Wanton Blogging

I am angry tonight. For reason somewhat known but I will dismissed it later on and not voice to anyone. But I will only voice it now. It doesn't matter. Just angry.

Just finished watching Get Smart. Funny LOL. Didn't expect that it is going to be really funny since I kinda hate Steve Carrell. But he's OK.

Doesn't it annoyed you that here you are looking for a nice comfy shoes. You search like 2 or 3 months and after much search and dragging your driver along from one shop to the other, you finally found one that is close enough to the one you want. You bought it. Few weeks later, shoes like the one you want is popping up everywhere .. in colours you love and price that cheap. Either I am really fashion forward or it just plain sucks.

I am now in a search for a nice looking, not too high nor low pair of black heels. Of course I can't find it anywhere except for the one pricing above RM60. This means several weeks of searching. I bet that after I bought it, I will find loads even better and cheaper everywhere else.

My selsema had somewhat abated. Going to pop in the pills afterward.

Firefox 3 is kinda slow. And I absolutely loathed its "Smart Location Bar", its big ass title and logo/img is preventing me from seeing the link. Well not really preventing, more like limiting, distracting and altogether just pissing me off. Not too mention that whenever I typed in a url of a site it gives me insane results and is more of a hindrance than a help. What is so awesome about this ? Ugh. It is now "loathed". Currently am doing some quick fix to get that thing off my screen.

I am tired now.

Am I THAT bored?

Note: My comments are highlighted in blue

What Your Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwich Means

Your eating style is gluttonous. If you like something, you're going back for seconds... no matter how full you are! <- totally me.. though I am trying to change

You don't really have a sweet tooth. If you go for dessert, you tend to go for something light. <- yups2. Correct

Your taste in food tends to be pretty flexible. You may crave sushi one night, and your favorite childhood recipe the next. <- Those who know me knows that I can get this insane craving for out of nowhere food whenever the mood strikes

You are probably a fairly normal, upper middle class person. You don't rock the boat too often. <- not sure about the upper middle class. I lived humbly :P

You are a tough person who isn't afraid to live life fully. There isn't a lot that scares you.

You are laid back and extremely easygoing. You never make a fuss, and you try to enjoy every moment.

Not sure about the other above 2 statements

*************************************************************************************

You Are Fairly Normal

You scored 55% normal on this quiz

Like most people you are normal in some ways...

But you aren't a completely normal person. You're a little weird too!

Why You Are Normal:

You prefer fiction to non fiction

If given the choice, you would choose to have more money over more time

You think glasses can make someone more attractive

You think fishnet stockings are trashy

You prefer ruffled potato chips

Why You Aren't Normal:

You are no longer with your first love
(I think it is even rarer that people are with their first love)

You eat the cupcake first

You don't keep up with your horoscope
(Its not even true meh...)

You prefer your family to your friends

If you had to, you rather live without laughter and still have music
(with music... I can laugh)

*************************************************************************************

The True You

You want your girlfriend or boyfriend to be together with you always, no matter when or where. <--- arrr?

With respect to money, you spend as little as possible. <-- Hahaha. More like as much as I can with little money I had.

You think good luck doesn't exist - reality is built on practicalities.

The hidden side of your personality tends to be methodical in your ways - with trouble adapting to the rules of society. <- yups. Methodical I am.

You are the type of person who assumes that the world revolves around yourself. <- My fiance would totally hype this up and repeat this in CAPITAL.

When it comes to finding a romantic partner, you don't have any particular type in mind, but you are inclined to look for someone who will say yes when you ask him / her out. <- Don't we all?

*************************************************************************************

You Passed 8th Grade Science

Congratulations, you got 6/8 correct!

I AM NOT A TOTAL MORON

*************************************************************************************

You're Pretty Stupid

You got 4/10 questions right!

It's probably time to get your head examined. You hardly know left from right.

BUT MAYBE I AM A MORON AFTER ALL

D is for Devastating

Early yesterday morning, I received the news that Death Cab most probably will not be playing at Malaysia. But at Singapore! Gah!

This cause my love for Death Cab to diminish a bit as they seems to prefer the land where no chewing gums are allowed. Due to my tight budget, it seems really unlikely that I can forked out enough for a trip at Singapore to watch them play. And of course, the cuti that need to be apply where as I don't have enough cuti for this year to go around. I mean... if its Radiohead... wedding or no wedding budget, I would go. Haha. Need I say more Radiohead fans? But unfortch, money-wise and time-wise, bad timing indeed to make any trip to Singapore.

Ugh. This sucks big time.

I think I am coming down with a cold, which might account to my snappiness to everybody around and my really hazy muddled thoughts. So bear with me as I still wish to type more.

But my mind turned up blank except the thoughts of that big Green. Nah. The incredbile Hulk meh. How I love Edward Norton and for the first time I found Liz Tyler somewhat annoying. Even though many said she did great in the movie and I myself am a tad bit in love with her before this. It must had been because I am somewhat jealous of her being all smoochy with Norton. Yups... yups. But Jason Dohring does look uncanny-like Edward Norton, which account for me to be in great despair that I will not see him again in Moonlight. But I will imdb him later on to see where he will pop up next.

But apart from the awesomeness which is Edward Norton, I quite love this "Incredible Hulk". The beginning scenes start quite nicely. And like many others comment, the CGI is still too cartoonish. There are times when it seems to reminisce to the scenes of King Kong. Now that's a great movie that people don't say much about. The battle between Hulk and Abomination is entertaining enough though end in a rather anticlimactic way. Ooohh and Abomination is not wearing any pants! Heeeee.

Anyway... people are somewhat excited by the appearance of Tony Stark. (What? Spoilers? Shutup). Not moi. But that is maybe because I haven't yet seen that "Iron Man". I may have to catch that later at a TV or computer accessible to me.

Ok. My brain is still hazy. Penning off. Typing off. Whatever. And I still have that German translation thingies to do.

The wedding bells tolls

Eh. Not yet for me.

Anyway. I am still feeling particularly sluggish on this really gloomy looking Monday ( I meant it literally).

The past weeks was where everyone was busy attending weddings. I missed out on an ex-colleague one to attend my good friend / 2 pupu wedding at JB. She looked the loveliest as I had ever seen of her but she is the same ol girl who joked and laughed without restraint which causes for some severe admonishments from the usual uptight relatives. (Eeekk relatives... don't read my blog).

Gamba(s) dicilok from Mariam's batch of photographs. I looked decidedly fat. But who cares about fat ol me! The bride looks radiant! And looked ... 10 years down the line... Sarah's now with a jolly daughter, Yam's child on the way, Nai supervising the running of a petrol station, Farah soon to settle down.

The past weekend was Fain's wedding. It was a lovely affair from the nikah ceremony to the grand reception at Dewan Perdana Felda. I was reasonably stuffed at both events. Thank you Fain's and family!

Photo taking session would not be complete without a group shots of the usual gang with the happy couple.

The above picture is courtesy of the fiance, after the nikah and makan2 ceremony.

Anyway glad to have made it to Dewan Perdana Felda as at long last jumpa jugak with Noris and her baby bump. Loves.

Well.. this is a particularly rare post of pictures filled posts, (and pictures of moi too... )

So I will end it here before I changed my mind and deleted this post.

p/s: oooohhh... got lilies. The weird thing is.. after I got it.. my throat then is kinda sore.

Change lifestyle = Hunger pangs every 1pm

I am still translating document. I had done with the German language.. translating German to English. Dunno how it would turn out. I haven't get a feedback on it yet. Haha. Maybe it will turn out like that completely insane subtitles we usually have when buying pirated DVDs.

Currently am translating French. French is harder. After a while.. you get a hang on on how all those phrasing and whats not in when I am doing it in German. But French even a and au which means the same thing is different. Gah!

I currently am being a good Samaritan while holding on to a lost phone. Did I consider to take it? Nah. Its an old model of a Nokia phone ... unless if its a N95 or N80 then I will be sorely tempted. And I don't have anyone that I feel the need to call. I am not feeling particularly goodish. But then I know that I will have the niggling feeling of guilt that will go on through the day and will spoil my mood in finishing up my work. And if you need to go to the toilet, leave your phone at your desk lor. Or firmly lodge in your pocket. As long as not in your back pocket as there are countless people everywhere who had dropped their phone into the black hole beyond where only the unclean or gloved hands dare to enter. (I am not one of this person... as obviously my back pocket is filled with my fat ass and nothing else can be fit in snugly except for the few tissues and receipts. )

That is a completely disgusting topic to go into.

Anyway was welcome to my office with a huge news bulletin on that humongous screen at Jalan TAR regarding the rising price of chicken.

That is not a surprise.

I might as well be a vegetarian. Think thin!

Everybody is beginning to get used to the 2.70 per liter of oil price nowadays. However the sight of a government car being escorted by the police dengan lajunya every morning at the MRR2 make my blood boils.

Change my lifestyle? Fuck you. You can't even make the effort to wake up a little earlier or drive your own car which
1. Makes you a lazy hypocrite ass. Change your own lifestyle.
2. You deemed it is necessary to waste the government money and resources in escorting you every morning.
3. And the waste of fuel. Hello!

God. Everytime I heard a government statement saying that we need to change our lifestyle I feel like flinging something.

I mean there this one morning where government make a statement on how "NO EU or US OVERSEAS TRIP for GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS" or "FUNDS IN GOVERNMENT EXPENSES ARE REDUCED" , then the next morning we are greeted by a news headline featuring many menteri (and the many wives of those menteri with a smug smiles) and (isn't it Najib one of em) smilingly getting a plate of food (of course I will bet my wedding finger on it is for free) at a restaurant in London.

Change lifestyle indeed. There is no lifestyle! I don't eat lunches anymore. I don't even have meetings where we are provided with free food. What more changes do you expect.

Gah! What a bunch of fat ass hypocrites.

p/s: oh my my. what an angsty person I am this week meh. Nah... I am jolly enough, though I am kinda bad tempered in the past few days.

Another angry post

Fucking blogger.

NO MOOD TO TYPE ANYMORE ! BAH!!!

Gah!

Well..

Whatever.

Am just feeling so over it right now.

Like how insignificant you are to everybody. Yups2.

So. You know. Whatever.

Training. Karaoke. Eating. In no particular order nor sense.

What? Oil price hike? Heck... you are coming to the wrong blog dudes/dudettes if you think I am gonna complain about it here.

In the middle of training currently. And am typing this via notepad which I will copy to blogger later in the day.

Mind awandering to thoughts that should not be thought of in the first place. Heh. Oh my, but still... an enjoyable way to past the time.

Then the mind suddenly came upon this dress that I should have totally buy at the Curve. Damn it. Le sigh. Maybe I will go on the next weekend. But I kinda doubt it that it will still be there.

Shit. I am so not paying attention to this training, eh.

Ok. The below is now type after training session end.

Oh yes, an announcement to be made. For the very first time in my adult life, I sang in public. Dils do karaoke. Gah! Kinda anti-climactic as far as announcement goes. But whatever. Back to the karaoke, I have to admit it is kinda fun. Felt like was in some Jdorama as some of the guys are as cute as the one in Jdo where we always see where they sing earnestly *blush* Anyhow our team decided to do some team activity via karaoke-ing last Tuesday. So there we were at Pavilion Kotak Merah.

I have to say that I am impressed by the facilities. But I think that they may had book the more expensive room which might account for the roomy room, the comfy interior and a personal washroom. The buffet... was so so. The choc cakes was nice. Tasted the oyster and I vowed to never put that vile stuff down my throat again. But who went to Kotak Merah for makan-makan session anyway. So the outcome are? Karaoke? Well.. not too shabby, with the right kinda group. But I will still avoid it if I can. Heh.

So that was Tuesday. Yesterday, the project director is kind enough to send some extra moolah for our hard work so in true Malaysian style, no celebration is complete without some makan-makan session. This time it is held at Japanese restaurant at Pavilion (Again!).Mid range restaurant, not dirt cheap nor too high end too. You and me can probably afford it, but with the new oil price hike, I might want to think about it once or twice before going into the restaurant.

I ordered the set and it come with a quite decent amount of soba and rice. The waitress was so lying when she said it is not too much for 1 people. The soba was delish... but tadek isi sangat, But the rice with onion sauce and chicken fillet. Ohhhhhh... la la.

However I am kinda sick of Japanese restaurant. I wonder why they keep on selecting Japanese restaurant. Damnit, people. I want some good nicely cooked red meat here. And no.. the Japanese grilled steak/meat tu one is wayyy too expensive to order and its out of our budget a bit.

Gah! So all this makan-makan talk and no pic to show you guys? Oh puhleez. You guys would have expected it by now.

Hmmm. Going back to JB this weekend. Have a nice lovely long weekend. For those yang get the cuti on Friday la kan.

Death Cab for Cutie in Malaysia?

Picture taken from their wsite. Heee.

Oh... let it comes true.

Yups yups. I told you I still haven't decided if I like Narrow Stairs. But some of the songs are delicious.

Am already brokenhearted that I can't go to Japan for Radiohead. Hahaha. Kid kid. More like why doesa lot of bands when they do a world tour, the Asian tour only include Japan meh? Got other countries what! Singapore! Thailand! And of course our very own Malaysia. Huh.

Anyway.

My fingers are crossed. And from what I can see in the blogosphere, us locals here are getting excited. Woot!

Though I haven't seen anything in their tour page. I did a once over around last week and the last time I seen is the Japan tour. Now they had included Australia tour. Would be awesome if I would look at the page next week and see Malaysia.

mmMMMmmmm

Oh. Madness

Its like the air is closing down all around.

Butterflies should be killed upon meeting.

The door will be forever lost.

No one would ever find it again?

Fairytale ... is for the foolish.

And I smiled. I wondered if any of you would understand.

Randomly I told you

It seems like Jannah had tagged me again. That's fine Jannah. I will think of it as.... tagging is caring. LOL.

But she also make a special request (8 random facts about planning the ultimate wedding day?). Haha. I believed this request is being done to torment me . I kid.

The Rules :
1. Each blogger must post these rules first.
2. Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged, and to read your blog.

Fact 1:
Whenever anyone asked me on my preparation for my wedding... I feel an onslaught of a panic attack. I need to breathe deeply ... then I answered.

Fact 2:
I believe in a simple wedding. Simple food for consumption. A simple decoration. A simple dress. Basically it is just simple. A guy at a boutique kinda pissed me off when he disregard my request for a simple dress. He said "Saya memang respek la bride yang pakai lavish2 ni. Nanti kan ade guest yang lagi lebih dari pengantin, mesti pengantin menyesal". Erm.. I don't know. If I come to a wedding, my eyes is only for the lovely couple no matter how grand the guests looked.

Fact 3:
Its a fact well known that whatever the bride want, she rarely get after being offered suggestions and criticism from well meaning families, planners, friends and the whole legions of opinionated people.

Fact 4:
The many shades of white, pink and brown totally overcome me. I never realized how truly many type and shades of colors are there out in the world. I am afraid that my color combination would make the whole thing looked like a color blind set designer decorated Alice in Wonderland.

Fact 5:
I always, always get cold feet. There's a thousand questions running through my mind that I can't or afraid to answer.

Fact 6:
My wedding will be at 2 houses. The guests will 'makan-makan' at another house and the bride dais will be at another and will be separated by a drain and 2 fences. That doesn't make sense, does it. Let's just say... people are were perplexed when we used this 'concept' for my sisters' wedding.

Fact 7:
I hate photographs. Let me rephrase that. I hate photographs of me, meself, I. I feel like I look like a 'hag' :P . Which is why I try to look for the best photographer. Irregardless of the price. But still dread all those taking picture part.

Fact 8:
Everyday my feet are getting colder.

CHOOSE THE NEXT 8?
I don't feel like choosing the next 8. I was thinking to tag Shima to tell me what is her ultimate favorite fact about shoes, or Seri on the fact and fiction of dadih making, or Gohan on 8 fact on why you think Kame is so hot.

Oh you guys can still do that. By all means... treat the above paragraph as a tag request.

But I need to find something to warm my feet.

p/s: Have a happy weekend!

Edited: Oh Jannah... Haha. Tis is a simple post without pics. Seems a lot... but the thing is I couldn't dreg up any fact. As a lot of things are still TBD and YNS. (To Be Done & Yet Not Seen). Also I kinda get a panic attack typing this up and my feet are ice cold. So I looked into the post bit by bit.

Thou art the moon

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

Surfed through here and there while making sure some of the systems are working correctly, and I came across this.

Am feeling a tad bit melancholy, so it seems like this blogthing seems to suit the whole atmosphere surrounding moi. At the moment.

Also am almost finishing up Good Omens. Tis is delicious. Almost finish on the tag too. Its not a whole lot. But I it takes a bit of time to think. Haha.

It sounds like a good idea but...

I can give no reason as the above title is vague as hell.

Still awake. Fingers tapping in rythmn with Radiohead "Karma Police". My mind is in turmoil. The turmoil? Oh, dear blog. No question asked, no lies given.

Kinda disappointed on how the Season Finale of Greys turned out. I mean all these blogs and sites promised of this "Big Kiss". Gah! I saw it happening for all of the couple. I even kinda anticipated the kiss George have with Lexie. Though my imagination is more long drawn and more creative and in line with the Greys tradition... but hey! (and let's not get off track here) I did anticipated it. So nope, not surprise. Nor any of em is really big or make my insides all in knots... but the scene with Alex and Izzie is gut wrenching. And that scene... my insides goes all in knots. Tho I did anticipate that too.

What's the point of this post again? Oh. Yeah. Mind in turmoil and Radiohead cranked up high for my own personal emo time (That's how I deal with it.... so deal with it).

So Yoda. Yeah. Let's give this Indy 4 some review/thoughts.

Ohhh.. also a little warning : Spoiler line below..

8*******************************************************************************8

These line of thoughts was taking event last night at 10pm till midnight at MBO Galaxy.

Around 10.08ishpm:
Goody. It start. Ah.... desert in the middle of US. Ok. Maybe we'll get some Native American history-adventure.

Around 10.10ishpm:
*pieces of jigsaw rapidly locking into their places* Desert. Middle of US. Army Base. God damn it. We have an alien story in our hand. And ooohh.. Cate Blanchett looked weird.

Lost track of time by then:
Nuclear Blast? The fuck? A refrigerator? Double f..? *facein1palm* They could make it an underground basement. An underground nuclear shelter BASEMENT that was being used regularly (ok.. prolly only by fanatic idiots) in the 60s by terrified US citizens of Russians nuclear attack and could be used in this scene which will make me forgive the senselessness of this. But no. Some writers obviously got lazy and just make refrigerator fly away from the blast unharmed while bigger and heavier thing obviously got turned into dust. Any natural laws of physics, chemistry, nature or anything that is remotely sensible is now thrown out for 2 hours.

Half an hour through the movie I think:
Yes. We geddit. Aliens obviously build all those Mayan pyramids and created the Sun calendar.

Some more times passed through:
Ooohhh. Karen Allen. Looked surprisingly unchanged. Grin still infectious.Hmmmm... Wondered if she dyed her hair.

An hour or more flew away:
Watching scenes of Indy going through the old temple of the Mayans. Scenes of National Treasure 2 seems to flash by in my mind. Scenes of Indy groping Mayan statues. Scenes of National Treasure 2 flashed through again. Scenes of Indy. Scenes of National Treasure 2. Hmmm... Spielberg prolly didn't anticipate that National Treasure was going to go through this plot line too.

Somewhere 10 mins before the credits rolls:
Gah! Why need to have flying saucer one. Why! Why! I accepted the alien readily after swearing silently. I accepted the crystal moving skeleton without question. Why do you have to ruin it for me by making the flying saucer fly!

8*******************************************************************************8

I was thoroughly entertain. I treat it as a ride. And it is enjoyable and I wouldn't mind seeing it again FOC. But damn alien flying saucer thingies ruined the ending for me.

But Harrison Ford would always be the "Now, Then, Forever" for me.

Dils Version of E-News Update

Am still incredibly bum out on the cancellation of Moonlight. Sobs.

Just watched eps 10 of Reaper. Agreed. It is getting better.

Season Finale of Grey's looked promising. Nice to see a change of pace for that irritating Meredith is a wreck plotline.

Heard some of the songs from the new album "Narrow Stairs" by Death Cab for Cutie. Currently loving 'Bend to Squares". Still unsure on the album and the rest of the songs.

Watched a video of James McAvoy acceptance speech. I almost squeal out loud in the office like a little girl receiving pony for birthday hearing that lovely lilting Scot accent.

Which brought me to this amazing poster of Angelina Jolie for the movie Wanted. Can't wait for this movie. If anyone can convince me to have some lady love... Angelina Jolie would be it.

There is no decent poster of James McAvoy for Wanted. Gah! How can this be! So puny, one! I demand better view of him than that!

Wait... I still haven't watch The Other Boleyn Girl. Argh! (How that is relevant to James McAvoy is irrelevant)

Added: Had you seen Joss Whedon's new series Dollhouse trailer? It looks like it gonna rawks! Something like Alias + Dark Angel. Oh... but its gonna be hard to think Eliza Dushku as anyone else but Faith.

Wicked enough

Finally, I had finish reading Wicked (The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of West) by Gregory Maguire.

Not the usual book cover, but the cover for the musical and also for my book. I do love this poster/cover, the way the lip curl upwards like a sardonic smile.

Love the first part(well the book had a lot of parts and chapters ).Well not exactly the first part. More like the early middle... the stories on how the Wicked Witch Elphaba and Galinda met at their university campus and how they become friends. I believe that is the only light part of the book (and maybe the only part of the book which I can pretty much relate to). I guess I like it because it have so much potentiality.

Afterwards... the stories got darker... and more twisted. It felt like a political uprising goes wrong. And I don't like Elphaba at all. She is perverse (even in her justification to make things right). But perhaps the author do not want to make Elphaba as misrepresented. More like to understand why she is so angry and for us to understand her reason for murder.

Oh dear. I can go on and on about this. The story is interesting even though at times its seems to feel like hints of the world current political situation and a tad bit preachy in a CS Lewis kinda way. However there a lot in the books I don't quite understand. Such as why does the Wizard gave the magic elixir, what exactly is the Grimmerie, what exactly does Doctor Dillamond studies, did the shoes came from the old Witch and if Galinda is really a powerful witch or merely a thoughtless one and what is Liir potentiality.. did he really speak to the carp?

A lot of the questions that plagued Elphaba and readers seems unanswered. Maybe the next answer will be in the next book?

I am not sure if I am a fan of his work. Am thinking of picking up "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister" to see if I would continue reading.

Anyway, currently am reading Good Omens and I have a jolly good time reading all those 93 pages ( I am currently up to that particular page) so far.

There are some things that are better off only on the screens

One of em is being a mean bitch to another person.

We all love a good bitch. They translated deliciously on the screen and let's face it. We also secretly aspire to be one, like the girls in Mean Girls and Gossip Girl. Making clever snide hurtful remarks and dishing a good cold revenge served on a cold silver platter. However that prude called "conscience" always win.

I will admit I am kinda a bitch myself. I was sometimes part of the group, that made fun of that weird girl that won't shut up about how awesome things are. I used to tell myself that I let a certain 'fight' happened between 2 girls because I accidentally let a certain information slipped. However if I looked hard into myself, I know that it is just because I hated that girl and just like to see 'fireworks' happened for my own enjoyment. I knew perfectly well of the consequences. Ooohh I was a spiteful little thing.

But as I grew older, I like to think that I learned better. I am appropriately ashamed if I think about my behavior then. And I felt bad for some of the girls that I openly mocked of. I am still spiteful at times, but conscience or politeness or whatever positive hindrance it might be, made me bite my tongue. At times.

And I believe that is what most adults and especially mothers should know and learned. That we as teenagers are bratty. Emotional. Could not care a tuppence of others except own leisure. But we should know better right, when we grew up? When life experiences and karma had teaches us a lesson or two. That when we grew up, the basic line of right and wrong should be at least clear.

But I guess not all people benefit from adulthood. So when I learned of the Megan Meier case, I was horrified. I followed the Megan Meier case with interest few weeks/months back and now that the mother is being indicted it would be interesting (to say the least) on how legal laws are going to approach bullying in the WWW.

Those who are not familiar with the case, the summary is that a mother was impersonating as a 16 yr old boy to chat up a 13 yr old girl (Megan) in MySpace just so she could know what Megan was talking about her daughter. Basically what she did was built Megan hopes up and then sending it crashing down by sending cruel messages which led the depressed and suicidal girl to hang herself.

There are some disputes that she may not write the nasty comment but at one point or the other she was involved. And the thought that an adult think that it is fine to impersonate someone else to get information from a 13 year old girl... it seems petty, hurtful, childish and immature. Even when I was 14, I balked at such ideas.

Clearly common sense is not exercised by all human.

Who's Saved...

I am that lazy in updating. This is the 3rd time that I opened my blogger thingies and came up with nada.

So as usual... Random Rambling y'all!

Even my random ramblings seems to me ... quite hard to type. Thanks to Celes/Soraya I am now well aware that P Ramlee the Musical is now on. Yeay!

So girls.. (you know who you are). I am single next month (I think) ... so mari-mari lah dating2 tengok musical. I think it had been so long since I saw a stage play/musical. I am running out of things to write criticize about in this blog.

I am currently listening in to Blake Lively interview. I love Gossip Girl. It is such a pleasure! And I am not guilty about it. And am so excited that Blake Lively and Penn Bandgley are an off screen couple too (even though they bored me to death on screen. But they are cutes sometimes... have to give em that. Especially the eps Hi, Society)

What I am bummed about is my favorite guilty pleasure Moonlight is getting the axe. NoOOOoooOOOOooOOOOoo!!!!! I love that show. It is ... well.. there's no word to describe it. I am now soooo looking into True Blood (I am not sure if the name is correct) to get my vampires show fix. Though I am confused if that show had been broadcasted or not.

Am also bummed that Women Murder Club and Aliens in America are not getting renewed. But I did expected it. The WMC's was done somewhat badly in the first few episodes (and turned many people off.. but I did love it afterwards) and Aliens in America just could not find the right viewers. It is a very funny and intelligent little show that many would not appreciate. Was afraid that Miss/Guided would get the same treatment. But it had been renewed! Yeay! Very cute show. Love it.

I am expecting Cashmere Mafia to follow suit in saying adieu. Though I have to say... I love Cashmere Mafia more than Lipstick Jungle. It is a light airy show. Ridiculous at times but don't take itself too seriously. Lipstick Jungle at times rankled me. I love the characters in Cashmere Mafia... oh... but I am not holding any hope.

Ooohh... ok. My thoughts somehow end here.

p/s: I have no idea what's the hell wrong with my code lorrr.... Shit. (Work stuffs, not blog template code)

Update: It seems Miss/Guided also is gone. ARGHHHHHHHH!

Onslaught

During the weekend, I was seized by a sudden attack to clean up my room. (Actually the girls were coming and the house is in a mess) Hahaha.

So from just wanting to bare-sweep the whole necessary surface and putting back a heaped piles of clothes into a respectable pile, it turned to upturning furnitures and moving boxes, stuffed lambs and bears and books and the many many bags out of the room to attack the dust bunnies. I am so buying surgical masks next time I am seize with this rare spring cleaning bout.

Anyway.. the spring cleaning is not that complete. As I am continuously distracted by many lost and found items in my rooms.(There are loads of thing that need to be buang and bills and important documents need to be labeled and simpan correctly which I simply got too malas after all that cleaning up ceased. And the house is still in a mess as I simply did not have time and of course too lazy to continue the bout of cleaning everywhere else). Seems like I have a lot of ... things. Am well aware that I am a garbage collector. I still have some of the tickets wayang from 5 years back and rifling things to put aside, I came across my old perfume. The GAP Blue 655. It still have some of its perfume left.

I couldn't snap the old bottle pic. It came up unclear when I snap. This is the best I could find. Maybe if I get a clear pic, I will put that up.

God. How I love that perfume. People used to comment on how awesome it smell... and I totally agree. It is my favorite and I used it sparingly (a.k.a hot dates .. well of course the occasional get together) since GAP had discontinued that line (or producing perfume itself? ). I bought it years back when I was at UK, and I couldn't find it anywhere at Malaysia. I also could not find any other perfume that can rival my absolute love of the smell of this perfume. CK Euphoria Blossom does come close though. But not quite there yet.

I sprayed some of its liquid mist on my wrist and continue to work. After 6 - 7 years, the perfume still smell as awesome as it does. And as I continue to resume attacking the dust bunnies, onslaught of memories of UTP days came on full attack as well. Nothing triggers memories faster than a whiff of a forgotten smell I say.

I remembered my old room back at Village 4 with its vivid color of yellow and blue, the room at the highest floor right at the corner mengadap the field and the old block of USM resident dorms building. I remembered the bi-weekly cleaning up of the room ... getting rid of the "serangga hijau" that sting like a bitch when it bites, off my table. I remembered sitting on a bed facing my laptop while snuggling my blanket and pillows typing away at my old laptop, smiling, replying to whatever nonsense that we are chatting about in the MiRC. I remembered getting ready for a night out for mewayang session with the girls and the guys. I remembered sitting in a car going out for dinner, and the guy remarked that my perfume smell great.

Oh, that small bottle of a perfume. How you are possessed with memories past.

p/s: If anyone know where I can get this perfume.... locally... do tell.

Girls Weekend Out + 1 Bodyguard

Whoa!

I felt like it had been a long time since I keep this updated. So I am back. After a not so long holiday and a busy week at the office.

I am still busy. Ni tengah sembunyi2 tulis blog ni.

Went to K. Terengganu the last weekend with the usual girls. The bodyguard ituh adalah husband Sheema yang datang from Kelantan to join us at Terengganu. The plan was for shopping and suntanning. Yeah right. *snickers* Like I am going to tan myself. Nope. The plan was for berendam di dalam air macam badak.

But it was a joyous weekend all around, because for the first time, sampai jugak di rumah Lini after planning it years after years. Now let me list the thing we did, pick it off from my head.

Shopping
We went shopping. (Duh!) That is actually one of the main reason mahu ke Terengganu. I bought songket(s) and a little something for the family and family-to-be. Also keropok ikan parang mesti jua in the must buy list as been reminded by my mom again and again. The others, well... I don't really keep track the things I bought, need I keep track on what others shop?

Eating (Every trip will not be complete without at least 1 sumptuous meal thrown in)
The seafood was delish and cheap. Gosh. I don't care if its subpar as long as its cheap. Jangan ikan itu rentung sudah la. Not a picky eater here.

Island visit
Went to Pulau Kapas for a day trip. Most of us are broke for various reason. Therefore day trip is the best for us as we are staying at Lini's house.

The cost around 45rm per head for the boat trip and snorkelling. Went to Kapas Island by speedboat.

A much better transport for me yang cepak 'mabuk'. Not bad. Beautiful sand and a much more beautiful water. The water was clear, emerald green loveliness and the sand is well.. sandy la kan. (Apekah perlu aku gush pasal pasir jua?)

I didn't take the snorkelling thingies, but I did try it out and I guess you are right Seri. It is fun to see all those fishes and I guess with the right underwater visibility, it is quite ok. As long as the fishies stay the hell away from me.

Didn't get enough time to really 'berendam' in the water like a dead log, but I finally get to kayak after several years of wanting to grip the paddle again. More than satisfied, as I realized that I am not as fit as before and after 20 mins in the water I then just remembered the usual skills to quickly navigate the canoe. Tsk. Tangan and badan adalah sangat perit afterwards. My muscle are obviously screaming from disuse.

What can I say more? It was great. I manage to buy the thing I want. I manage to canoe and berendam. I didn't even get sunburn. Semestinye lah kan after menepek a vastful amount of sunscreen and whateverumaycallit to all exposed skin. *skin cancer is a serious thing, ehem*

I did however get a little tan and it is to be expected. And I kinda like the slight tan look. Huhu.

So that's my catitan for the day. Sebelum saya berundur, saya ingin mengakhirkan post ini dengan gambar saya yang tak brape clear di pantai yg nikmat.

I look mighty short! And dumpy! Gah!

Sekian, Terima Kasih.

p/s 1 : I hope I still would not need to remind readers that my posts are usually severely lacking of pics due to me not having any camera and sometimes camera phone is just not suffice. The recycled tale

MS Paint present, this shoddy story:

Once upon a time, there is a boy
Boy meet girl

They fall in love

Shit ensues

Misunderstanding and/or separation happened

Misunderstanding and/or separation cleared up

Boy and girl get married and live happily after

Or so they say

Girls who wear glasses...

Well.. those are the one that the boys don't make passes of it seems.

That is a quote or a phrase I remembered reading from a book of quotes I had borrow when I was a tiny lil girl.

I was contemplating about wearing glasses on my wedding day. I think I heard a resounding gasp from a gaggle of perfectionist bride-to-be or bride-had-been out there.

It is a pretty.... out there thing to do. My fiance was arguing with me that the photographs would not turn out as nice. Hah, he is totally paranoid on anything related to photography. Just that usually if I would be looking at a picture of me in contacts, I felt like I am looking at a complete stranger

I am regretting that I don't WEAR a spec for my engagement. Should totally done it.

But I googled here and there a bit, and yeah... not a whole lot of nice pics. I don't know... maybe I just haven't found a really great pic to inspire me. So unless that happened. Wear contacts I must. Except I hate contacts! They make my eyes itch. My eyes are all blurrie and such. I don't know... maybe if I would wear contacts earlier. Grrr.... just hope I won't bump into any car due to poor sight.

Ugh... I am in a total hating mood. And shit... did I discuss about wedding thing again? Hah... its more of a fashion question. Quit hating.

p/s: There is this damn cockroach somewhere under my desk but I am much too lazy to stamp it out with my gigantic feet.

The quest of a bookaholic

My favorite cheap book stores stop before this was Payless. Pretty cheap, however the books are usually kinda dated. Not saying that old authors are not great.

But kenkadang you also want to join in the hype of reading a new book right. Like.... all of them are talking about this book so I want to read that too but I already buy loads of clothes, shoes and foods thus I cannot afford to dole out RM30++ for books.

I heard about the Book Xcess from some people in the blogosphere in Amcorp Mall. Its too way out for me. Manage to drop by to see if the books are really cheap last weekend (since I really really want to read Phillipa Gregory; The Other Boleyn Girl) ... and true to form, I bought 2 books for my ever expanding collections. ( ok lah tuh 2)

The Other Boleyn Girl - RM17.90

The Resurrectionist - RM9.90

So it cost all together less than RM30 for 2 books rather than I bought one at the usual price for RM34. Heeee. Happy!

I guess if there is a book I really want to check out and its quite new, I have a comparatively cheaper place to go to. Yeay! If I somehow manage to go all the way there again.

Though I did a little once over and could not find Neil Gaiman books and not too much Sophie Kinsella titles. But I maybe wrong. The website provided a list of books that they had in stock (which I occasionally browse if I think I may need to drop down around PJ again). The counter were hogged by customers which was a good sign for the owners but I did nigglingly wished that they move somewhere else (or at least ke tepi sikit) as so I can pay quickly.

But its just a minor annoyance and the staff there is very friendly, which melt my brittle annoyance a bit.

So I got my all my book raiding place straight now.

Old books, want to buy = Payless

Feeling cheap, want to try out a particular author and do not want to buy at all = Rent-a-book.

Feeling a tad cheap and want to buy/try a particular author that renting do not have = Xcess

Feeling kaya and really want to buy a book, a must have book, no where else does the book can be found = Everywhere else.

Buffy comics graphic novels = A little mamak magazine shop at Ampang point. Very cheap lor! Have to wait a while la tapi.

Lazy Part 18th (I just throw in a number)

I am too lazy to update.

No idea. No whatever. Dila need to get her groove on. (Don't you just hate that Disney movie Emperor's New Groove cartoon?).

But whenever did Dila ever had her groove? Back in 2005?

Dila also need to stop referring herself as a third person. (which I think had now been referred as a fifth person. But if not first... what is the second?)

To make it worth your visit... here's a baby. Now say 'auuuwww' and you can move on to another more informational/delightful page.

The 5 songs that are.....

The 5 songs that I used to love but are absolutely ruined to me by...

1. Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls - Ruined by emo people

This people who keep on posting this damn song or the lyric over the title of their blogs or IM or confession on how this song completely understand them. Urm, yeah. So does about a hundred other people that said the same thing. Go and congregate there.

2. Creep by Radiohead - Ruined by pretentiousness.

I love Radiohead. I do. Some of their albums are the few albums where I really like all the songs shoved inside the album. But this song...is ruined by a gaggle of pretentious pop loving jiwang 'ppl' who I swear only heard this song years after when a certain event cometh and gone, as so that they want to appear cool to their mates or crushes who loves band music so that they would find it kewl that they like rock music too. Whatever. I am as pretentious as they come. But I love this song before I even know rock music is kewl. And the repeated playing while gushing make the song .... ruined for me.

3. More than Words by Extreme. - Ruined by jiwang people.

I was young and foolish once. I like this song, once! Hey. I know that some of you have a secret folder that contain Britney, Celine or PCD type of songs. But an unfortunate attempt to be romantic and be all guitar strumming over the telephone with the background of guffawing laughter from the boys had made me to bade farewell to any positive feeling toward this song. Or any future/past attempted songs being played live dedicated to moi. Called me cold. But I abhor that kinda thing. It make my gag reflex go all active.

4. Any songs by Ronan Keating - Ruined

I love Ronan Keating. Hey I love Boy Zone and that Stephen boy before I knew he was gay. He got a great voice. Oh the reason on why it is ruined? Reason withheld.

5. Any Indonesian band songs. - Ruined

Why? Heck. I don't need a reason. It was just ruined for me.

I may have more.. but this is all I can think about and you can say the top 5.

UPDATED

It seems that I do have more...

6. I want to add this fuckin Darkness song into the list too

And why? Why not? Tell me the hell why not? Anybody? Ugh

p/s: {edited out due to own reason not wanting to disclose} Hahaha. Ah, come on. Blog is created for pent up emotion per...

Not another Zombie Movie

  • Set in an abandoned school

  • Near a top secret high tech military base complete with a satellite dish

  • Zombies attack!

  • Zombies can move as fast as the zombies in 28 Days Later if they chose to.

  • The above and the below are all Part 2

  • Survivors from Part 1 Zombies attack had now been infected or still surviving.

  • I had no idea when Part 1 had take place just that it had happened and now Part 2 is in progress

  • Zombies infection had now weakened. A mere scratch would not infect you. However the zombies can smell you much better now.

  • The military did nothing but watch people keep on getting pick off one by one to be eaten by zombie using their satellite dish.

  • The darned satellite dish somehow can also function as some sort of laser ray to blow off anything to mere smithereens, which they chose not to use.

  • All this is a government conspiracy, where an experiment is being conducted using ordinary people who had encounter with zombies put in the same place to see how they would survive against zombies.

  • The zombies are kept by the government.

p/s 1: Not a review. Nor a movie. Nor a book. Nor a comic.

p/s 2: Welcome to the bizarro world of Dila's dream where monster and zombies make their debut in a weekly basis.

p/s 3: Actually not a bad plot for a movie or a badly written book/graphic novel yar.

Tis Cold Today While Sunshiny Outside

So that my friend is my weather report of the day.

The server is not doing its job properly. So... I can't enter the system we are working on. I can't go in SAP system for thingies. I can't basically do anything except blog. (Like I really work anyway)

A great day indeed.

Let's recount what I did in the weekend.

I went to Saisaki last Friday night for some Japanese buffet. I declared then by the end of the dinner, while doing some breathing exercises as to keep myself from vomiting due to overeating (heh), that I would not set foot to another Japanese buffet again. But after a few days when my stomach and appetite is back to normal, I guess it is quite all right to go back again. I am still lamenting the fact that I missed the baby octopuses. Gah! I was waiting for that and I forgot all about it after seeing the long array of sushi, tempuras and teppayakis ( my favorites).

The weekend was filled with guests to see the new baby. I was bone tired. My tapak kaki are tired from all those climbing up and down the stairs to get baby things or other errands and various other necessities that need for me to be in and out of the kitchen and house. My back actually aches that I winced in pain whenever I need to lean forward a bit. I am having osteoporosis in a ripe old age of 25.

The baby just got out from hospital and yesterday together with him (the little wee) , I had to also jemur myself in the sun. Bawak jalan2 out in the sun for the age old cure of 'demam kuning'. Today lah baru terpikir sepatutnyer letak je dalam kereta while I can languish in the aircond and the sound of the radio. Heee.

Last weekend since Gohan insisted, hehe.. the 4 "tertop" telah pon menjamu laksa johor, nasi lemak dan pelbagai jenis juadah in Sabtu. Well, its also for the other guests that came to see the baby. So tumpang sekaki la menjamu, right. It feel just like raya. Guests. Families that rarely seen. Heh. Laksa Johor. Dish washing incessantly. Yups. Memang like raya.

Thus I wake up on Monday feeling like .... I had worked a 5 days week. (Nampak sangat pemalas).

Hehe... I have no idea what to contribute. Later.

Introducing a spanking brand new baby boy that the stork had just brought in today.

Preparations Pbbtthh

I got no work. Its raining. I am cold. I am sitting next to the pantry where every footstep is a deafening noise.

I want to complain!!! Naturally.

Its about my wedding prep. And I promised I won't complain much after this. And I won't blog much about the wedding preparation. Biar surprise. Though I doubt it is much of a surprise to my friends who have to hear to the tiniest of details. Tima kasih la Sheema and Lini kerna slalu dengar aku bitchin regarding wedding preparation.

The money is pouring out. I am on a strict diet (but tidak makin kurus. Makin gemok adalah. Stress eating kut?) due to my lack of monetary funds. No money to buy fun things = Very Sad Dila. So quit asking me to belanja la. I might just bite your head off.

My fiance adalah cepat stress apabila I talk to him regarding need to call this or that or need to do this or that. Gah!

I loathe people who gives advice AFTER I made a decision. OR People who wanted to advise me on certain things when I had informed that I wanted this to be done a certain way. I am stubborn mule. No matter how lovely it looks to your eyes, I will cringe whenever I see it. My wedding. Kalo nak sangat that thing to be done your way of loveliness, then get married yourself.

I got a headache whenever I mentioned the color of my wedding. They will go like "eh?" "really ar" "not dull ke" or "what about this color". First of all. I had dead set on the color. Second of all. It can be anything. If people wanted to ask me regarding freaking color theme of my wedding or what color is certain thing going to be, I am going to say "UNITED COLOR OF BENETTON" . Anything goes. Ikut suke aku. Perlu ke aku ulang? MY FREAKING WEDDING.

Family members. I don't know how it happened. I think those who are married will completely understand. And for those yang single and planning to one day, let me warn eh.... things would not go your way at all. One day you are planning for this kind of flower, the next day 8 family members (directly related or 2 or 3 remove) will vetoed you of your decisions while you meekly sit at corner twiddling the tip of a cushion while nodding and murmuring in agreement. Takpe. Kalau anyone will bitch that may wedding is not that pretty.. I will just salahkan orang lain. Or maybe you yourself.

That paragraph above is a complete opposite to the paragraphs before that. Hence the stress blog posting.

Baru bulan 3. My wedding is on bulan 11 (dearest friends and acquaintances, please clear your schedule around November eh ). But OK. At least if I am stressing out so early, mungkin tak gelabah by bulan 10. Tidak?

Lazy Part Tah Berapa

Laziness pervades.

Various aches and pains.

One eye continuously to be red. Maybe something wrong on how I apply make up. Or clean em.

Still no baby. Nephew I meant. Anticipating one... any moments now.

Gotten a bit lazy playing Sims Hospital. But by God, I will finish em. Have been playing it on and off for 7 years and still didn't finish it. Due to various reasons.

Still haven't watched 27 Dresses. Planning to.

It is raining all the time. Freaking cold. Make you want to lie around all the time.

Seen Water Horse. DVD. Pretty good quality. Nice story. Kinda cheesy though.

This is a filler post if you still hadn't gotten that yet.

Vices and Versus

For the first time ever in yearsss. I managed to watch an hour long drama Melayu and be thoroughly entertained. In a good way!

Now.. I do not know if this very rare occurrence take place due to Effi's MBI or his insult on my BM (LOL), or the dry up of series in the La La Land, but I found myself transfixed in front of the idiot box.

Oh the cerita? Its Vice Versa. And its just my luck to watch it on the first episode.

Taken from TV3 site, the sypnopsis:
Couple dynamics is given a whole new meaning in vice Versa. Things get interesting when the men get together..but that's nothing compared to when the ladies start talking when they meet. Perspective matters at the micro level as well as in the big picture. And when it comes to men and women, perspective is rarely the same.

Kinda like Lipstick Jungle, but with less the gloss and glamour and the added perspective of men. Actually its an interesting concept. The first half an hour, they show the women side of things, em bitching about men, basically what their say. Then the next half an hour, they show the men bitching and thoughts and stories which correlates with the event on the first half an hour, only looking on from their perspective.

I may even watch again. Gasp! My sister shouted at her husband that I am enamored with a Malay drama and I refused to budge in front of the TV. Basically making fun of me. I may never hear the last of it especially if my brother get hold of this fact. (The bro whom I love to torment with the theme song of "Gerak Khas". He is in absolute denial that he had ever argued with me years dahulu in the matter of him wanted to watch GK while I was watching Friends, which was in the same time slot)

I do however have some 'thorns' with some of the thing in this story, that seems persistently to be in almost every typical Malay drama. Grrr...

The script is still cringe worthy at times. But hey! I don't cringe as much as others. And to be fair some English series also have pretty cringey moments and lines.

Orange juice. I don't know if anyone else notice this, but almost all drama Melayu, in the restaurant scene ke ape ke... the drink of choice is always... always... freaking orange juice. I think this reason alone is why I abhor ordering orange juice. And don't think you Vice Versa can get away with this, since I could see briefly an orange juice the main character had with her meal.

When they dine, it is always at some swanky restaurant where there are very little people, with real cloth napkin, and 2 tablecloths. I totally get if you are on date or meeting a client, for dinner. Tapi lunch hour? For chit chatting?

Office yang... do not look much of any offices I ever encountered upon. I won't give so much crap on this since prolly my encounters with offices are only limited to boring depts only. Maybe filming company office does look swanky, clean, no files everywhere, have leather chair, lots of space and some exotic looking standing lamp to boot. But when would I get an office in a drama Melayu that look like any other crap offices that I seen so far?

The business dealings. Come on drama Melayu scriptwriters. Jangan malas2. Take pride in your work. We always get that Character A are handling some sorts of business. What kind of business? Why does these deals needs to be done in overseas? What kind of clients? Who are your mysterious clients? If you are doing a 'cerita' regarding career woman, a little insight on the career would be mighty helpful.

The argument between parents done in front of children. Now. To be fair again, this might be a part of the story on how parents should NOT argue in front of the children. But adalah cara ditunjukkan like its freaking okay for a parent to argue in front of their children pasal child support and on how the father is a lazy bum. Ini sampai anaknya tidak lalu makan roti canai la oi mengenangkan bapaknye tadek duit. I do hope they address this problem, which that its never OK to argue in front of your children. Inilah punca2 relationship and trust issues ok. And so I will wait for several episodes more before bitching on this again.

Well... these are the sorts of discrepancies that I found irritating in most Malay cerita or redundant and seems to be also prevalent in this one.

But I am also a kind and generous ruler criticizer. I will admit that
  • The story is engaging
  • The script is better than the usual craps
  • The actors and actresses are a great batch of talents.
  • Its funny that Aziz M Osman and Nur Aliah Lee are willing to play the part of the divorced couple. They seems to do it in great fun too
  • The fresh new outlook
  • The theme song and the 'joget' by the actresses at the beginning is so terrible and corny and not to be taken seriously that its enjoyably watchable

p/s: Egad! A blogworthy sorts of history where I posted a recap regarding Malay drama? Wow!

Only Six

I read this post from Vincent earlier this morning. Then as I browse the articles in the StarOnline, I came across this.

A 6 words memoir.

To quote Smith, " Everyone has a story. Can you tell yours in six words? "

After finishing up my puny works, I opened up .doc and began to think and type and backspacing and type and highlighting and deleting and typing.

They said be honest. But be honest in just 6 words.

After several more of this backspacing, and typing and deleting. The .doc now only have 2 lines.

Lemme cheat a bit. Between the 2 alternatives, I believe one if the line is not really a story. I looked at it and think, this is only a description of me, which is....

Am a ventriloquist without a dummy.

So ... what is my real story?

Constantly dreaming. Never reaching. Always pondering.

Summed me up pretty nicely aight. Now, what's yours six words story?

Pointless

I am thinking hard. Its hard for me to find a really .... one opinion post... I meant you know. Type a story about jelly beans. JUST jelly beans, without getting off base and telling tall tales of bugs on the next paragraph.

I am used to the idea of my blog as a free expression of my mind as so I pity you my readers in asking you to read my thoughts as they jump from one place to the others. Also I do not have any witty post... to entertain y'all.

Whatever. Some of you are still sticking around for God's know what reason. Haha. But I do thank you for being my visitors and even to some that are my silent visitors.

Now.. the above paragraphs are actually me warming up to writing. Usually by this time my slow acting brain would had conceived a feeble plot for a blog post. Alas my feeble brain today failed you and me.

So now. You are left with this pointless post. Maybe you readers can give me suggestions or asked me what you want to know. But I shuddered at your suggestions before (ceritakan pasal my exes !! my many exes!! ..... now as amusing as that for an entertaining read... I still feel a little bit of respect to em and of course tis too embarrassing for me. And one or two of em might be even reading this blog. Ops.. and I may had slipped a story or two about em before) and I might not like some of your questions. Prolly I as a M'sian blog administrator, inadvertently mengamalkan dasar2 hipokrit Malaysia in moderating my posts and comments. Maybe. Still... my blog aight, my territory.

So... are you still reading readers? Maybe I am typing this alone... and no one is reading this anymore past the several pointless paragraphs. Not worrying. I would not waste your time nor mine any longer.

On a bright side, if I feel like it, I might post again later tonight.

Once Upon an ... Egad!

Do I even need to comment on the election result?

A lot had been said, many a jubilant, some with angry words. Me... I am sad. Haha. I don't know. I am a little sayu with BN many defeats. I do have to agree that a change is needed and BN need to recognize that somehow ruling by majority may not always worked or perhaps BN need to improve more within. But what's done is done eh and I am no certified observer or whatever to make an intelligent remarks out of this. However, it would make for an interesting years ahead (Hope the interesting would not translate to even more rants and difficulties).

And a little side note swipe: I stand behind Pak Lah decision to continue as PM, even though there are some things I don't agree on; what he did or his choices.

So my election comment would end here.

And I am coming up with nada a topic.

Ah yes... I am however coming up with a several persistent plots for a short stories. This usually came before sleep and ended up with me not remembering what it is all about the next morning.

It is usually of most horrible and vicious tale. I am seriously considering that I might be a little psychotic. And I am kinda of afraid my stories.

My thoughts ran full steam ahead of some murder child and child ghost stories type. Then I get too petrified to even think of it. My mind then start to conjure of white ghost child coming at me beside my bed staring with beseeching eyes. Gah!

Then I get to be a real loon for a while where I had a thought if I pen this story down and nurture it, give it a soul, a voice to speak to the world, it will then come to life and wants to keep me company. Then I begin to really thought that if 1 story can come to life, then all the other stories I had conjured up before this will then come to life and the monsters and killers and ghosts and restless spirits will always dance their merry ways all around me at all the freaking time!

What delicious thoughts to be having before going to dreamland! I then am too freaking terrified to sleep and begin to imagine of Care Bears and rainbows and many colorful flowers which obviously dull the mind senseless and lolled me to sleep!

All of the above do not make sense whatsoever. Well.. I am updating just for the sake of updating. Maybe I will have more ... coherent post later. We'll see. Damn, I am wanting some roast chicken.

I am so glad tomorrow is Election day

because:

1. The newspaper will go back to report the usual morbid story of rape, killers, murders, robberies and grandma sending snatch thieves to hospital *kowtow to grandma* rather than the fake-smile bakal wakil and whatever shaking hands with orang kampung or reports on how utterly 'rawkin' Malaysia is.

2. I am tired of everyone voicing out their election thoughts. Sorry Effi, *grins*; but too many blogs are telling people who to vote or not to vote or why they are voting or not voting... or Govt sucks or the Govt is the power that should be... or .. I can go on and on and you can bet if you click any Malaysian's blogspot link, 1 out of 3 blogs you will find one of these topics... that I am like.. Gah! It got so tedious that I am thinking of all these talk are beginning to reminisce of 'kedai kopi' talk with no action.

But... if they think they are great, BN sucks and Opposition parties sucks more ... do like another grandma (I am however amazed and a lil doubtful on why she did this.. yeah I couldn't be arsed to read nor watch the whole thing. But still how amazing grandmas are nowadays.) .Also, I know, I know. Their blog. Their say. But my blog my say also what. Hah!

3. No more false promises. We can continue to live in our drab, complaining but expensive existence.

4. The goddamn posters are getting on my nerves. I have to walk around in circles at time to find a way out of these monstrosities of mountainous posters.... (I wish I took a picture to prove this point).

5. The sleep inducing commercials of people of various races telling how ... I don't know what they are informing actually since its the Most. Boring. Commercial. Ever. People just sit on a chair at study or living room. And talk. I was comatose with boredom to really hear what they are saying. Is this the same person behind the really boring commercial with MAS recently? Its the same concept of people sitting and talking about their experience that at first I thought they are talking about the airline. Fire that team!

p/s: will not be looking forward after the election for 1 thing. The inevitable increase in everyday price, no matter who won.

p/s: No hols? To make up for my impending encounter with the asses of many cars in NS highway?

Writing for Dummies

I am reading Neil Gaiman again. Smoke and Mirrors. A collection of his short stories. I never really liked short stories. I prefer to read short stories online. But his are particularly delicious and also sometimes scared me a little whenever I am tucking myself into bed. (Note to self: Don't read scary books before going to bed) . I might just buy another Neil Gaiman short stories M for Magic (is that right Jannah and Gon?)

Also there is not a writer in the world that can inspired me to write something down. He did tho. I am afraid I might unintentionally copied his style as am too amateurish to have a particular style (or perhaps talent). However.... the writing is all up in my head. I can't seem to find the time nor the heart to really sit down and write out the events that transpired through my head.

Thus I am convinced that I can never be a writer. Too pemalas and it takes such times and various brain waves (Let's not forgetting talent yar).

My days are spent gazing at computer for far too long that the thought of plunking down somewhere and typing... well it makes me just long for bed. Oh. Today I am not feeling that sleepy compared to yesterday and the day before that. I am however grumpy.

Idle chat is so not me so early in the morning. I will usually grunt with eyes half close whenever people talking to me.

What's the point of the pic above? The cat or the motorcycle? Or would I came up with some witty LOL line KITTEHZ WANT RIDE (what is the dratted site the one Zye like to go to :P) ?

I don't know but I just find it cute. Shoot me. I'm a girl.

Cats and Mess

At first this photo was meant for my IG story, but the mess is too much. So I opted not to, and in a whim decided to just post it here. Beca...
