Random Ramblings on Monday

Am feeling terribly uninspired at the moment. Because it is Monday?

Bought Fables Vol. 4. Yeay! Finished Neil Gaiman The Dream Hunter, Yeay too ! The tale is really lovely and bittersweet.

Also finished Harriet the Spy. Pretty great. Not your usual fare of childhood story and the correlating morality that always come attached to it.

Went to KLCC on Saturday as my husband was feeling generous and wants to buy the above Fables for me. Then went out with my friends on Saturday night for a movie (Night at the Museum 2. Meh). And on Sunday went to Azie's house at Rawang for a lil visit to the new mother and daughter. Then teman my husband to pick up his sister who is coming here for her graduation. Hence, the events on weekend.

I am still feeling blah and sakit perut la plak. Hoh!

Yeah, still not feeling too la-di-da. Later.

night at the museum is meh?

i missed the first one so i am giving this one a pass also. saving the dosh for John Connor!! gaaaaaaaaaaa!! can't wait

Night at the Museum 2, is just barely OK. The first one was surprisingly tolerable and quite fun. But the 2nd one is, not that funny and some of the jokes are kinda lame and pissing me off.

(I heard Terminator Salvation also kinda lame. But still going to watch it. )

New arrival

I have delivered a healthy baby boy! Currently am dealing with all the new stuffs associated with new mother, breastfeeding woes, sleepless night, murderous tendencies at 3am towards little one. So a bit late in updating. In short, I gave birth to this little bundle of cuteness at 5.37pm on the 3rd of August 2012 on my 38th weeks. Unexpected ( somewhat ) delivery ni, as I have to be induced and later gave birth to him via c-section. EDD 14th Aug, and sepatutnye also I was suppose to be induce today instead last week, tapi mende nak jadi. As long as semua selamat. Anyhow will update more later. In cat news, Bobby kena stay at the vet due to lung infection. :( Sedihhh. Hope he gets better soon. Tak tahu how it happened, but it does and hope kucing lain tak kena.

From Ampang to JB: A Foodies Journey

Somewhere at a gerai in Ampang Jaya   Laksa Sarawak.  Decent. I prefer the Hadeeja Cafe one though.  Mee kolo. V. nice.  Better than the one at Hadeeja Cafe, though I tasted better at Sarawak of course. Somewhere at Kampung Melayu Majidee, JB.   My favorite stall of ABC. Pic quality kinda sucks here, but hey, it was dark and I used a cameraphone.   Yong taufu sup that is filled full with kangkung (I googled kangkung, and it is stated as water spinach in English. Really ar?) Oh, the picture does not look much, but this is the best yong taufu sup ever. The soup is especially super tasty and their sauce just bring the right combination of spiciness in the soup. And I completely forgot to look again at which road this shop is situated in. I know how to get there but not its name. The yong taufu above I ate alll by myself. Nyam2.
