usually, I will always hankers after the plain krim krackers. It is such a nostalgic biscuit. Especially untuk para ex budak asrama yang duit tiap kali outing, memang dah disediakan untuk topup krim krackers ni. Tak tahu la kalau bebudak asrama sekarang semua got loads of money and sume makan Oreo with their Milo dinosaur. Plain Milo don't satisfy people tastebud nowadays, kalau order kat Mamak mesti Milo dinosaur. I pulak will eyed the serbuk kat atas drink tu suspiciously if people around me order. Tak rase nak batuk ke minum tu?

For me, the best Milo is always the one I buat sendiri. Boleh adjust kemanisan and kepekatan Milo to my liking. But I rarely dunk my cream crackers in there now, tak best ade serbuk biskut in the mug. Usually, I'll spread my many, many variation of jam on top of em.

Gile boring aku ni (campo kebulor). Orang lain tunjuk gamba die orang dengan pakai baju Poplook dan camwhoring bagai dalam blog entry, I am composing love letters about Cream Crackers. Cream crackers Hup Seng patut jadikan saya spokesperson!

Nescafe Milk Coffee
Macam sedap. I tempted. Tapiii...
Iklan dah merata, ko jual kat mana? Cets. Cakap banyak, bayang tiada, tiada guna la customer tak boleh beli.

Saya orang miskin so saya mencuri.
The recent issues is of course of women being targeted by criminals in parking malls or the vicinity. Aku penah victim of snatch theft. I hate to say partly my fault because why should it be the victim fault if we are being robbed? Lain la if got sign "I got money! Come , come take!" . I mean, to say a victim, any type of victim, is at fault partly sebab putting themselves in that vulnerable position is something I  find macam... tak patut. The fault lies solely on the people committing the crime.

Well... sambung cerita balik, well, I was then walking, head in clouds as always and it took me a few seconds to realize my bag had been snatched from my hand easily by this motorcyclist. Kureng kan. Not so many money dalam tu, RM50 je kut, tapi leceh la for the usual stuffs seperti kad2 tu kan. Tapi I guess cukup la tu for the guy to buy some drugs.

But after that incident, I was no longer so ditzy when walking alone. Making sure, handbag not facing the road, always be aware the sound of motorcycle, if any approach, I'll quickly put a distance between the side of road and me. And usually, handbag is clutched firmly at front. That means jackshit la kan if the guy decided to brandish a weapon in front of you, but hey... at least we try to cover the bases.

Sekarang ni with the criminals targeting car park, lagi la tak best. Tak best to balik lewat, and I guess my fav pastime tengok wayang if the jam is unbearable, bile nak balik tu I will feel tension. Sigh. I can't comprehend hurting another people for gains. I can guess how they react after they got it, but what they justify it with?

Macam dulu at BBU ni, a couple have a routine of going for prayers at the nearby mosque during the night, so I guess ade orang perhati la kan and take advantage to pecah masuk while the occupants is not there. ( That is wayy more preferable than pecah masuk while people in there ). Anyway malam tu pulak, the owner of the house tertinggal something and patah balik to get it from their house. So they find pintu terbukak, and pencuri tu terkedek2 lari turun bawah rumah, trying to get away. When caught " Maafkan saya encik... saya orang miskin". That is the same dialogue we got, when someone was caught mencuri seguni buah mangga at our house dolu2 ( when we still have pokok mangga). One or 3 mangga, tak kisah la kan, tapi seguni tu.. nak botakkan our lone pokok mangga la tu. Cets.

3 things

Husband had been bugging me to update. I told him I have no idea what is there to update.  I think I am becoming stupider day by day.

He told him, just update about the cats or pregnancy . Meh. Maybe I would do these short burst blogging in one entry whatever topic come to mind eh?

Book - A Dance With Dragons.
I read the book slowly which is something I don't do. Maybe because I get tired easily nowadays, but a lot of the time also because this is currently the last book to last me until 2015? 2019? Until G.R.M.M released his Wind of Winter.

The book is a massive improvement over the Feast of Crows, just because all the usual favorite characters are back, Jon Snow (HUNK! You can just imagine Val hoping Jon Snow would hop into bed with her) , Tyrion ( he's a bit bitter in this book which I don't really like because I feel like slapping his face, but he got better towards the end ) and Daenaerys ( which still remain a mystery to me on how does she think. Well apparently 50% of the time, she thinks with her vagina. But she is what... 17 , 18 in this book? So that is forgivable. I think ). Davos is growing on me, so does Theon. Not that he is likable, but he is interesting to read.

So the book is awesome, but I am sad. Because I have to wait forever for the next book. This is why I don't like reading uncomplete series. I very the tak sabar one. The next book in my to read list is Alice in Wonderland? I tried to read it once, but gave it halfway. The narration style seems ... a bit off to me. I will be trying again.

Cats ( well, I have to push in the cat update in kann)

I had a dream about Fasha last night. I dreamt she poops on my pillow. Haha. I have no idea what that meant but in the dream I was just glad she is there, that I don't mind as much. I also had a dream about her several weeks ago, where she is glad to find me and come running to me. I miss her a lot.

Tak jumpa any new gamba Fasha here (work laptop). Ade kat komputer di rumah, so nah gamba Kurap

Nowadays it is Kurap who will woke me up at some ungodly hour. Half the time she wants to poop, the other half is because she wants me to stroke her fur. Mengada ke tak kucing aku ni? When Fasha is around, the tugas to wake me up was Fasha. Kurap just lies around somewhere waiting for Fasha to successfully woke me up. Let me see if I can remember what ways she used to wake me up.

1. She lightly bit my foot. Afterwards when I slept, I tucked my feet neatly in the blanket.

2. She countered that with lightly bitten me on my hand or finger. I countered that by tucking in my hand or finger in pillows or blankets.

3. She sat on top of me staring at my face until I woke up. Very creepy though it only works half the time.

4. She mewed at me. That doesn't work at all. (Though for Kurap it works because Kurap is very loud).

5. She chewed at my hair. Though I suspect that is due because she likes the smell. Whenever I used to shampoo my hair with Loreal (the pink color bottle one that smells like bubblegum), she will do this and not only to wake me up but other time, just because. And it does wakes me up, because yucks!

6. She teared out the tissue out of the tissue box that is placed next to me one by one, noisily. She does not do this because she is bored. Well, maybe she is a bit bored, but she stops immediately when I woke up to stop her doing it and bounded happily to the door.

7. She licks my mouth or lightly put her nose at my lips. Haha. That is the surefire way to wake me up. Cat breath! So this was one of the last method she tried on me. Sedihhh.

I tried to find a cat with her fur marking. Susah tahu takkk.. Susahh. But wouldn't it be unfair to the cat since I'll expect her to be Fasha?

As for Bobby and Jejai. The male cats in my life, nanti la update. Panjang sangat dah update about the cats.

Android Games
I am currently addicted with playing Samurai vs Zombies.

Best taw. It works a bit like Plants vs Zombies, which is I love to play again and again, but unfortunately Sony tablet don't support it. Heyyy... aku sanggup bayar nak game tu ko tak support haa. In the game, you've  protect the village from a horde of zombies by calling forth all the various assistance provided, villagers, bowmen, priest and use special power like katana slash, lethargy. It is really fun and addictive. I was stuck at Wave 33, ( wave = level ), and it got annoying. So I reset and try to play again to see if i will be stuck at Wave 33 lagi.

I am still playing Draw Something which is like last month or 2 months ago punyer latest game apps sensation, but it got old really fast. I just occasionally opened the app nowadays when I got nothing to do and play it. It got especially boring when people DON'T DRAW anything but give hints in words or straightaway give the answer. You kinda lose mood to play, sebab macam tak sporting laa gitu. Yang buat fun playing it still is with my husband, sebab boleh kutuk-kutuk each other punye drawing.

Sims Freeplay pon I got bored because, I am tired of waiting around in real time for the action to finish.

What other game apps yang best?

I think ok laa tu untuk update. Masa untuk work time. Rightt

I miss Fasha & Puteh

Anyway, I miss my 2 lost cats.

Memang suke terbongkang kat karpet

I did not mentioned when Puteh died, he was actually euthanized. It is still a really sore topic for me, but it was the kinder thing to do than to let him further suffers through the pain. I felt guilty and I asked him and God many time to forgive me even to this day.

When I was in Venice I think my second day there, I woke up from sleep and have this sudden clarity. If I had let him live, he would die that very day. That day when I was in Venice, he would have perish in some veterinarian place and in pain. I felt a moment of peace then, for a while.

Maybe he won't, but at that day I had this almost surreal conviction that he would. I really miss his eyes and I wish I had him longer. Right now, I am itching to get another cat, like him, with his eyes. It is not really advisable, but I feel like I wanted to anyway.

However, I have Bobby now and I can't take up another cat to my responsibility. In the mean time, I don't feel myself warming up to Bobby, sometimes I do, but this thing take times. However Bobby is a lot like Fasha where

1. He likes plastic and bags just as much as Fasha. He always wanted to burrow into my bag.
2. He is so active and fierce as Fasha as a kitten.
3. Does not like people stroking him.

Sometimes I can't stand how cute he is. But sometimes I just look at him and feel nothing. This sometimes tempted me to give him away but I can't do that. Kurap actually is almost getting along with him, and I suspected a bit like Puteh I would feel lost when he's gone.

Tidur nak kena letak kepala atas bantal hokeyy. Kucing sapelah yang manja sangat nii

Kurap is the same. And yet again I forgot to open the toilet door for her today. I put the litter box at the bathroom downstairs so Bobby can't get to it, but kept on forgetting to open the door for Kurap. Thank God, Kurap is very well behave when it comes to litter box, except for the 2 incidents ( die berak atas selimut and atas karpet once), she usually will wait till I get home and meowed at me almost angrily to open the bathroom door.

Only she likes this pink chair.

As for Fasha, I found it painful that I have a hard time remembering what she really looks like. During the first month she's gone, I gone through lots of pictures in Pet Finder trying to find a cat that looks exactly like her. None. Some are a bit like her but are male or looks meek. Fasha always had this look in her eyes that seems to convey that she thinks you are a moron. Sigh. I miss that.

Maybe I need to have big ass picture of Fasha and Puteh and Kurap hanging in the house. But I think that may actually step over the line to the land of Crazy Cat Lady.

RIP Puteh :(

Puteh the sweetest cat ever, died this afternoon. I only had him for a few months, but he completely stole my heart. He have the sweetest disposition. I can only hope in the months that we took him, he got the best months of his life.

God, this is so depressing. Losing 2 cats in 2 weeks :(

He died of the same thing of Fasha, maybe worse. He was unable to breathe properly the last 2 days. This house feels so, so empty.

Today I am feeling like I can never be happy again. I hope Kurap will stay healthy. Please God, let her stay healthy.

Looking through the computer, I found this precious pic of Fasha when she was a wee little kittie. This is among the first pics I took of her.

Sigh.

Grief Talking

Muka high main string

I am still can't get over it that she's gone from our life. She have a lots of admirers, people and cats alike. Kurap seems lonesome and so she is clingier than usual. Sometimes she mewed piteously, sometimes when she does this, I imagined she is asking where Fasha is. Kakak angkat die kan. First time datang rumah mengemis nampak Fasha, terus excited nak ikut Fasha everywhere.

Puteh is now sick, and I have to take care of him and now more being more aware and careful not to let it be too serious. So while feeling like crap, I have to make sure my crappy feelings will not make me ignored the other cats.

Day to day however it is getting easier to adjust to the fact that she is not there. I am grieving is the least of the thing you can described it. I even broke down crying at a pet shop. Seeing all those things that I used to contemplate buying for her, it gets a bit much. I thought I was OK, but I told myself I would not cry if Fasha name is not mentioned, but the owner knows of my cats ( I board the cats there regularly ) and the owner asked on their news and the tears came out. That was Fasha favorite boarding place. The last time I sent her there, she was ecstatically rolling around at her boardng cage. LOL. I remembered feeling betrayed then.

Routine now changes. I have to adjust to not call out automatically " Fasha, Kurap makan ".  I only have to use "Be a good girl" instead of 'girls' when I left them alone in the house before going to work. (Puteh is being put at the back, I don't dare to leave Puteh and Kurap alone without human supervision). I sometimes found myself panicking because I left a window open (You guys know Fasha penchant of breaking out when she found a way), or left a cupboard or drawers open and then realized with a heavy heart that she is not around anymore.

I think maybe I'll tell a story about Fasha every now and then in this blog. Just so I've somewhere she is immortalized. Memory is not forever. I looked at old pics of Fasha in my Blackberry and I forgot on how she sometimes tend to do this, or lepak at this place.

Let's start it now. Now on the earlier paragraph how careful we are not to let open drawers left unattended. Fasha had always been a quiet cat. Opposed to the vocal Kurap who will meowed insistently until we break down and gave her what she wants. Fasha quietness is one of the reason I overlooked that she's sick ( I am currently feeling guilty, feeling like I could have done more but didn't, this is the natural process of grief they say).

Once my husband locked her in a shoes cabinet, just for a while. And he forgot about it. I found her few hours later because I heard some rustling in the shoes cabinet. Another time, he put her in a drawer during one night he was playing around with her. The next morning I couldn't find her but thought she is off gallivanting , then smelt poo. I located the smell and open the drawer and she jumped out of it, smeared with poo and piss. During the entire night and early morning, not once did she make a sound. She did not mewed, or scratches. And I was downstairs late at night and if she made a sound I would have known she was there and let her out earlier.  I swear my husband is not a cruel person :p . He's just forgetful.  I had then since asked him not to play those games with Fasha anymore.

The last time she was trapped, I was cleaning the house and opened the top kitchen drawer to get some stuffs. Went into the living room for a while and then I realized I left the drawer open, and Fasha likes to sleep or pissed in a drawer. Depending on her mood. So went back to kitchen and closed the drawer. Finished with my chores, I looked for the cats. Found the fat cat blessedly sleeping. But not the striped one. After searching everywhere I remembered the drawer. I open the drawer, and she's not there. Opened the bottom drawer there she was, coolly lying down and looking at me as if asking "Why are you interrupting my sleep".

I miss her so, so much.

RIP Fasha. 2008 - 2011

Fasha had just died this afternoon.

It breaks my heart knowing that I can never again see a striped cat hurtles past 5 roofs and jump down to the lawn to meet me at the gate.

I can barely think of cakes and pastries at home, knowing that I won't have a feline hanging by my shoulder trying to get a taste when I eat this in front  of TV.

I don't know if I will ever get a cat who is as smart and devious as she is.

So many things that I will missed about her...

The picture above is one of my favorite of her. She had always been delightful to look at when she was asleep. At the very least, I manage to see her last night, and even though the vet said she barely responded to anything, before I leave, she lift her head up high and look at me squarely for one last time.

I love her very much even if she did make me feel like tearing my hair out at times. I hope she had a good life. And I hope she manage to find all the bothersome cicaks in kitties heaven.

In all her fluffy glory

Update Kucing Untuk Bulan Ini

Fasha had been sick for a few days. Not her usual prowly self. She had been sleeping 20 out of 24 hours, and macam invalid. Would only eat a few bites and drink watery milk from my hand. Kucing-kucing aku ni memang mengada. So took her to a vet favorite kucing2 ni near Setiawangsa.

Puteh had been there 3 times, Kurap one time, so now turn Fasha pulak. Almost every month pergi vet. Dear governments, can we have some tax rebate for vet bills. At least this one is the least expensive vet, but at least Fasha seems to be responding well. The vet said she have a fever and gave her an injection, by night time she is beginning to get all prowly again. So the medication must have been working. So hoping she gets better and get on my nerves again.

Puteh is whipped

Now Puteh is integrating well into the household. Well, except he kept on getting beat up by Kurap. Whenever Kurap is feeling pissed and she saw Puteh nearby she will gave him a whack. Kurap tu nampak je comel, tapi gangster.

He is now a fully domesticated cat. He likes to sit near people. Enjoy being around people. Will not hesitate to park himself on top of you if you are watching TV. And he got himself snipped (neutered /spayed) and ever since then lagi la tanak keluar rumah. Well at least, after getting spayed, he never sprayed around the house again, not anywhere I noticed at least. And kalau bukak pintu pon, 2 ekor female tu will bounded joyfully out the house, but he just sniffed at the doorstep and got in the house again.

Also I noticed that he likes a belly rub. I can never give Fasha and Kurap a belly rub. Maybe kucing jantan je kut suke cause I remembered that Chics likes to cium perut Ah Beng. Hihi. If I ever do that to Kurap yang montel dan berlemak tu, I will look like Freddy Krueger had given me a facial.

Can I get any cuter?

Cats!

I have no mood to type written words because well, I want to type and complain and such and such, but then I really do not care to be one of those bloggers aight.

So I'm gonna put the 2 makhluk berbulu pictures just for fun. *at the time I am typing this, I can hear they are killing each other downstairs and I assume spreading their bulu everywhere*

What is this disgusting looking picture you say? It is a mashed up telur pindang mixed with kicap. I love it. Those who are not familiar with telur pindang, don't like the smell (the taste is not any different from the usual telur rebus, maybe a tad bit 'rempahy'). I however as a Johorean to the core, absolutely love the smell and taste of it. Instead of eating it with nasi beriani, I like to make it as snack and eat as such. My husband nose would crinkled in disgust when he saw this. Maybe because telur pindang could also make you a bit gassy and his nose is just crinkling in disgust in anticipation of what to come. Hoho.

The blurry pic above is of Fasha trying to grab my snack. Fasha have a habit of being very interested in whatever I am eating. Never my husband, it is always me. If I brought home any snacks, even chocolates, and she heard the plastic crinkled as I opened the packaging, she will run like mad and be like this.

Yups, she will sit in front of me until I finished eating hoping that I would at least give her some crumbs. Yes, I am watching Gossip Girl at the time. And yes, collar pink Fasha tu rupa sungguh mangy. I had changed it to another one more color appropriate to her (silver - blue). She was never suited for pink, but my husband kept on buying pink collar for her.

Bulu perut dah macam biri2

Kurap however is suited for pink, and here she is at her favorite place when I was working from home this past week, (besok tidak, aku datang opis). I think every day for this week, I took her pics in different poses (while I was bored doing work from home) at the same exact place.

Hoh. So sekian entri bergambar pasal kekucing saya. Kalau sudah ade kids jugak, I will make double entries, satu utk kucing satu utk anak.

Post with pics

Sebab aku malas nak pikir tajuk.

Anyway, I think most of us sudah in mood raya. Mana yang berkerja, mesti liat je nak buat keje (moi!). Mana yang dah cuti agaknye sudah excited nak balik sambil nyanyi lagu raya if not out loud, at least di dalam kepala or playing it on their car audio player. Me, personally never like lagu raya. I guess I associate it with my childhood years. Balik kampung, dozing in the car while the car stereo playing Raya songs while my Dad was driving. After my Dad died, I noticed that I never care much about lagu raya and hate it when other people speakers is blaring lagu Raya out loud. I was never sad, just I don't really like it.

So you people who like to blare out loud lagu raya at the office, don't do so. Not ALL people have the same preference okeh? (Jab lagi nak mintak maap, so aku sound-sound je dulu)

Mari cerita pasal Fasha dan Kurap sebentar. Nak gamba sebagai brief intermission.

By the way, tomorrow we will be sending off Fasha and Kurap to the pet boarding. Kesian tul. Kurap hate cage with all her little heart can muster. Once I put her in the cage, then she found herself a small opening where the cage wall had come off a bit when I was carrying it (and I didn't see it at the time) and proceed to wriggle her way out to freedom. Memula aku ingatkan Kurap tu is Houdini incarnated sudah, pelik gile tengok die kat luar cage. Lain pulak dengan Fasha. If I put Fasha in a cage, terus terbongkang membuta.

Oh, yeah. We are keeping Kurap at the moment sebab kesian meh nak buang die. Not sure yet if we will keep her for sure. At least Kurap is better behave than Fasha. Because Fasha semalam telah kencing di atas my mom's new bag, so sume orang sangat la bengang dengan Fasha. I whacked her a bit and sent her to the cage for timeout. Tho I doubt she realized the magnitude of her crime.

Fasha and Kurap can get along now, tho adalah masa mereka berbunuh-bunuhan jua. Especially time pagi-pagi, Fasha dah weng-weng nak tido and Kurap sibuk ajak main. But most of the time it is pretty good. Kurap tu got poor hygiene sikit, while Fasha is OCD about licking her fur (tengok la fur die sungguh gleaming). When we kept them apart, I do not notice any improvement on Kurap hygiene. When we decide to let them run amok together, I notice Kurap is looking a bit more wholesome and I kinda guessed that Fasha mesti is helping Kurap in looking a bit nicer.

Then I manage to snap this.

Hoi, macam obscene~!

Anyway, we all (termasuk la Fasha dan Kurap) mahu mengucapkan

dan Maaf jika ade tersilap kata, terasa hati, terkuciwa kan sesiapa.

credit: me for snapping the photos, to husband sebab die punye kamera and settings and die la rajin nak mengphotoshopkan gamba Abid main bunga api tu. Kalo aku, mspaint suda agaknyer. Haha.

A Kitty In Need

of a good home.

This stray little kitten had suddenly come into our home looking so forlorn and pitiful that my sister fed her some bread. So she stay for the past week and had been eating Fasha leftover foods (certain brands of cat foods that Fasha doesnt like and refused to eat. Dasar kucing memilih gitu).

Awal-awal datang mengemis makanan

Because I am living at a crowded home , I do not think so we can keep her, tho I do like to.
Fasha had been chasing the little kitten around, (we had now separated the kitten to only live at the front porch). Tho the kitty had also been chasing Fasha around. Macam frenemies gitu main Tag.

She is a lovable little kitten but looking a little worse to wear tho really quite cute. Basically there's a sorta eczema ( kurap) on both her ears and head. We had been feeding her some milk (for added nutrients) and applied ointments on her skin. Seems to be getting better from the first time we ever saw her.

F.rom a sad, listless little kitten sekarang ni very active one and kept on running here and there playing with everything. I do believe with proper care (vet, ointments, some medicines) she would be a very handsome cat indeed as her fur is really quite pretty.

What she looked a week later after some kurap cream and a good feed. With Fasha the frenemy at the background.

So this post intention is really in asking any of you readers out there who would like to take extra care of a kitten? It is tedious, I know and she does not look 'kawaii' compare to the other lovable kittens you might normally see in the pet shops. But I do believe she needs a loving home and I couldn't bring myself to 'buang' her anywhere.

One of my options is SPCA. But before going to SPCA, and as some of you might know, it is also better to ask if any of you people who would like or know anyone that want to adopt a kitten and if they do would you want her? And the kitty is a she if you are wondering.

And please if you do, provide a good home and neuter your pets if you do not wish your pet untuk beranak pinak.

Kitty Woe is on Me

So my fiance went to Miri for a couple a days, so I was being given temporary custodial right for our kitten.

However I totally phailed at the job as she is now at a vet under observation as she fell from the first floor to the ground floor. I was playing with her and stopped for a while. Before this she was playing around, running around madly at the first floor near the stairs. Then she stood still for a while in front of my sister's door. I took a step toward her and guess that she took it as a sign that playtime start again she went around running madly that she didn't realize the gap near the stairs and fell right through.

Oh, oh, oh. My heart breaks even remembering that horrific sight now. My brother called out "Kucing kau jatuh! Tengkuk die macam patah" (Your cat fell. Her neck looks like broken). I rushed downstairs and found her writhing around in pain, her neck looks stiff and kinda twisted. I was in sobs. I took her upstairs and lie her on top of me. She somehow twist back her neck and still yowling painfully. Then I took her back to my room and call a vet. He told me what to do and I rubbed her with gamat and bundled her up in towel and kain batik. For a while, I was just staring at this tiny wisp of a kitten fearing that she would die right in front of me.

Somehow she just lie there so still that I keep on checking if she was still breathing. She make a sudden movement once in a while, but it is apparent all she wants to do is lie still. I guess I was in tears so much that my sister persuaded my brother in law to give me a ride and brought her to a 24 hour vet. Where she is still there now :(

She had been given X Ray and blood test and so far things had been good. But not better. Her movement is still shaky, she is so stressed out that things had not improve and we are fearing she might have some spinal injury that may cause her hind leg to not function properly and the doctor tell me with all her serious face "If that happens, the prognosis is not good". My heart dropped further.

I am so so so sad. Perhaps not many people understand why anyone would pay so much or worry so much about a pet, and I only have her for a couple of weeks. But she is so precious and lovable. She feels like family :(

Ok. I am even in tears writing this post. My fiance is not so much :P He said it is weird to see me yang hati so kental to cry. Gah! What do men knows. Hahaha. (Tah2 die pon nangis ok... )

Anyway let's hope she gets better aight! Pray for her and cross your fingers! We will be going to the vet later on to see her again.

Oh and her name is Fasha Sandha. Hahaha.

Cats and Mess

At first this photo was meant for my IG story, but the mess is too much. So I opted not to, and in a whim decided to just post it here. Beca...
