In the 80s: We used to play...

The second part commence.

The first part: In the 80s: We used to eat

Nope. Never played this. Though I do like to pick up these toys from the floor or by the road. Sometimes I would imagine if my father would looked like this ( My late father was in the army) There is always these toy soldier toys lying around everywhere back in the days. Painful when trodden upon. Ugh.

I used marbles for congkak. I love the sounds it make when there is only one or two marbles being dropped into the holes. I kinda missed playing congkak. Would love to play it again.

Didn't play with this type of cards either.

Tapi kad ini saya layan. I still love playing this. Especially with my brother. He likes boardgames and cards. The fiance sometimes have to layan me and played with Boggles. He usually lose. Which is why he rather reluctant to play Boggles with me nowadays.

Remembered the times when you valiantly tried to do all those yoyo tricks you saw on TV?

It frustrated me to no end and by the end of the day, I declared that my piece of yoyo must be cheap and crap, therefore do not have the same 'power' as those the one in TV.

I like the first one as it stings when you shoot someone. *gleeful*

The second one kinda sucks as the suction does not work. ( Heh. That is a contradiction) We used it for reenactment of various TVs shows and ads, by sticking the suction on somebody forehead. THEN we pretended to shoot at em. Lame.

My sisters used to have this. My eldest sister then always made sure that her toys is in pristine condition. She said when they gave it all to me, I would most certainly break it or jadi ranap.

Super Mario! We would memorized where all the hidden bricks and gold are. The furthest I got is Level 8

The Western Bar thing... I only remembered playing the Sega one.

I can't remember what's it called. But basically we buy this little tube inside which have this rubbery stuff and put a bit at the end of the 'straw' provided and blow in the straw to create as what the picture depicted. How I love that. Making it to different shape, large and small.

The inane Ding dong and Tora toys. Like I said before, I was never a fan of them, and I always think it is lousy. But I remembered thinking that I wouldn't mind it too because all other kids wants one. Peer pressure at its best! But I have to say I never bought the stuff with my tiny allowance.

Of all the lousy and excellent toys in the list. This is the best! It is free (just shred the middle papers of your exercise book) and we just made up anything to put in there. Its kinda like "Make Your Own Adventures". Except much shorter and very silly. Girls usually put things on who do you like and what you like and if you are pretty. And the girls would usually coloured the paper nicely to make it much more presentable.

Eh... I don't play rock, paper, scissors as a game. More like penentuan. Who is going to go first. But come to think about, I did like to play this with my brother. Though he always maintain that 'pistol' sign is absolutely legit in this game.

I don't play this. These are guysss stuffssss.

The paper plane only did it in class when extremely bored.

Even today, I like to blow bubbles. Like to see children played with them. And it is also oh so pretty. I always nearly stop whenever I see someone blowing bubbles ( you know the salesman yang menjual pistol bubbles tu di tepi jalan-jalan yang sesak). It is just so pretty to gawk at.

Teng-Teng. It makes me wonder if my nieces and nephews would know of this when they get to be 8 and 9 years old. Apart from the usual plane 'design', we also berlumba-lumba to invent other's design for Teng-Teng. Like ice-cream cone design, square design, weird L shape design, and some design that is just too preposterous to hop about with just one leg on.

Special Mention:

Lompat getah is also one of my favorites. It is a jump rope made entirely of rubber bands. Love it!. I always practice to achieve the highest jump, 2 jengkal dari kepala. Totally keji. But its the rule. Ade yang mendengki, nak buat 4 jengkal, but us head honchos stamp our feet and said 2 jengkal is more than enough.

We also usually had an argument with the boys in my KB (Kota Bharu) neighbourhood as they keep bugging us to let them play the getah too. We were adamant, saying this is a girl's game, but we relented.

I remembered during time SPM, we were so frustrated and stress at the asrama (boarding school), that we decided to play lompat getah. Unlucky for us, one of my friend sprained her ankle during the one of the jump. Even at 17 we were not as agile as when we were 7 eh. Knowing that our strict warden would lecture us for hours for acting like little girls, we lied and said that she fell in the toilet. Poor her have to hobble through the SPM weeks. That is the last time I ever play getah I think.

Picture Source: Kampung Boy by Lat
Galah panjang. The reason we relented for the guys to play getah back then because they were needed for us to team with in galah panjang. The picture alone warranted no explanation. Hehe.

I am one of the favorites to be pick as a team members back then, as I can run quite fast and was tall, so adalah sangat bangga. (My height today is almost the same when I was 11 ok)

Batu Seremban not one of my favorite, but after practice and understanding on how the game is played, I am quite adept okeh. Haha (Mende-mende meraban cepat je tangkap and nak je practice).

I think it is usually played unti Batu 10. But we take it further to 15. There are even Batu 20. It involved some pretty complicated juggling tricks.

I guess there are others such as bottle caps, tuju/baling selipar, cucuk-cucuk taik lembu (or is that just me) , tin throwing, konda kondi and sepak bulu ayam but I never or rarely played those games. Talking about these games, make me remembers stuff I had previously forgotten. Good times indeed.

In the 80s: We used to eat...

I got the below from an email and although I kinda detest copy and pasting lame jokes onto blog, these I cannot resist (and its not even a joke anyway). It just make me smile.

It is so long and there would be some finger-scrolling exercises to do but it is all in pictures! So don't lose heart! Update: As it is quite long, I think I am going to divide it to 3 parts. 1 part per post. This would be easier for moi to update.

Also I couldn't be bothered to edit it nicely to put the pictures in 1 nice row and I rather want to put own comments next to the pictures...

I remembered a whole lots of junk foods that we would just shuddered if we would want to eat it now, but selalu berulang alik kedai makcik, scraping at our tabung to buy some of these stuffs.

I love gums. I love them even today. I have a whole 'container' filled with gums in work place.
These 'bear' gums is da best when blowing bubbles. Always bought them at show off my skills in blowing bubble to my little brother who then had not yet master the skill.

*confession* I penah stole that 'grape gum' from a supermarket. *shamefaced*

Coklat ni masa kecik-kecik macam best biler dimakan. Sebab die slightly mahal sikit dari biasa. And it tasted a whole lot better than Tora.

Even when I was a kid I was not impressed with "Tora datang lagi" nor "Ding dong". The toys are lousy. The chocolates 'lemau' and I think it cost RM1, which exceeded my daily allowance of 20 cent per day. It is pitiful, but enough to buy a polluted glass of 'air sirap' and seketul kueh at the canteen (This was Kelantan. You can get things dirt cheap there). My mom ever the economical preferring her children to bring their own food. So sometimes I used the 20 cent to buy ice cream shown below.

*I even volunteered at the "Free Food for Poor Children" scheme in giving out food for the poor kids every recess time as volunteer gets to eat the food too* :D Even when I was small I was an opportunist and like to eat.

Put it in a freezer to make an ice lollies! It is too sweet, but nice only when it is chilled or frozen.

How do I eat my biscuit icing (What do you call this?)
1. I grabbed a handful.
2. I ate all the colorful 'icing' first.
3. Then I proceed to eat the biscuit

I have no idea what this is nor do I ever had seen it. Anyone knows?

Special Mention: These are not in the email I received, but I love these junk foods to bits except for Choki Choki.

I never like sweet chocolate. I like my chocolates kinda bitter. But these are my friend's favorite. But after they finished with it, UGH. Looks yucky meh.

One of my all time favorites. The amount of coloring and whatever stuffs in there can make a health freak, freaks. But this is seriously nice. I indulge in it too once in a while. When the mood strikes, selalu beli from bai roti.

Favorite flavour: Milo
Second favorite: Asam boi

Heavenly especially after coming back from school in that harsh afternoon sun. Dan juga time-time ponteng puasa di belakang rumah makcik makan aiskrim beramai-ramai di tepi longkang.

Note: Serias, I took your aiskrim picture from your Fotopages yar. Her mom is one of these entrepreneur. Slalu suke amik satu dalam fridge whenever we singgah at her home.

p/s: Part 2 coming in tomorrow. Malas dah menaip. It would be nice to make this into a tag, but the amount of copying and pasting pictures would put people off for sure. But it would be nice to read what is their memories on this junk food.

Its cold inside, hot outside.

It's really incredibly mind numbingly cold in the office. Sometimes the cold here make me feel like I am dumb. Like my brain is frozen and needs considerable efforts to thaw for it to function in the speed required for works.

Planning to watch Wall-E tomorrow with the spammers lot. Yeay!

Had a lunch of fried chicken. I always pick the breast as its the meatiest bit. I bought it from Giant. It is cheap (though the price had increase from RM1 to RM1.49. Ouch!) and I usually only want only one anyway. Perfect. It also do not have random stray hair in it, unlike the piece of chicken I bought at a local pasar malam. I always have such lousy luck when eating out. Even when eating at a high price restaurant yar.

Am currently enjoying Middlemarch. It is even hard to put down. Shocking. But I am still at the beginning of the book.

My new boss is... eccentric? weird? goofy? I don't know. But he has a little part of all that. And some more. I found that I hate to be alone with him. But I hate to be alone with anyone anyway. I prefer to wait for an empty elevator to not be stuck in a small enclosed space making small talks with people I barely knew.

I am looking for vegetarian sausages. Will look at Giant or Pasar Tani later as I really loveeee sausages (do not make this into a joke.... :P) so this would be a slightly more healthier option for moi. Maybe some salsa sauce alang2 tuh. And relish. Did I mention again how I also love sandwiches.

Sejuk

Ramadhan month is nearing and the 'replacement' puasa sudah pun habis. But probably I will be fasting for a couple more days for the nazar one.

With Ramadhan month also nearing, I am craving for several things to eat before the Ramadhan month, which are Subway sandwich, Chillies and a slice of pizza from the Yellow Cab. Have not yet try it out. Am curious, maybe I will try to walk there on Friday lunch. Am lousy in deciphering directions.

Bid-bid boy is not at home as the replacement maid is still not here. The house is again quiet. How weird that with just 1 child in a house, a house seems a lively thing to be in. Too lively at times.

Puppy Love

The previous post was a non-post. Saje-saje je meluahkan perasaan.

Heh.

Well... after finishing with the Geographer's Library, the next book on my list will be Middlemarch. However looking from the size and the author, it is probably gonna be a loooong and need a bit of a push read. So before delving in, I picked up those stupid, fluffy high school buku cerita first.

I love reading those. It is a quick read. 2 hours the very least and 1 or 2 day the very most.Hoho.

You know the formula aight. Girl long for a boyfriend. Girl have a 'meet cute' with a boy. Some sort of misunderstanding happened. e.g. Girl thinking guy like somebody else (this is usually the case). Then they totally get together.

Well... that kinda book is really really enjoyable, if you have the need for a light reading. Well this book I bought from the Payless Warehouse Sale is just the right amount of fluffy high school type of book that I love. Oh yes. The Payless Warehouse Sale kinda sucks, but it is very cheap. Just that buku yang dijual tu is not to my liking. And that is the only decent high school romance book. But I did bought another 2 books. I forgot the titles, but both stories are set in the WW2. There's a lot of that kinda book; story books depicting life during WW2. I dig that kinda stories so I bought 2 books for my trouble in rummaging around the many, many books sprawled on that table.

Back to the book. So the book is predictable enough, the girl like the boy, the boy like the girl. Voila. Seems like it is happily ever after.

Closing the book and chuckling, I was amuse on the ease of the process in being boyfriend and girlfriend.

Boy: "I like you"
Girl: "I like you too"

Then there would be some mutual understanding on how both are going 'steady' with each other and planning to see the movie next weekend and plan the whole of their life together afterwards.

It reminded me of zaman sekolah with all its 'nota cinta' and all the scriblings of "Mrs David Beckham" dulu2 tho I despise writing Mrs {insert name of high school crush/bf} from zaman sekolah lagi. Macam nama kau tak important nak adopt nama org lain plak.

I remembered zaman-zaman sekolah menengah dulu, if people say a simple I like you. Tada! Considered as couple. Easy eh? There is no incredibly inane statement like "I like you, I really do like you, but the thing is you and me can't be together as I am not too stable now".

The only problem then is professing your feeling to the other party. Now, profess feeling pon tak cukup. Have to be this la, need to achieve that la, need to know each other for 5 long years la, have a lot of space la. Alasan je sume tuh OK. Kalau tanak tu, cakap je tanak. Takyah mengade-ngade cakap.... "saye sukeee awak... tapi, tapi , tapi..." Boleh blah.

Ehem. Ter-emoism pulak.

But the thing is in the teenager years, ade juga automatically assume sendiri sudah couple. Declare aje kat diri sendiri without feeling the need to tell the girl that she is now his gf. I mean they are like, after telling the girl they liked them by giving surat yang telah diberi oleh 3rd party, they will then automatically assume that girl like him too. And sesiape berani nak ambil the gal, kena jumpa belakang toilet/surau/kantin. "Kita settle cara lelaki". LOL.

I remembered when I was in Form 1. I received this surat "mahu berkenalan" (chortled out loud) from this guy A. Then I received another surat from another guy B. Then tak pasal-pasal kena marah as why I am talking to this guy B, when I had received surat guy A and A had said he liked me.

I was like WTF la weh? Bile pulak aku setuju jadi girlfriend die? Suke-suke assume sendiri aje.

After that guy A do not ever want to talk to me again as I had konon-kononnye betrayed his trust. I did continue to talk to guy B; but no, we were never a couple and he was very sweet though quite dumb. However, sadly guy B do not live to see adulthood as he died in an accident when he was in Form 5.

So, high school romance is easy eh, and easily forgettable and painless. After we move away from school that it start to get complicated, horrible, thorny and painful.

Which is why I never regretted any guy I dump when I was in school. LOL. I am sure they are very happy and very contented, today and had completely forgotten me.

The Geographer's Library

Good morning/afternoon/evening good readers.

Welcome back to another round of a sorta review of my sorta opinions on yet another book.

The Geographer's Library is I guess the type books that got hyped by the readers who swore by Dan Brown when the Da Vinci Code fever was araging 2 or 3 years back.
  • It got the right formula.
  • An age old ancient secret about to be discovered.
  • A seemingly ordinary person stumbled upon the knowledge.
  • The quest of arcane/antique objects.
  • People gotten killed because of this knowledge/arcane objects.

So it sound just about right, the story started nicely enough... it started to get confusing and boring and frankly. I couldn't be bothered to care about the characters.

I am going to summarize this story complete with spoilers, but those who want to read the book, will no doubt care very much when they got to the end if they know the spoiler or not. A journalist at a small town for a small weekly newspaper are responsible to create an obit for a seemingly lonely, eccentric old professor of his. So the lonely, eccentric professor is more than just a professor but a guardian of long lost objects.

This objects seems to hold the key of an immortal or longevity of life but it never really specifically say so. At first the story went on fine enough, it is kinda like Gaiman's "American Gods" where 2 plots/stories running parallel with each other. One stories told of the journalist investigation of the professor, the other is how the objects are collected. The latter one, was at first interesting. But then the objects are collected. It was painted as mysterious and sought after. Tapi what it do, why its being constructed, why the hell it even preserve the life of the bearer is not explain.

Then in conclusion, the secret of the immortality (the point of the whole story) is not even these 15 arcane objects! It lies solely in a tablet supposedly from Prophet Abraham (I think that is what the story assume), and that tablet is the reason for longevity or immortality? But it never also really say???? How? Why? Gah! And what's the use of telling readers of these 15 arcane objects? What is their use being held together by 1 person? Gah! Gah!

The other stories that run parallel is how the reporter quest for the truth, found the truth, know the truth, doubt the truth and feel completely ...... I have no idea too. Perhaps its the author ideas to let the endings as open ended. But at the end of the day, I just feel that it just a waste of my time.

I hate stories like this. I hate stories that seemingly seems to forget what they are talking about. Like you spent 150 pages writing about pigeons and suddenly the last 10 pages you are giving conclusions about eagles.

I am fine with open ended endings. Some Japanese authors seems to master it very well in fact. But we understand this, we understand that the ending is an interpretation on how we view the characters and their actions and consequences. If this is what "The Geographer's Library" wanted to convey, the author did not convey it very well. Or either he just got tired of writing and quickly seams a hasty ending.

So Kenyang One

Bah!

So hard to be on diet when mom is at home cooking you several delicious dishes. My mom is the type of person who likes to cook and cook several dishes at 1 go and cooked like a football team is coming over after a match.

So far, none of her daughters inherited her talents. I am by far the worst. I do not however think woe is me. I tried cooking and I know it would never be my hidden talents. My future husband would be either too fat and miskin from eating outside food or too thin because he could not down my cooking. I am aiming for thin, as I never really fancy eating nasi campor outside.

Gah! I am so full. Anyway, I am eating a tad bit more rice than usual and feel like puking. This is not even a dastardly huge portion. A portion that any healthy men would scoffed at obviously, but I can't down that portion nowadays, but I won't beat myself too badly as before dinner I downed a Filet-O-Fish and swore to myself to only keep on buying beefburger after this .Gah! Hate Filet-O-Fish.

The fiance and I decided on a McDonald dinner (snack for me... teeeheee), as I need to bring my really filthy car to the carwash. My favorite carwash is the (dulu ProJet, now for the life of me I can't remember what it is) carwash at the Petrol Station where it have McDonald and hot men washing away the cars with their muscly arms covered in suds and shirt dripping wet. Wahahaha. That sounds like a sentence from a Mills & Boons novel. Now what brought this 'gatal' sentence around? Now, most of the car wash around KL are manned by those 'Bangladeshi" or Indian or Nepalese or mane2 la they came from. So are this one, and the usual type are there, but there is this one guy who is SERIOUSLY smokin hot.

Now, I rarely meet a real flesh and blood man who is truly HAWT. Even if I would ever meet James McAvoy in person, I doubt I would called him hot ( I am enamored by him, not totally blind, so that's fine Effi, I know his dick is short). Now, those who know me, know I love those Hindustan movies. (I heard gagging out there, don't judge. ). Most of those Hindustan hero is so-so, SRK is passable (but he got such cheeky smile and twinkling eyes), Hrithik Roshan is blah, Saif sounds like a duck, Salman Khan needs hair plugs. Now the hero Hindustan who are truly hot are John Abraham and Arjun Rampal. (Strangely, hot as they are, their movies bored me to death.AND. I know, I know, I will kill myself tomorrow reading this post for admitting to the world on my obvious adoration of Hindustan and Hindustani Adonis).

Ok. This hunky guy that is washing my car. He looked like John Abraham and Arjun Rampal rolled into one. He got the most perfect hair I ever seen real life. A tad bit oily praps, but he worked himself a sweat going over those car, I won't hold that against him.  And his body is almost perfect. I do think he need to cut down on those McDonald Coke a bit yar. Chiselled chin, deep set dark eyes. Hellooo Hindustani producers! You let yourself a hottie away here!

My fiance rolled his eyes (prolly he is still rolling his eyes when he read this post) whenever he saw me grinning like a dimwitted fool when we are at the carwash. Bah! He understands. I would let him drool over some hot chicks or model later. One that is truly hot OK! I would be insulted if she is only passable. But really, I can't help it. I rarely, rarely would find/found a hot man. *pssssst... I do think my bosses are hot too, but bosses don't count* (Even in my brief holiday time at UK I thought, none of the guys looked hot or even good looking. Except one, but he is REALLY short. Almost my height. And he kept smiling at me. I think its mostly prolly he was pleased that he finally met a midget too ). But really, when I saw him, my head goes like MAN CANDY! MAN CANDY! MUST LOOK AND GRIN LIKE AN IDIOT!

Idiotic Dila.

p/s: Ugh... still kenyang. And what's the big fuss over 08/08/08. Pfth!

Lie to Me. Make lie you love me.

The above is a line in a lyrics to one of Devic's song.

So I was listening in to the Mix FM breakfast club thingies this morning, and one of their show nowadays featured a segment on lie detection test.

You nominate who's the one you want to put in the hot seat and stand a chance to win RM1000.

I don't know if this is only a gimmick or if real live person would really want to know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, figured out by some machines and broadcast in radio. The past participants was kinda fun. Questions on beauty and model related thingies (By Amber Chia) or by driving related questions ( a fun pair of father and son). But today participants is kinda painful to hear. And it is the truth universally acknowledged, that absolute truth is painful. Or is it a single man in possession of good fortune is in want of wife?

Basically, a woman came and put her husband's secretary on the hot seat to participate in this lie detector test. The wife suspected the husband is having a hanky panky around. First of all, if I am this secretary I would flat out refused. But she agreed to reasons unknown, so the lines of questioning goes like

" How long you are working with this person?"
" Do you spent many hours non-working hours talking with your boss about non-related work thingies?"
" Do you talk about his marriages?"

It then came to a point where the wife had almost accuse the secretary of an affair with her husband, but the test prove(?) the secretary is not the one her husband spent all the gifts and away time together. And the wife goes like "Ha! I know its not you..." I have to laugh at that. When it came to THE question if the husband indeed is having an affair and if the husband is currently on holiday with his mistress, the wife is now in tears and saying she don't know if she wants to know the truth. (The secretary meanwhile pleaded the wife to not ask anymore as she might lose her job, which I quite sympathize with too)

Pietro cut this fun time and saying that they would need to have a discussion with the wife and secretary as this lie detection test segment for today obviously took an unpleasant turn. I also did not listen further as I need to get out of the car and get my ass off to work.

So anyone listening to this too? Anyone know what happened next?

First of all, I am intrigued of anyone wanting to put themselves or anyone else on the hot seat for this lie detection test. I would not want to tell the truth nor hear anyone tell anything and it being broadcasted for the whole Malaysians to hear. And if it were me, you would need to drag my bloodied corpse onto that hot seat. That's the only way you can get me there. (Now, don't get any ideas okeh).

And of course why would you want to ask someone on national radio to hear the thing that may break your heart? And if you do not want to hear it, why would you subject yourself to this? And does the radio station decide to air this segment because they know it is juicy and set people like me talking in their blog or they really are surprised by this turn of event? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Also, would you put yourself on the hot seat to win yourself a RM1000? Would the truth be worth it? I don't know.

So lie to me, come on, its easy.

p/s: Oh, also all the names that were used during this segment is not their real name to protect their identity.

p/s: And where is Ika eh nowadays. I noticed that she is not on for a while, thought was on leave.*shrugs*

As a Mummy fan

I have a confession to make. I watched the Mummy Returns first then love, love, love it. Then I watch The Mummy and love even more of it. Brendan Fraser even for a while make me swoon a bit. Kinda like James McAvoy now ( I just have to bring him up, see. It is a compulsion) . Le sigh. But of course remembering the George of the Jungle (Yikes! That movie is just painful and I know that movie is earlier, but still it is bad.) and his hair plug, the idol phase is just for a little while. However if I am bored, I can watch and rewatch the Mummy and the Mummy Returns with enjoyment.

The Mummy third. How can I say this, it kinda bores me. I don't know it might be another external factors that make me feel restless and tired and sleepy. I woke up early that Saturday and had an outing with the family and carrying along my 7kg nephew around (ok, I only carry him around for a while) so I was kinda exhausted. I was thirsty and the line at TGV beverages and popcorns counter is much too long for me to bother. I was a tad bit pissed that we had to queue at the booking counter line for 20 minutes for no valid reason I can think of at all.

So all that does not make me a happy gal entering that cinema. Back to the Mummy 3 again. Let's start with what kinda make me go hmmm about it.
  • - Alex is kinda kayu.
  • - I was distracted on how much time had past since we last saw em that I spent 10 minutes during viewing time trying to guess the kid's possible age and Rick O'Connell possible age.
  • - Maria Bello (The New Evie) does not seems like Evie. But she does look kick ass holding a gun. She however is not believable as an absent minded woman who loves history and mystery.
  • - WTF with making Evie as an author of a M&B type of books? I only saw her love for history surface for like 5 minutes in the whole movie.
  • - I miss Rachel Weisz immensely.
  • - Also miss Oded Fehr.
  • - Alex and Lin love side story feel forced.

The nicer part
  • - Like the other part in the Mummy movies, I love the story-telling part at the start of the movie. If it were a HK movie, it would be even more kick ass, but nowadays they would probably try to make it all weepy and drama-ey. Blergh.
  • - I still heart Michelle Yeoh and Jet Li, even though they are getting on the years now. Oh and Russell Wong is kinda hot.
  • - Love the Imhotep club.
  • - I like the battle scene between the terracotta warriors and the skeletal rebels. It is one of the fun part of the movie.
  • - I still like Brendan Fraser. Though I don't heart him as before.
  • - If only they would bring the butler along with em to their adventure.
  • - I love the Yeti. I want them as pet.

All in all, I think its the weakest of the three. The Mummy and The Mummy Returns was kick ass. Its fun and exhilarating the whole way through the movie. This movie kinda bore me a bit. Though I might want a second viewing of it, when I am less irritable and thirsty. I may change my mind, but I will prolly still think that its the lesser of the first 2 and I would still compare Rachel Weisz and Maria Bello to death (even though its not fair and she did her best).

And... who actually live at the Shangri-La? The monks and the yeti?

Alone and Lonely

I am not in the mood for some light things today. Feel like doing a thing that I haven't done in the longest time, expressed my day to day frustration in this blog. Here it goes.

I feel like every day I am pretty much alone. You know how it sounds, you surrounded by people but you never feel more alone than you are then. When we are in the best of moods, we rolled our eyes whenever we heard that statement. Because it is sooo cliche, so overused. But if so many people said this thing, maybe, maybe it really is true.

We can only be struck by how alone we feel when we surrounded by people who talks animatedly to each other, but we can't get a word in edgewise. Because, it feels like we are in the outer rim of it. You keep that smile plastered on your face but inwardly, all you feel is going home and just lie down and not think.

Outwards, I am a kinda friendly persona. But the thing is, being friendly is tiring. It is not my natural traits. I am by person a quiet person especially with the people who don't know me too well. And thats the thing, maybe because who I am, I rarely get close to people. If I did get close, I am a chatty bunch. My fiance and some of my friends can attest to that.

But what I want to say is... making friends, or trying to get into that circle of friends you haven't been in for the longest time is the most tiring thing in the world. You'll search your mind relentlessly of things to say. Then you just stay quiet because the thing is there is nothing worthy to talk about.

I feel day by day my friends are slipping away from me. I tried perhaps, not my best, to grasp at that really thin lines of friendship, but even the efforts is trying.

I get mad at the slightest thing. I get mad that whenever people get away together they didn't ask me. I get mad that they think because I don't want to or I can't it didn't suffice the effort to cajole me to join them. I get mad that I am always the last in thoughts. Oh... don't worry. It sounds unreasonable. I usually reasoned myself sternly of this childish thoughts. But there are times, it just came and I let that horrible feeling washed over me and here I am wallowing in self pity. (Please, just let me wallow some more)

In reality perhaps all of this is my fault. I never tried hard enough in term of human contacts. I am lazy to reach out. I am introverted and love nothing else but to sit at home and watch Medium. I don't try hard enought to keep in contact with my friends. But, sometimes I have to ask myself. Should it be only me? Should I always be the one to initiate? Does that mean that people don't like me? Sigh. Maybe it is. But I guess I should tried again next time. Hey you, you that is wallowing in self pity in front of the laptop, snap yourself out of it and ask your friend out for lunch? Maybe, not today eh.

Sometimes I just feel... maybe I am not cut out for the world. Maybe I just need to dig a hole and just lie there and go out once in a while to just feed myself and procreate :D

p/s: How self-pityingly eh... takpe. Gah! I allowed myself for some self pity time today, will snap out of it in 30 minutes time. Let's see what Cracked have further.

So I bought a bag

(A warning: A really girly long post about nothing funny nor wise nor experience worthy. Wheeeeee~~)

And its not news.

Last week had been pretty hectic. My project was going live, so we had to stay at office up till 11pm to meet the target. (that is nothing compared to some people who I think gone back at 4 am). My poor fiance had to pick me up cause I have a phobia against muggers and dark night. Hahaha. Well... all is not lost to him because in return he got a proposition from a pondan-pro and a KFC chicken and burger from me. (Leftover from the dinner provided from the company). Heee. I am indeed a cheapskate.

So it seems the target was not met. (Bah for that but it's not our fault. Really :P) So I had to work on Saturday too. I usually am against working during hols days but this can't be avoided, and I can claim the extra day as holiday. There's nothing to be done anyway. Also don't really mind as I got free lunch of pizza and Starbucks breakfast of green tea latte and biscotti (I brought back the biscotti, as a biscotti without a hot tea or coffee to cicah in is kinda bland to me). Or is my drink actually green tea blended? But its bloody good!

I don't devour too much of the pizza as my mouth was salivating after the nasi ayam and kerabu mangga at Bukit Bintang. Simpan perut yaa. And its even better than I last remembered.! But the last time I went, its kinda crap anyway. Guess they had upped it a bit so its as delicious as from way before. We ordered the BBQ and roasted set. Kerabu Mangga lagi banyak daripada dahulu. But that perhaps is because the price had also naik quite considerably. Sigh.

I overly mentioned food in this blog eh for today? That's because I am fasting today. I got another 2 days to 'ganti' the puasa and another extra 9 days for the puasa nazar I set for myself. Better to start doing the nazar puasa as well as eh. But I didn't put any time limits in my nazar but I can die anytime too, so might as well start now and informing other of my nazar. (Updated: Argh... Period la plak kan. Takpe takpe. Consider as diet. Lalalalala) Huhuhu.

This is the fourth paragraphs and I still haven't start a word on bags! Well, eating nasi ayam is my 2nd purpose to the most jam-congested road ever. But I am also interested in buying a bag.

My old bag frankly is old. (Its one and half year old! Gasp!).
My bag looking decrepit

The lining is beginning to tear. I can't put anything in the pocket anymore. Everything I drop into that bag. And as there is so much rubbish in there, its beginning to resemble a black hole. It took forever for me to find my keys at a time. Kalo tak tahan nak pee tu kan, mula la terlompat2.

Then I propped it up for a more manly, staid pose.

I think my next aim is to buy an extra little bag in there. (Don't worry, that is going to come out from my own pocket ) My friend is amaze at my bag collections. I have a pouch to hold my mp3 player. I have another pouch to hold only my lipsticks. (But I lost one and the other I had to use as a makeshift envelope for duit 'gifts' at a wedding) I also used a bag to store my minyak angin and tiger balm. Also sometimes I have an extra bag inside the big bag as so if I malas to lug around a big bag, I lug around the smaller one. So they think I am tad bit insane. Bags-crazy maybe the words.

So it is only natural I would want to buy a new bag. (Don't worry old bag. I won't throw you away just yet) Actually its a treat from the fiance. I requested for a cheaper meal and a bag instead of a big meal at a pricey restaurant. (Don't gnaw your fingers, my pricey restaurants is prolly somewhere along the line of Chillies. Hoho. )

We walked around Sg Wang from 1 shop to another until all shops beginning to look the same to us. I discovered one bag I really like. An imitation of Miu Miu. However, the logo looked like it was about to fall off. Then I found another Miu Miu imitation which is very very nice, which I have to ask the sales assistant twice for the price.

Me: So lawa. How much is this bag eh?
Sales assistant: Just arrived. Wait arr *she conversed with another shop assistant/owners in Chinese*
Sales assistant: 500 ringgit.
Me: *falter a bit* Arr... Sorry. How much it is again?
Sales assistant: 500 ringgit.

Insane. I put back the bag and said not interested. I was floored for a moment. Guess I am not one of the person who think it is wise to fork out more than a RM100 for a fake imitation good. We went to another shop, and found a Jimmy Choo imitation going for RM800. Sorry la weh. If I have RM800 to waste, I won't spend it on an imitation good. Type A or Type Z, I rather buy a no brand or a lesser one than buy imitation. I guess I just don't like it. My fiance remarked that Sungai Wang had raise its standard. I think its more like high end version of Petaling Street kut.

Well... it then comes to a choice of that really cheap fake MiuMiu which is around RM60++ (a price I do not mind paying but as I said, I don't really like imitation if I have the choice), and another bag which I love that have loads of pockets but kinda have a shoddy look about it (benang terkeluar sana sini), another bag which is nice but really don't know why I am not into it and this bag from Nose.

Shiny new bag! You are here! I dreamt about you! Plastik pon tak bukak lagi. Malas punye pasal. Thought of doing the "Karen Cheng pose" but my camera + shoddy lighting in my room make my reflection on my full length mirror looks blurry, so not clear. This will do.

Guess if I have the picture then I bought that one.

They did no wrong...

except just generally grosses me out.

Spitters
They are EVERYWHERE. If I am stuck at a traffic jam, there would always be some lout rolling down their windows, hacking and spitting out. Euw. There are even some that I noticed that is just gross and instead of aiming at the road, the spit come a rolling down the side of their car. EUW.

And walking at the pavement is like a hazard. Walking around everywhere at KL or JB or senang kata the whole Malaysia la kan, I have to sidestep someone else's spits. I don't even want to think about the one I didn't manage to sidestep. Its gross la weh. Spit tempat yang senonoh sikit boleh tak? Inside a drain ke, in a sink ke. Do you really need to spit it out right there and then as if you have no control of your body?

Not washing hands after coming out of the toilet
Ok. So not all people went into a toilet cubicle to get rid of their bodily waste. But I can hear la weh, the toilet flush, and I noticed that you just nonchalantly goes out from the cubicle, straight out the door.

I do not mind as much if its a public toilet. Not because I think more of you. But I wouldn't see you again. So long! But if its in a workplace, toilets teeming with bursting co-workers. Say you need to shake her hands one day, and you know she didn't wash her hands after a trip to the loo. Ade la sedikit ick factor di situ.

That one lady in the surau that keep on burping
Effi wrote about the group of masjid people he was annoyed with. I betcha you never encounter a burper. Time solat tu, especially next to some middle age people it is not unusual to hear some weird noises. Wheezing. Groaning. I have no idea why. But it happens. And lagi pon time solat. So I live with it.

But this makcik keep on burping like every 10 seconds. Its just not natural. I was fine with it for a few burps, but sepanjang my last 2 rakaat it didn't stop. And when I finished and bersiap to get out of the surau. It didn't stop either. I encountered her like 3 or 4 times and I never really care to look carefully at her, but I know she is there by that incessant burping.

I mean I am sure she does not have some medical affliction where she burps continously throughout life. Did she does this only in the surau? Does she kumpul all her burping desire and release it while solat? It is just too weird. And not to mention it kinda make me want to puke. If you think I am overreacting, you have not been next to someone for more than 3 minutes hearing them burping all through that time.

p/s: I can only think of 3. See... I am not asking too much out of humanity to behave decently.

p/s 2: Also because I am bored so I am writing this semi-rant, since have to stay late at the office. Have to stay late, but there's nothing to do. Ha-hurmph.

Indeed Dark. But definitely not a Knight.

Report: 'Batman' accused of assaulting mom, sis

LONDON - Batman star Christian Bale was to be questioned by police over allegations he assaulted his mother and sister the night before the European premiere of his film, "The Dark Knight," British media reported Tuesday.

Well... this do not bode well for the dark knight? I understand the allegations of abuse of spouse (though still I condemn it), but if your own mother and sister make a report of you assaulting them at a police station, you must have a VERY nasty temper indeed.

If its true, and I really hope it is NOT true as I had love Christian Bale ever since Little Women. (And I still maintained that Jo would do well with Laurie), well let's just say... sigh.

Gamba Abid... and some insane ramblings first

Yesterday I kinda got a panic attack. I realized there are about 2 or 3 unread books left at home. I. Am. Aghast!

A truly horrific terrifying turn which can traumatize a person. Exaggeration aside, after finishing with that delightful love story which always, always leave me feeling why wouldn't the heroine go marry that second best guy, I am left with only these 3 books. The Geographer's Library, Middlemarch and The Other Boleyn Girl.

As I am waiting to see that Natalie Portman movie first before reading the book (you know, avoiding feeling the books is alwayyssss way better than the movies), that leave me only 2 options. Middlemarch looked thick. And I am kinda not feeling like reading a classic novel, not before I got some murder and mystery going. That left only one. The Geographer's Library. I found that book while rearranging my books and looked at it frowningly, not remembering ever seeing it at all. At first I thought my mom must had bought it and forgot it. That is what I thought for several months, until today.

Since I am picking it up for my reading list this week, I was perusing inside and found a receipt from Little Penang Cafe at KLCC. In the receipt, there is one dish that *I* especially love to order from there. So that must had been me. But the price tag on the book is RM10. No RM10 book exist in KLCC. Which makes me think of Ampang Park, on how during my shift-working days where I roamed KLCC during your normal people working hours, I sometimes goes to Ampang Park and they sometimes have this really cheap book sales. Mystery solved! And I am such an old woman!

Also... I am currently at a loss where did the book The Resurrectionist gone to. I bought it at Amcorp Mall from that Xcess book store. And I can't find it anywhere! I am thinking really hard if I somehow left it at Amcorp Mall... which was months ago... so my really shaky and obviously senile memories is not much used. Gah! I am sure in about a year time, then I will find it again, or it can be something like a missing clothes. Like you always wondered what happen to that clothes you always wore on college but you know you didn't throw it out.

Well anyway, A SHOUTOUT TO KAK LIZA. Below is a pic for my sister at Qatar tu. Click on the pic to go to the fotopages (yes... that rarely updated one) for more pics showing him in slightly different angles. Heeeee.

Why I think that I will not be watching The Hobbit

1. Hobbits are short

I found that it is hard to find pics of the hobbits and the regular tall people. Prolly my search skills sucks

2. They are short with gross looking hairy feets

3. Guillermo del Toro disappoint me with Hellboy II. But I guess I have big expectations after Pan's Labyrinth. (Tho to be fair.. I am in awe with with Hellboy II, just the plot kinda blah)

5. I couldn't be bothered to read the 2nd and 3rd part of LOTR. Much less Hobbit.

6. I never really like Bilbo Baggins in the LOTR movies.

Why I would watch anyway IF the rumours are true?
*swoon*

p/s the first: I think this is mainly a filler post

p/s the second: Also looking through the scary world of the inter-web, I found this fan-made pics (for wallpaper I guess?)

p/s the third: I found another much much much scarier pic which I think might be someone representation of a hobbit's dick ( I didn't enlarge the pics to peruse carefully). But I am much too ladylike to post it to you children out there.

Neil Gaiman... oh...

So... I had been reading Neil Gaiman's, 3 books in succession. Good Omens, American Gods and Anansi Boys.

Good Omens was deliciously good. But I will stand in my opinion that my favorite book in his whole collection would be Neverwhere. I am still thinking if I like Stardust more... but I don't like the ending that much. I like the ending in the film though. Heee.

On a side note, I still haven't read Sandman. But I really loathe to part with my money to buy expensive graphic novel. So unless I feel a real need to read it or somebody gonna donate me the graphic novels or if there is some warehouse sales for graphic novels that house this... maybe I will change my mind. Back to the books again.

American Gods was dark, at times disturbing but very interesting. I kinda like to read the short stories about the 'gods'. However because it is dark, it took me quite a bit of a time to finish the novel. A tad bit depressing at times you see. But I like Shadow. Especially the love of Shadow and Laura. There's no one dimensional feeling in that relationship. Love. Hate. Disappointment. Protectiveness. It is one of the more beautiful thing about the book . I would love to see how Shadow goes on.

However I am now reading the 'spin-off', Anansi Boys with great relish. Not too dark, reminded me a bit of Good Omens. Very tongue in cheek at times. So I found myself picking the book up at every opportune moments.

I have to say I really like Anansi Boys. Currently in the middle of the book. So I don't know how the ending would turn up. Love how unexpectedly some of the twist in all of the books came up. So, hush for now. I deduced that I will finish reading the book by the end of this week. I will announce if it will be my favorite.

My next book is .... a romance. Haaa! I think I had tire myself of reading dark, forbidding, disturbing books that currently I kept on having really disturbing nightmares. My fiance said said my nightmares are like Neil Gaiman books, (that I am influenced by him in my dreamland). I say that is absurd as I had been having nightmares as far back as I can remember and as frequently as other people drink coffee every morning.

Anyway, as I feel it had been such a long time since I read romance, I am picking a really cheesy one. Victoire by Clare Darcy. I think this romance novel is kinda like a Georgette Heyer novel.

See. Isn't the cover such classic? Heee. I kinda fell in love with reading Georgette Heyer romance book. Most of it are set in the Regency period. And Georgette Heyer is a romance writer who do not write sex scenes into her book. Ha! See romance writers! You can write romance book without including a trip to the erotica and we would still enjoy it ok!

I bought the lots of Georgette Heyer books that I have currently, at a flea market during my trip in Scotland. So I got it dirt cheap (maybe even free as my sister might had been paying at the time.. ) but the books are kinda in a frail condition and some of the pages had been missing (not missing when I bought it but I read and reread it like 50 times, some must had slipped away unnoticed and lost forever! Sobs! I am not careful enough with books. Trying to be). Been hunting Georgette Heyer's books at Kinokuniya and I kinda yelp when I saw the price. The paperback of 1 book cost around RM50++. Crazy!

So I was looking for chopsticks at a secondhand stores (kinda unhygienic I know, but I am going to wash it and all and not all of em had been used!), I found the above. As it mentioned "Enchanting romance excitement in the GEORGETTE HEYER tradition" (HAHAHA.. enchanting romance excitement.. I just have to laugh but I like this type of book so shut up) ... well... I just have to buy it. And at a price of RM4, apa salahnye test run the book to see if I like it eh.

And no. I didn't buy the chopsticks at the secondhand store. I ended up buying it at Giant.

UPDATED at 15 JULY 2008
Already finish with Anansi Boys last night! That was faster than I myself expected. So starting on the romance novel already.

Favorite book of Neil Gaiman? I will have to say its still Neverwhere but this and Good Omens and Stardust are second favorites. Can there be 3 second favorites? Who cares!

I feel like eating KFC but I am too broke

I got a lot of things to do... which I am lazy to start or finish. Basically its not done la. But hey. I am lazy? That is old news.

Very mengantuk some more. I am getting sick with liaising with this particular person regarding this labeling thingies. I mean la kan. I thought that when you start with the requirement early on the project, you had already agreed on the labels that are in the system. What I DO.NOT.NEED is someone to keep on changing the bloody labels in the hundreds so near to the live date. I think whenever this person is particularly free, his thoughts would go like.. "Eh... I am so free ar. What gonna do eh? Ah yesss, let's go over those labels again and see what more things I want to change eh?"

Argh. So demotivating la weh. How I can proceed with my other works if I keep on receiving emails daily on why does this label have not been change yet and what does this mean. And more labels to be change even though we had gone over it 2 or 3 times already! And if its a new applications or labels I might understand! But its ALREADY in there for the past 3 month!

Argh. I rarely rant so much about work. So there. Abes.

In a more stress-less note, I am FINALLY at Level 2 for my violin class. And NO! I am not posting any file of me playing it. I am improving but my playing would still sound like a whale mating. I am a bit menyesal why did I not take piano. But nak beli piano pon satu hal. You think piano is so cheap meh? Anyway, violin is definitely a challenge, and bad as I sound, for a few hours in a week, it would drive out any other thoughts that maybe swimming around in my head.

Oh.. and yes. I had finally finished reading American Gods. Only at the ending that it pick up the pace a bit. Not to say that it's not enjoyable. I like the short stories of the 'gods' and the belief that Gaiman intricate in there as a sort of backstory to Shadow journey. My next book would be Anansi Boys. But the book is a hard cover one. I do not like hard cover book. I prefer the paperback copies as I can carry it around easily in my bag. I like to read everywhere, especially while waiting to cross the road at Maju Junction which at times can stretch to the longest 15 minutes of your life.

I am blogging more often eh? More things for you to read! Even if its nonsensical!

Some people are incompetent

I read the story of this woman murder and was left feeling ... despair.

It tells the story of a how a woman try her damnedest in all her physical and intelligence power to survive and ask for help, yet still doesn't come out alive.

What saddened me more is how the case is also botched by a missed 911 call. The case of where dispatchers forgot to inform the police on the streets who is on the lookout for this girl, of the 911 tips they received and agents not following up. I don't know the stressful working environment of an emergency line call center (911, 999, whatever emergency line set up), so maybe people and me are judging them harshly.

However, if an important call somehow get lost through, there is usual some kind of repercussion. And this call probably had indirectly caused a life lost. The agents should have at least follow up. They didn't. They should have logged it in the system, they didn't (in my previous job as a call center agent that is ground for dismissal especially for critical customers). There are so many BASIC things that as a call center agents what more ;a 911 operator and police dispatchers where calls are about life and death matters, should know that I understand how people much less the family of the deceased can get angry. A 60 hour suspension... seems trivial.

This make me think of a past local news story on how a domestic problem not being taken up seriously and resulted in a girl's death. I can't remember the full details of the story, but as far as I can remember a girl called the police or 999 and informed that the boyfriend is going on full pyscho mode on her and was trying to kill her. But the police simply raked it up as a simple domestic problem ( perempuan manakah yang mengada2 saje2 je call polis cakap boyfriend saya nak bunuh saya?) and didn't send anyone. I think her father or abang discovered her bloody body the next day. She was stabbed repeatedly. The father expressed his sadness and displeasure on how the case was handled but I can't remember reading it any longer. This just prove the complete incompetence of some people when handling an emergency call.

I myself remembered calling for help, when a "Mat Salleh" woman was stabbed at Petaling Street few years back. The call center agent is such a moron that I myself kinda hope that she had change her job as a sales assistant where the most she could botched up is by looking dumbly at a customer while people are asking her question. She kept on asking me where I am, and I informed her. She kept repeating the same question, and at the same time sounding mighty pissed off which make me pissed off . She tell me where in Petaling Street exactly. I said I have no idea, I am new in KL. I think I said some of the thing which I saw which she dismisses. I mean hello... I was like 19 I think, so I maybe a tad bit gullible at time. But couldn't you have lead me a bit on how to help, how exactly I can describe my surrounding. Do you expect people to immediately know this while a woman is screaming in pain in front of them while her husband is going around panicky asking for help.

Some people are such an incompetent fool that it amazed me why people are paying them to do such shoddy job. Imagine my relief when a police officer emerged so I just ended the call immediately. I doubt that the idiotic agent is the one who send the officer.

I left Petaling Street that day with a complete faithlessness in our emergency response agents.

At last

I manage to change the look.

But I don't think it is quite... stable yet.

The template looked kinda messed up in my laptop. But fine from my desktop. IE and Firefox tested. Firefox had a little white space in it.. but at my laptop had a whole lot of white space. (If anyone found my blog looking like this pls inform).

If there's a whole lot of complaint from your end (just inform me if it looked messed up) or if its still looking messed up from my laptop I may change. But that gonna take weeks. Heeee. Not that I tinkered much with it; after all this is a ready made template, but I.AM.LAZY.

Also updated the link list a bit. Buang the blog links that seems to 'terkubur'. No point in keeping those around eh.

Sunday already eh? Weekends are too short.

TV Gossip is my coffee

So early this morning, heard that Shannen Doherty is in talks to come in the remake/rehash of the new show Beverly Hills 90210. Whooop! Yeay all around. I miss Shannen Doherty. I no longer watched BH 90210 when she no longer around back then (the college and the working years sucks too). I even miss her in Charmed though I don't hate Rose McGowan (as she is so white-liciously babelicious.. and yeah, the fact she used to date Marilyn Manson drop her points a bit, but she still a babe) I was just thinking that I could afford giving the show a miss. But Brenda back again to terrorize the people at BH? Hell yeah, I will be watching!

I do hope that the actors won't go into strike! Its going to sucks if we would have a 10 eps per season again.

So I heard the awesome movie which is REC which I have YET to watch (SO NO SPOILERS PLZ) but the DVD is currently languishing at home waiting for me to pick it up are going to be reamericanize remake by Quentin Tarantino. Hurmmm... Maybe I will watch it this weekend. Maybe not. Hmmm as long as I watch it first before the Tarantino's one is out.

Oh.. read somewhere that they (had/want to?) sign up James McAvoy in doing a Wanted sequel ( of course, since they got loads of profit from that movie). The down side is that it seems really far fetched (not to mention spoiling the first movie) if they somehow manage to revive Fox again and another thing. The fear of the curse of a sucky sequel! The up side, James McAvoy! Yeay! Though I kinda doubt he wanted to sign up again for the sequel. Let's see if tis rumour hold any grain of truth.

They are really pulling all kind of stop for the this upcoming Batman movie eh? All sorts of posters had come up even as early this year. I am kinda harumph with all of it but I kinda like this one.

Racking up my brain for any e-news related thingies that I want to squeal about. But couldn't find any... Anyway will be watching Hancock tomorrow.

When life get tough... sell it out?

So a man frustrated with his life.. sold it for USD400,000 ++. [Source]

I wonder who's the sucker that would want his life. But considering it also included the furnitures, car, motorcycle, jet ski... it doesn't seem that bad.

If the house is big enough, furniture non-horrible, good car and motorcycle with not so many miles and properly maintained... that seems like a bargain. Though I would certainly hold off on the job and the introduction of the friends.

Imagine the conversation "So this is X, he bought my life. So long... I am not going to stay here anymore and leave to some exotic place with the money you gave me in exchange for my shoddy life" ?

So perhaps it is an OK bargain. Though I did raised my eyebrows when I read this excerpt "I guess I'm a little bit disappointed at the final price, I'd hoped it to be a little higher than that,"

You want to leave your life of disappointments and despair and you are a disappointed why people are not jumping on the chance to throw more money at you to get your 'life'?

But I guess most of us would disappointed if our life is not worth millions.

And of course, we now get other people wanting to do the same where for e.g. there is one woman wanting to sell her house and a shot at marrying her (the guy who is buying the house tho I am not too sure if she will accept guys who do not want to buy the house but just marry her).

The ad says:

“If you want to live the never ending dream and experience the real love, life and the romance you have always felt was a fairytale then this is the vibrant outstanding woman of your dreams! To sweep this European Loving Lady off her feet send in your application right now.”

Any takers? You got a wife readily available?

I do suspect that perhaps she actually macam keberatan nak jual rumah die but need the money. So she sell the house, marry the person who buy the house, she get the money + house + husband.

Brilliant!

Cats and Mess

At first this photo was meant for my IG story, but the mess is too much. So I opted not to, and in a whim decided to just post it here. Beca...
