Brief Scare

Heh. Want to update it to Twitter, tapi macam panjang je nak tulis. So malassss and twitlonger or deckly is unkewl.

Anyway, reading Blog Serius just now reminded me of an incident in BTN.

Warning: Kesah mistik ahead

When I was in UTP, some of us are required to go to the BTN. Our BTN camp was somewhere in Perak near a Chinese cemetery. I remembered that we have to go past the Chinese cemetery and past some ladang getah I think to get to the camp. Nothing untoward really happened there. It was fun actually and not as racist or propaganda-ish as I thought it would be. The food sucks balls but we lived.

Kate kesah mistik ahead kan. Well, no one said anything weird happened. Some people said its a bit creepy (you should see the bathroom, it looks like the set of a Thai ghost movie), however most of us get through the 3 or 4 days without incident. Again, mana kesah mistik nye?

Maybe I should say slight incident. My bed on the camp was a double decker bed and I am unlucky enough to get the top bunk. On the first night I slept there, I suddenly woke up in the middle of the night because I was cold. It was. And I also realized that I am not on my bed anymore. Instead I was beneath the bed. Somehow I manage to fall of my bed and rolled underneath the bed without waking up, which is like... how you manage to fall of a double decker bed and not wake up? I briefly panicked. Brief is the word because I was also really tired and sleepy. So I rolled myself out and drag myself up to the bed and continue to sleep in seconds.

If anything there wanted to scare me, they/it must have been disappointed because I quickly forgot about it after waking up and continue my day happily. Nothing untoward happened the subsequent nights. And I sometimes wondered how I manage to get there.

Gile tak best ending cite ni. Sorry to waste your few mins. LOL.

New arrival

I have delivered a healthy baby boy! Currently am dealing with all the new stuffs associated with new mother, breastfeeding woes, sleepless night, murderous tendencies at 3am towards little one. So a bit late in updating. In short, I gave birth to this little bundle of cuteness at 5.37pm on the 3rd of August 2012 on my 38th weeks. Unexpected ( somewhat ) delivery ni, as I have to be induced and later gave birth to him via c-section. EDD 14th Aug, and sepatutnye also I was suppose to be induce today instead last week, tapi mende nak jadi. As long as semua selamat. Anyhow will update more later. In cat news, Bobby kena stay at the vet due to lung infection. :( Sedihhh. Hope he gets better soon. Tak tahu how it happened, but it does and hope kucing lain tak kena.

From Ampang to JB: A Foodies Journey

Somewhere at a gerai in Ampang Jaya   Laksa Sarawak.  Decent. I prefer the Hadeeja Cafe one though.  Mee kolo. V. nice.  Better than the one at Hadeeja Cafe, though I tasted better at Sarawak of course. Somewhere at Kampung Melayu Majidee, JB.   My favorite stall of ABC. Pic quality kinda sucks here, but hey, it was dark and I used a cameraphone.   Yong taufu sup that is filled full with kangkung (I googled kangkung, and it is stated as water spinach in English. Really ar?) Oh, the picture does not look much, but this is the best yong taufu sup ever. The soup is especially super tasty and their sauce just bring the right combination of spiciness in the soup. And I completely forgot to look again at which road this shop is situated in. I know how to get there but not its name. The yong taufu above I ate alll by myself. Nyam2. Didn't ordered otak-otak though because was too full. Somewhere in Angsana, JB.   The famed Mee Rebus Haji Wahid.  If its a holiday, there is a l
