Day 2 in Tokyo and Day 3 in Hakone

Not feeling the best lately so I been putting off updating. Tapi sebab nanti rugi tak update. I suke baca balik my previous travelling posts . Sebab sometimes you forget how amazing some things are, bile baca balik you can remember back all the small details, the sight, the sound the smell. ( Kepingin nye aku nak pergi Istanbul lagi).

So moving forth, I will be combining Day 2 and Day 3 sebab aku tak larat nak buat each one day, malas woi.

The next day we woke up late sebab penat la. We took our time to get to Meiji Jingae.

Meiji Jingae is one of Tokyo most famous temple. A very beatiful temple. Very serenelike. We go to Harajuku Station and from there just walk to the temple. The walk is not really stroller friendly so kasik peluang Aziz boy berjalan sama.

This is taken with my not so powderful camera phone tapi even then the scenery is beautiful.

Nampak cam jalan berturap, but actually pebbles tu. We are in front of one of the shrine gate. Still lama lagi nak sampai. It should have taken us maybe around 20 to 30 mins to walk from this gate to get to the temple. Kalau bawak toddler sekali... ko panjang kan la estimate tu . He run, he walked, he walked in circled, run backwards, even rolled around on the gravel to the amusement of many! It took us almost an hour to get to the temple. Mommy very the penat.

At last we reached the temple. But before that, we rinsed our hands as per ritual ... though I only wanted to rinse Aziz hands sebab tangan kotor amat die duk kutip2 batu dari tanah.

So many people and the water is cold but kinda refreshing.

Aziz obviously wanted to rewash his hand again tapi dah tak kose dah. Sekali cukup.

Prayers
Spent some time reading the prayers people wrote , those who wrote in English la kan. Most prayed for happiness and health.

I forgot to include the pic of the interior of the shrine, oh well. We wandered around for a short time and headed back.

We wandered in one of the garden, which is to me, biasa je but with a pretty lake at edge of the garden where big fishes are. To Aziz delight.

And hang around a hut where there is a big raven pecking stuffs out of the roof and I was freaking out but Aziz was really curious. The raven there is huge.
Sibuk nak try tanggalkan salah satu kayu situ.

We got ice cream at the nearby museum. I malas masuk museum sebab I nak makan ice cream kat luar.

Aziz got an ice cream too.

We then walked up and down Omotesando Hills, Aziz is asleep at this point. Penat jalan keliling temple dan garden. Lama gile die tido dalam stroller , almost 2 hours lebih. We got into Oriental Bazaar and Kiddyland je. Sempat la aku beli pearl bracelet berharga RM500. Aku memula convert ingatkan dalam puluh2 RM je, sekali keluar kedai bagitaw laki, laki kate it is close to RM500. GASP! ALWAYS. BRING. CALCULATOR.

Oh and Lotteria for lunch.

Prawn burger for the win. Sodap k.
Memula ingatkan nak pergi Ginza, tapi malas. I don't really care to gawk at high end brand shops. We stopped at Yoyogi park sat because I was hoping maybe there is some sakura trees that is still persistently blooming. Saw half a tree. So disappointed. But it at least give us some time to relax and give Aziz some food though the only thing he wants to eat are power bar!

Also behind us there was a group of Japanese teens ... which are either in drama club or reenacting scenes from their favorite manga/anime. It is hilarious and I am much too shy to take a pic of them. I would suggest for you to go to Yoyogi Park for people watching. It is truly an experience.

Afterwards decided to go to Harajuku pulak. Pon tak beli ape2.

The crowded Takeshita Dori. The shops was ok. Nothing that really made me want to enter. Though the shops are multicolored enough.

We then headed to Shibuya for me to see the infamous Shibuya crossing in movement and of course Hachiko statue. Memula I amik gamba sensorang, tapi Aziz sibuk nak jugak gamba dengan Hachiko.

He obvs is doing it right because supposedly rubbing Hachiko legs should make you lucky in love. Though I heard it is for girls. Tak kesah la Aziz.

At the Shibuya intersection. I am heading to the L'Occitane for creme brulee and tea.

Besarr kan. I think it is more apt to be shared. Tapi kami tamakk.

Since it came in sets of tea, so I got my pot of tea and so does my husband. I chose rose tea and it is delightful that they also provide a big jar of honey. Aziz enjoys the honey more than other.

Because I don't own any moisturizer, I have to hunt one in Tokyo and setelah going in numerous shops I found one that I reasonably understand because it says the range is for sensitive skin.. which is me. And I kinda love it. It is Face lotion moist, where it is not actually cream but more water based moisturizer which is great for my skin since I can't stand the cream type. Too heavy for my skin which can breakout easily if there is excess oil. Holding off wearing it while I am in Malaysia since I am waiting for my acnes to clear, then I will be testing it again if it truly suit my skin while I am here.

(Sempat review skincare lagi)

Kite sambung Day 3 pulakkk.

On Day 3 is my least favorite day, maybe because I took a tour. I don't really like tour and I guess this is one of it.

We took the tour to go to the base of Mt Fuji and Hakone.

I don't have any pics of the base of Mt Fuji and I didnt even go down the bus since Aziz was asleep on my lap at the time. It was cloudy, and foggy and not a thing to be seen. Ah well. At least some of the Asians who I believe live in a snowless country did have fun taking pic with the patches of snow left here and there.

We stopped for lunch at Hakone where we didn't take the lunch that came with the tour since I doubted we can eat some of it, so we bought some soba noodle soup, fried rice with anchovies and tempura and orange juice. Ok la tu. I quite like that fried rice.

Then up to the mountain we go!
Aziz had a lot of fun looking around the cable car. He was very well and truly amazed at the sight. This is also one of the place that we can see Mt Fuji clearly and beautifully. Photos don't do it justice so I am not putting it here.

We took the Hakone Sky Gondola, which is the cable car up to the mountain where Owakudani Boiling Valley where you can opt to boil some eggs in hot spring water. I didn't go up to the hot spring as my husband said since I am asthmatic better not tempt fate. Okeehh..

Sejuk gileeee. Angin pulak sakan bertiup, if you are wearing scarf and dont tied it around you it will be blown  down below.  I am half afraid the wind will buat Aziz2 tergolek2 jugak.

So jalan2 area mountain tu je tangkap gambar sambil makan ubi kayu bakar. Sodap di makan at freezing temperature.

Then we go down the mountain for the Lake Ashi cruise. This is the best part of the tour I think since the view is magnificent.

The cruise ship

We sat indoor awal2.

We went up the deck afterwards and stay most of the time upstairs. It was beautiful and a bit cold, but still ok la.  Then home we went. This time we took the bullet train back. Nak rase la katakan.

We got down at Tokyo Station and head to a vegetarian ramen shop I had googled up.

My ramen. I don't really like it.

Aziz likes it more than me as you can see.

That's my husband punye. He said it is quite nice. I nyesal tak order ni gak.

And that's that. Pastu balik pengsan.

Eh tak. We tried to look for Tokyo Tower, tapi sesat. Aku dah emo, Aziz pon dah tido dalam stroller. Dah jalan-jalan tak jumpa pon rupa towernye. Dah balikkk. Tido. Besok tu nak gi tengok Doraemon pulak. Jalan jauh jugak.

Japan - Day 1

Mari la hadap Japan entry aku.

We decided to go to Japan sebab ... tah kenapa tetiba. Actually I was hell bent on visiting London and Scotland. Tapi sebab kewangan yang tidak mencukupi and I had been there before tapi gatal nak pergi lagi, so I chose Japan and it is cheaper.

I opt for the Masholiday punye package. My personal opinion if I took the flight and hotel option the price is ok la. Dan of course me being me, my place of stay is very important. Not exactly luxury la since I am no royalty nor millionaire, but comfortable enough for me to look forward to go back to the hotel. Also at first I tried to squeeze in Kyoto but found it is way too expensive and too hurried. I don't want to tire my baby out so I had to leave Kyoto out of the itinerary. Too bad. Maybe next time.

We took the night flight because I don't think so I can handle my son during all the 8 hours of flight time. So naik flight, bagi susu, main2 dengan die sat, he slept on my lap. Then I transferred him to the bassinet. More comfy for him and me.

Excited di pagi hari sampai Jepun.

So we arrived in Japan around 7 am kut. Terang benderang dah time tu. Since check in time hotel Jepun ni kul 2 pm so we took our time

Had breakfast. I usually bought this. A no frill snack. It is basically bread smeared with butter and strawberry. Had also bought the maple syrup and peanut butter one.  But my favorite and Aziz too, are the strawberry jam sandwich.

And waited for the airport bus that will take us directly to hotel ( antara reason I chose this hotel is due to the airport bus dropoff and pickup  )

The hotel location itself is great. It got 7E downstairs. Also some shops, coffee place and restaurants, a halal turkish restaurant ( halal place in Japan usually mean only the chicken is halal, don't order the beef ). Next to 2 station with a lot of frequently used metro line, one of the station is just opposite the road ( and have elevator! Great for stroller!). It is also opposite to Bic Camera where if you are pressed in time to shop in Akihabara you can great the same things ( of course limited la) at almost the same price as in Akihabara.

Sampai reception.

We reached the hotel around 12 pm. Since it is too early for check in, we decided to walk around the area and have lunch in the form of pancakes at one of the coffee shop. It was a delicious pancake. Seems have forgotten to include the picture. Oh well.

2 p.m. Check in to rest a while. This time I remembered to take picture of hotel room because I know people likes to know ( people as in me, lagi best tengok traveller themselves take the pic since you know the 'real' pic of the hotel instead of the professionally done in the website).

Bathroom is tiny but movable. Toilet ade washlet! I miss using the washlet to wash my hoohaa.

Pandangan depan bilik dengan Aziz sebagai model. Rarely used the TV since the only channel available is in Japanese and if you want other need to pay.

Pandangan belakang sikit.
All in all was very satisfied with the room, not too tiny kalau ikut Tokyo punye hotel size, can open 2 suitcase easily without blocking any path. Very comfy which is important.

Anyway, our plan for that day was only to go to Disneysea. We bought the etickets siap-siap online dah a month before ( you can just go to the Japan Disney resort online and purchase there) and I chose the Starlight one ( entry from 3pm onwards). We arrived around 4 lebih kut.

Entrance going in Disneysea. Sejukk weh time ni

Mostly we just roam around and I think we manage to visit all the 'city' , and let Aziz have his fun especially at the Mermaid area. I didn't take any ride and my husband accompanied Aziz to only one much to my trepidation .. walaupon I yang push him to take Aziz for a ride. Aziz tadek perasaan pon. Ceh.

Add caption
The beautiful mermaid lagoon from outside. I think it looks amazing during night time.

Lawa kannn.... Aziz loves seeing the lights.

Main2 atas ship

Bought the milk tea popcorn and that must be my favorite popcorn ever. Rase macam minum a mild milk tea sambil makan popcorn. So weird but it works!

It is all around and I really want to buy the bucket tapi nanti gerenti bucket lawa tu sekadar menyemak je kat dapur.

We had pizza for dinner and for a theme park restaurant this is quite good!

Afterwards jalan-jalan kejab dan berkejar tengok night show. Gile ramai orang kumpul keliling lake tu, but it was quite good, then we also saw the fireworks jugak! Double show! I only miss the parades sebab I don't much like parade. But we let Aziz watch some dance number show which he loves. I think sebab die selalu tengok kat tab all these weird costume creature dancing in the screen, rase amazed tengok in real life. The show is all in Japanese but it was not boring.

Dedua muka penat, but this Arabian Aladdin place is beautiful

Disneysea in summary is nice. You can opt to roam around ( which is why I opt the 3pm as it would be cheaper) but if you are aiming for the ride which I heard is the best in the world you should be there early morning and run like hell to the fast pass machine!

How we get around Tokyo using the metro :

Credit : taken from youinjapan.net

1. We used Suica card. You can see how you can purchase one here : http://www.thejapanguy.com/how-to-get-a-suica-card/ . However to find that machine is also a pain in the ass, and from what I read you can find it a major train station that have JR line. We bought one on our way to Mitaka Station, we changed station at

2.  Google is our friend. I purposely find a hotel with a wifi so it is easier that we google stuffs up the night before. Especially helpful is google map of course. It will list down the train station you need to take or change to get to your destination.

Nanti update lagi ~

Nanti la update.

Aziz dan terselit sedikit pasal food.

Aziz is 20 months old

We bought him that cheap winded toy from some cheap store in Bangi selling kids and women accessories. I love those shop! Dengan itu happy la die kejab sementara menunggu makanan.

Big boy who likes to babble when he is happy. Babble in his own language la.Language is still so-so. He understands what we says but mulut bagaikan menyimpan emas . If he wants something, he will take your hand and direct you to whatever it is that you have to take it for him.

Dua ekor ni bergaduh nakkan laptop. Sekor nak tengok Mawa Kawa, sekor nak membuta situ. Kelakar pulak tengok die tolak2 Bobby sambil cakap " Babyyyy... angannn... angannn Babyyy". Pelat habes. Mawa Kawa tu favorite kartun die. He can either watch Mawa and Kawa, Elmo's World and Sesame Street. But Mawa Kawa tu die dah naik boring kut. Have to admit, kenkadang aku pon enjoy tengok Mawa Kawa ( I think it is actually called Misha and the Bear). Incredibly cute!

Last 2 weeks balik JB sat, brought him to the chinese senseh. Or is it sensei? I got tired of spooning him cough medicine dan kahak die masih tak baik. So the senseh gave him this medicine and in 3 to 4 days his kahak is gone! But it is back now.. tapi not as bad as before. I think if I go back to JB will brought him again.

This senseh that we go to in JB is pretty famous kut. I heard the receptionist mentioning that after they were featured in the newspaper a lot of people flocked to his shop. There are the father and son team. We had came in before when we try to get pregnant. I guess it does work, because after 1 or 2 months drinking that vile herbal concoctions I was pregnant. The son does not specialized in fertility I think because he mentioned need to wait for his father if wants to speak about getting pregnant. Though my husband swears up and down the last time we goes we were attended to by a female. The younger doctor said nope, no female worked here... don't know. My memory not that good. Huhu.

Baik je masa kena cukur bebudak ni semua.

Anyway we went back to JB sebab my cousin getting married and my niece ( Kak Lina new daughter!) punye majlis cukur jambul.

During the wedding. Ade budak ajak Aziz main tepuk tampar dan lari2 keliling meja. Die ikut ajeee.

Also for the first time ever dapat makan kat warung rumah Tok Mak ni, the whole family together. If you can see at the back there rumah papan tu is my late grandfather house. After he died in 2002 I think, my late grandmother moved in with us and the house was since disewakan. Then someone approached my mom to turn it into a warung, ( rumah sewa masih lagi di belakang, the girls don't want to move out and content to be near the warung. ) Warung tu bukak pagi je I think but business must be good. And the food was good! Especially suke roti arab die.  Anak aku main sana sini. Orang lain makan dengan aman. So terpaksa la take turn aku dan laki aku makan breakfast.

Tiba2 nak cakap pasal Korean food la kan. Tapi hoi sedap gile laaa sambal sotong atas tu. Dah la banyak gile. Sampai rase nak termuntah. But sambal sotong die style sambal sotong Korea la. Ape tah nama.. aku je panggil sambal. Masam2 manis sikit. Nasi tu is my favorite. Felt like brown rice + kacang sikit. It is just a small stall dekat Gardens ni. Opposite Cold Storage. Ramai frequent.

Another of my favorite Korean food is the yakgaejung at the Gardens food court. Betul kan tu. Spicy beef soup. Ini adalah makan yg lama untuk makan. Nak tunggu panas tu reda lagi. Nak menyuap nasi tu dan sup lagi. Cuma KENAPA BEEF KO ADE 4 HELAI YANG NIPIS JE.

Naseb baik.

Bloody night and missing cat

Last weekend did not start out great. In the middle of Thursday night, I was downstairs with husband rearranging stuffs in the kitchen, heard a bump upstairs. Know immediately my son sudah jatuh katil. Run upstairs and was aghast to find him with blood pouring down from his mouth. Panik, I tell you. Panik. Manage to see that he cut his lip only falling, but the all the blood just made it all look so ghastly.

He didn't want to put any pressure or ice to his mouth. Sakit kut and he is a baby so of course he wouldn't know that it is suppose to make him better. All he wants is being hugged and while being hugged used my shirt to wipe his blood. Good enough la. It was ok tomorrow. Horrible blown up lips but he was only fussy during the morning and normal afterwards. Kids are resilient. If it were adult, we will moan and bitch about it for daysss. Till today, there is a little bruise, but it is healing nicely.

I really should have put some tilam on the other side of the katil, or at the very least some very plush carpet kan. Put idea forward to husband.

Aziz suke nyakat Kurap.

Then for the other drama at the weekend. I let my cats out during the weekend. They are happy , I am happy. Most of the time they just roam about my tiny yard and sometimes if feeling adventurous, go 2 or 3 houses down. Kurap is more adventurous since she came from a strays from around here I think, so she always went further and I rarely worried. Die suke duduk feeling strays belakang rumah. So when she didn't came back that evening, I was not too worried. When night came, I was a bit worried and keep on calling and looking around but she didn't jaunt her way back as her usual way. By morning I was feeling VERY worried.

Aziz and I went for a walk that Sunday evening and keep on calling Kurap name. A very long walk around the housing area. Jalan depan, belakang , tepi, lorong. We came back empty handed.

By Monday I was crying. Kurap is my cat. She had been there for me from way back. We adopted her when I was recovering from my miscarriage, and she was there for most of my lonely days and my pregnancy sickness days and my grief over Fasha death days. So yes. She is a huge part of my life. We tried to tips on how to recover lost pet, and Monday is day 3, I was just about to create a poster and tried to search in SPCA.

Tips: If you are in Ampang, your pets get taken away from the local council, check the SPCA since sometimes it will take them there. If not, just try to contact your local councils where they put your pets and do this soon because usually they will be PTS around 3 days to a week.

Lepas balik kerja tu, since my son is at my sister for a while, I decided to go and look again at the lorong belakang my house. Called Kurap name and various cats answered. Then I kept on hearing a persistent mews from a kitten. Go to the source and saw the kitten that I almost squashed with my car in the middle of the road 3 or 4 days before, mewing at me. Went to it and was surprised that I heard Kurap distinctive meow very loudly.

Looked around and then I saw her inside a house and she was mewing at me from the window at the side of the house. ! Subhanallah, there is a reason why I manage to save this kitten, she is the reason I found Kurap, but by then the kitty had scampered off somewhere. May you stay safe kitty.

Anyway, rang the doorbell and tried giving salam... but it seems that no one is home in the house. Lights are on, but all seems locked. Saw that the bathroom window is wide agape, so I immediately knows that Kurap got herself in and can't get herself out. 2 of the side window is opens slightly, so I have to push it further and get Kurap out ( at the stare of a young boy who I think, must be thinking that a robbery is in progress ). Then I have to try to get the tiny window shut again, but that was really hard, but I think I manage.

So yeps. Kurap had an adventure. She was also very pissy when she got home and very hungry too. Kena tenteramkan her for a while. I think being shut out was a bit traumatic to her. Found her not very far from my house and I think I had walked past by that window calling her name twice before. Maybe she was sleeping at the time or couldn't hear.  I guess it is right when people says don't give up when searching for a pet. Kena grounded ke? Besok tu sibuk nak keluar but she just stays at the yard and then slept the whole afternoon off.

Looking every bit like the diva she is

Girls weekend

My school friends from JB decided to have a girl weekend. Walaupon most of us are JB girls born and bred, but most of us are now staying/working in KL. Except for 2 , one in Terengganu and the other at JB.

Since mereka yang jauh decided on the date, I decided on the hotel. We stayed at the Royale Bintang since it is easy access to semua tempat. Yeps. All of us ( who have kids) left our kid(s) with the husband at home. Kemain laki2 ni semua pesan bini masing2 to jaga perangai. Amboi.. macam kite orang ni dulu party girls je.

Had lunch at Tony Romas, sit around and talk, bowl, sit around and talk and even gift exchange ( sebab we are still high schoolers at heart) then keluar makan and talk and jalan ke Jalan TAR tatkala Jalan TAR nak tutup dah, then go back and talk.

It was funny because we kept on asking so what is the gossip.. and it turned out there is no gossip. Some mild things of who marrying whom but no jaws were dropped last weekend. I think since we are older and most are just concentrating on work and kids, there is nothing really to talk or think  of other people. We are officially adult. Mostly we talked about work and kids and talk about the old time and old feuds ( biasalah jiwa muda zaman remaja, kawan putus kawan , kawan balik).

Tuka-tuka hadiah. Kelakar.

Only one can't stay overnight but she is around for most of the goss.

It was really good to just hang out and just knows that something never change. Years later you can still anticipate exactly on what and how they talk about stuffs. So weird.

Bawak Aziz to jumpa the aunties. Auntie Nai tak pernah jumpa lagi. Tengok banyak orang die tak kenal, terus shy.  Husband came early to pick me up so I have lunch with my familia instead and left the remaining girls to their next activity.

Things happening

We went to Kuantan on Sunday. Very last minute due to my husband's cousin was involved in a major accident and was coma for a day. He is recovering know and Insya Allah will recover fully to our knowledge so far.

So we dashed to Kuantan in the morning and reached there afternoon. Aziz would not sleep the whole way there.. which is tiring to me who can't sleep the night before. Cause that means I have to entertain him the whole way. Nearing Kuantan he had throw a huge tantrum from being stuck in a car seat for hours. So just in time la we sampai. Fuh. I am quite strict about him being in a baby, but not really anal about it. Sebab he doesn't stay still dan pernah jatuh terhantuk kepala at the armrest , dan benjol. So memang most of the time he stay in the carseat.

We went to the hospital. Since the ICU unit don't let children come in I stay behind to follow Aziz wandering around the hospital. Afterwards pergi singgah kejab to Iz Yahya punye store untuk finally meet up with my online friend and her furkids dan shopping sekali la kat pet store die.

Sempat jumpa Muez the blind cat who is VERY active and sweet and manja. Dan die duk main dengan Aziz for a long time sampai Aziz dah start main ganas and I have to take the toy away from him. Die duk membedal Muez, sian Muez cuak.

Aku rase ni Mandy, bulat macam pregnant, tapi dah neutered. Garang gileeer. Biler angkat die sana sini die duk berbunyi emo jee.

Muez tengah rest kejab while Aziz play with the cat punye toy. I am really impressed with Iz punye pet store. It is so nice and clean and friendly and so much variety! Pet stores aku pergi kat KL pon tak banyak variety macam Iz punye store. Kite orang sempat rembat satu litterbox lagi yang macam dalam cage in the picture above tu.

Dan menunjukkan kite orang ni cat crazy people, terlupa nak ambik gambar with each other! Hahaha. Amik gamba kucing je lebih. Ptuih.

We went back to the hospital but I stay behind with Aziz and later we just hang around with his extended family for a while. Then decided to pergi to Teluk Cempedak pulak. The last time I went there is more than 10 years ago, so things have definitely changed! Very commercialized, not sure I like it, but that is the way it goes I guess.

We kenalkan Aziz to the beach! He doesn't mind the sand.. but he doesn't like ombak thank you very much. Ombak jahat. Bile the water comes near die run to me and hug my legs . Taknak go in the water. Padahal kat dalam swimming pool macam pro sangat nak berjalan sendiri dalam air tanak orang pegang. That is him running away from the waves.

Mostly he just really enjoyed the kite flying. Duk cakap and tunjuk 'ayang-ayang' ulang kali. At one point one of the kite jatuh near him, die run to it and ambik and begin to shake it. Naseb baik tak koyak layang2 orang. Nanti la kite orang bawak lagi pergi taman layang-layang ok.

Lepas tu makan at one of the gerai, nothing to shout about, but it does serve it purpose and went back home. Masuk kereta, he minum susu and terus tidur kepenatan. Fuh.

That's that.

By the way we are still renovating the kitchen and it is nearing completion so excited for it to be over! The house is so dusty and I am having one of my asthma 'episodes'.. no fun I tell you. Feeling lethargic the whole week and was even on MC on Tuesday.

And the cats are still at boarding. Poor kittehs. We put them up there at first sebab takut die orang ingested cement. We had heard ade cat mati makan or lick some of the cement around them, and it hardened inside and the cat can't poop and died. Horror. I rather pay more for them to be safe and be contained somewhere else. Lagi pon Gollywolly is allergic to dust. wahahaha. Over sangat kucing aku.

Then the belakang pon still penuh dengan workmen punye barang, which is where the cat usually stays so we extended their stays there. If I have time , I pop over to the petshop and pet them and buy them wet food la. Kesian the cats. They are so loud when they see me. Orang kedai pon cakap, Kurap tu tadek bunyi pon die dengar, I masuk kedai je, terus die berbunyi. Sian Kurap. Die kan anak mak. So she must take it the hardest.

The cats at boarding. Bertahan lagi for a few days ok, by next week you all will be at home.

BBW Fireball

The Firesale. Was wavering to go or not to go... but I really want to see if Matthew Reilly The Tournament is available since I saw it on someone blogs. To no avail. But I got some books which I had been looking before so it is not a total loss.

Ni adalah gambar exit. Haha. Was too pysched to get in and look for books that I only remembered to snap pic after I had paid for mine.

My stacks. I am an avid fan Georgette Heyer, but not her murder mystery detective novel. Found Shannon Hale which I like and the third book of the Matched series. Manage to fill the gap of my yet to read Sookie Stackhouse books.

Tangan Aziz mengapai2.

I also bought 4 books about cats! One is just fun quotes books, the other is fun facts about cats, the other 2 are of short stories of cats. Good to read on a downer day I say.

2 tshirt, one for Aziz and one for husband. 3 books that are picked up by Aziz. He picks up all the books that have sounds. The old McDonald one I picked for him. And that Emma book is for me.

Menekan2 button buku die repeatedly until he got bored.

Short post! Ending this post with gambar Aziz asyik tengok boats kat Mines, mommy die duduk tepi penat bawak buku.

p/s: I always updated my books that I bought, so it is easier for me to look back and list which book I need or haven't read. . Hehe.

Words. In paragraph.

Work
Things are changing. A lot of people are resigning from the company and a lot of people are not feeling too good about it. I am also thinking am I cut out for a SAHM existence? But I don't feel it. I also don't feel the confident to go back to the other side . It is scary. I am getting way too comfortable in my life and work here and it is a relaxed atmosphere. But a lot of the 'orang kuat' in the team are leaving I am not sure how the work gonna be nanti.

Cats
I think the cats are getting fungal infection. Ugh. Kena sapu cream. At least tak kena shove down pills down their throat

Feelings in general.
Like all over the place

Weekend is a coming.
Hallelujah! Wait. Can we say that. Am I going to hell for saying that? Will the soon to be formed syariah police dragged me away and shame me ???

TV series in general (mainly 2)
TVD - Not really feeling it that they turned Damon into such an asshole and not killing Katherine off. If Elena takes him back. I will have MORE FEELINGS. And not so pleasant one too.

Hart of Dixie - No one watches this but me as far I know, but I love this show and to my surprise since they paired Zoey and Joel , I love them so much. I love it that we don't see how they get together, I like how the slowly brought Joel characteristics forwards that I swear if the writers want to break them up I will have UNPLEASANT FEELINGS. Deserving caps.

Shopping
Laki beli baju kat London dan I gemuk walaupon saiz adalah betul tapi it seems so tight. Ugh.  He also bought me a handbag. Yeay! And books. More zombies books. Reading about zombies is just as riveting as watching them.

BBW
There is the fireball sale going on. It is tantalizing, but I have books that can last me a lifetime. Ok. Maybe 5 year tops. So many things to do this weekend though. However I did manage to win meself the BBW preview pass for whenever wherever it will be held end of this year. So yeay!

Being better
There is a lot of posts going around about how we should all you know basically thinks positive of others, being nice in general. I whole heartedly agreed. Am already implementing this.

Before this I don't get a lot of the moms blog, not being a mom meself. But then  I am, and was very engrossed reading a lot of the mom blogs and found it quite gems. Like I can totally variasikan my son youtube views to not just Upin and Ipin and Pocoyo, which he shown only a slight interest. He loves phonic songs and Mawa and Kawa so much since I heard that their kids love it too. Or how to prepare the simplest of meal to your kid and they love it. That don't work with mine but hey I gained a lot of knowledge. How to treat cough. How to be patient with your kids. And that what marvels me.

I have to admit. I am not a patient person. ( I am getting confused between patience and patient so bear with me) . Sometimes I lash out at my kid, especially during those tired, no one to help me around days. It burdened me with guilts and the best way for me to fight back those impatience is reading all these accounts from the mother , on how their kids are like this or like that, that some laugh, some grit and bear. So those mothers push me to be better with my kid. Reading on how patiently they layan their kids make me feel, hey this is normal, no your son is not being a hooligan, he is being a normal boy. So yes, those mother tips on how they handle their kids help me. So yeay to mom blogs!

People may say blogs are getting out style, but I always love blogs and reading em, and the love never quite go away. Only it is sad when good writers no longer write.

Ok. Lunchtime. And yes, heard another news that another people is resigning. *submit resumes to the winds in panic*

Sebagai penutup, here is a pic of the kid and my cats, and I think it is the cutest because it is hard enough to snap 3 cats altogeter, this is a surprise.

Tefal Actifry - The undomestic goddess review

Hari tu kekonon kan nak review. Domestic goddess sangat. Tapi alang2 ade free time ni sat, best jugak cerita my new favorite things in the kitchen ni.

Husband told that Tefal murah kat Turkmenistan and he bought me this sebab die tahu I detest frying things dan juga loser-ish untuk mengagak aku dah masak betul ke tak. Also I jugak ade perasaan yang amat bersalah bile tuang separuh botol minyak masak dalam kuali. Macam eiii.. berminyaknye.. eiii pembazirannye.

Model actifry sebagai comparison size

Ni masa memula dapat ni, rambut Aziz pon banyak lagi. Fresh from the box. Besar dan berat actifry ni but this is the smaller size tak silap. Ade lagi besar. Takpela. Ni lagi memadai.

Sebab bukannye complicated device so ni short review je.

Operation: Put the pedal and pan in the actifry. Put in a teaspoon of oil around the pan or you can opt out of oil. Plug in.  Put in a timer or not how many minutes you want to fry stuffs. Tekan On. Let it do it things. The timer will beep bile it had finished counting down, however it will still be cooking. The timer is more of an indicator. So you need to tekan off and walla hot piping chicken, fries, drummets, things that can be fried.

Taste: Honestly, for chicken, I don't feel the difference between frying with deep oil or using Actifry. You can opt to put in some oil, sometimes I put in a spoonful of bbq sauce for that bbq feeling. But without oil or sauce, it taste just great too. Fries tasted great. So does meat too.

Ayam yang digoreng. Nampak minyak tuu.. that is all the chicken fat, at this time I put in bbq sauce one spoonful so that is why it is brownish.

Cooked for 20 minutes with not much thawing time and it is cooked through. I hate it when I don't have enough time to thaw stuffs sebab aku ni pelupa. So this why actifry ni great for me.

Meshing traditional with modern gadget does not go well this time.
And I also fried karipap in this. haha. Karipap does not taste great with actifry. Tapi sebab aku ade banyak frozen karipap and no time to goreng and basuh kuali berminyak I try to Actifry it. It tasted ok la but a bit bland. I think kalau I goreng kuih kasturi sini will turn out better than karipap.

Listing the pro and cons below:

Pro: No thawing needed. Will cook things through. Great for chicken/fries/meat even better if added a little bit of oil or sauce. No need to supervise cooking. No oil spill! Easy to clean. Obviously more healthy than deep fried one. Save minyak. Cepat and easy especially for the time lepas balik kerja and you only have time to cook 1 lauk je.

Cons: A bit smallish so can only fried meat or chicken that had been cut to parts. Would be better if the timer will also off the actifry. Bulky. The pedal will have grits and fat sticking to it and since there is a gap underneath the paddle is a major pain to clean.

The pedal sticking situation I got it under control as I balut the pedal with aluminium foil especially when frying chicken. Kalau fry fries no need. And not all things need to use pedal pon since it main use is to terbalikkan2 the stuffs so it is evenly cooked. If do not want to use the pedal, then every 7 to 10 minutes terbalikkan sendiri je.

For energy used. Honestly I couldnt really say but from what I can see sebab aku yang bayar bil lektrik pon berbulan, tadekla increase pon. I used it pon dalam once or twice a week. Maybe if everyday nampak kut beza, but probably not much.

Verdict: Love .

Ok. Itu saje product review. Saya tidak dibayar mahupon disponsor, saje nak review sebab yeayyyy... suke tak payah goreng ayam. I hate goreng ayam.

A year and a half later

Ade ke patut mummy die letak gamba belakang je. Malas nak mengupload namanye ni. Ni gamba semalam. Die tengah excited nampak kucing jiran jalan2 kat luar rasanye.

Semalam dak kecik dah setahun setengah. And my husband tadi takut-takutkan aku dengan video signs of ASD in early toddlers sebab die rase macam ade.

I malas nak carik link youtube, but you can see it here :

The video is a bit too general and it does breaks my heart to see the difficulties for one child to interact with his mother. Sedih. Also penangan for me to really focus and play with my son more for us to know the sign if something is not right.

Those who are interested to know how to detect autism with early toddlers can also read this:

That article bagi a simple but more easy to understand signs to look at. I had always have a little fear my kid / future kid ade autistic after seeing my little cousin who we took care of when he was small was diagnosed as autistic. Oh and after watching the video and reading the signs, I don't think so my son have it. But if ditakdirkan ade, it would not be the end of the world.

Anyway... PSA dah habis.

We just came back from Alor Setar for a wedding at Changlun and he had a blast. Die memang suke duduk hotel room ni. Bagus. Haha. Mostly he behaved and I love that he sits quietly during breakfast buffet so parents die boleh melantak. Asal boleh jalan. We went to Padang Besar , didn't find anything worth talking about. Beli bakul untuk die bawak ke taska, beli tshirt and thats it kut. Banyak lagi aku beli kat Pasar Rabu Alor Setar.

Development yang lain, I seen marked improvement in language. He babbles more and more now and some I am beginning to understand. Nama-nama kucing setakat ni die pandai Bobby je. Itu pon die panggil 'Baby'. Ade satu malam tu Bobby lepak2 atas katil die gi tepuk2 Bobby sambil cakap 'Baby... baby.. baby'. Haha. Also masa kat Alor Setar tengah makan satu malam tu die duk kejar kucing keliling food court panggil 'baby' gak. So probably to him cat = baby.

Tantrum bole tahan. Tantrum dengan pukul , tendang bagai. Which menaikkan darah aku. I am fine with the crying but the hitting tantrum is really pushing my patience. Need to quickly distract him if he start, sometimes kena marah la dengan mak die kan. Memang bile nak marah ni kena deep breath punye. However it is not that bad.

Selera makan pon boleh tahan. Before this tanak makan anything, laki aku dah suruh beli Shaklee Mealshake ke ape kemende. I of course la resist the idea. Then my sister suggest Scott Emulsion. Naseb baik he likes the taste. Don't know if the Scott Emulsion or growth spurt ke ape, selera die sejak seminggu ni kemain lagi. Habis semangkuk besar bubur die makan. I am still learning what he likes to eat. My sister duk bebel suruh jangan biasakan die makan luar takut jadi obese, (budak2 montel sekarang ni suke makan nasi lemak je).. I replied... erm noooo... I don't eat luar. I eat at my sister house! Seriously I eat more at their house than my own. Also aku suspect anak aku lagi suke makan akak aku masak dari aku masak. Sebab akak aku masak, die makan habis, aku masak susah betul nak habis. HAHAHAHA. *sedih* Nak buat camne, mak die skill masak kurang ado. Takpela kan. But seriously .. it is serious. Eating out should be limited. Laki aku pon dah warning, if dah buat dapor baru tu rajin2 la kena masak. Whaattt...

Heh. Ok la. Later.

Cats and Mess

At first this photo was meant for my IG story, but the mess is too much. So I opted not to, and in a whim decided to just post it here. Beca...
